The Adventures of Morgan and Morgan (RP with Riki)

Posted

(I don't even know if this RP will be serious or not but oh well)

Morgan woke up in a strange forest, her head pounding. She slowly got up so that she was sitting, and held her head. "What happened...?" She asked, studying her surroundings. "I was at the Outrealm Gate, and now... I'm here?" She stood, and tried to get a closer look at her surroundings. Her Pegasus was close to her, and it seemed to be fine. That was good. Now she just needed to figure out where the heck she was, and hope that she wouldn't run into any enemy forces. She walked over to her pegasus, which stood happily at the sight of it's master. "You don't happen to know where we are... Do you?" She asked, and the pegasus seemed to shake it's head in response. Morgan sighed. "I guess we'll have to scout around, then... Let's walk, I don't want to make you fly around when you're already worn out." She smiled at the winged horse, then the two set off to find any sign of where they'd ended up.

Wow... She went out quickly. Morgan thought to herself before inspecting her pegasus. She studied various parts of its body, attempting to find any wounds that could cause problems later on. She didn't notice anything too damaging, and concluded that after a rest, the horse would be mostly healed. That's a relief... She leaned against the pegasus, and tried to focus on where the other Morgan could potentially arrive from.

As the other Morgan leaned against her Pegasus, the sound of a man with a vaguely familiar voice echoed in her ears. "Morgan... You should come to me..."  It whispered, she could feel something trying to pull her away...

"Nevermind that... just follow where your mind tells you to go..."  The voice whispered, the pull intensified, trying to send her to her left.

"Okay..." Morgan sighed, giving in to the voice's demands. I might as well see where this thing is... She began to move to her left, keeping an eye out for any traps.

Morgan woke with a start. "Where are you going to?" She asked, she had a quick recovery.

Morgan was startled by... Other Morgan waking up. "H-huh?" She jumped a bit. "Oh... Uh... I heard a weird voice... I'm trying to figure out who it is. It's... Probably not the brightest idea, though." She laughed nervously.

"No good, that's a bad idea. I don't know if it happened to your dad or if he even told you, but during the war before Grimia's destruction his father Validar talked to him in his head simehow, and even influenced his actions on rare occasions." Morgan said. "If you go out there, your probably as good as dead..."

"Oh... I didn't even think about that." Morgan said, somewhat embarrassed. "So... What should we do about it, then? Whatever was talking to me could come to us..." She suggested, gripping her lance tighter as she did so.

"Whoever it is wants to separate us and probably has an idea of where we are now." Morgan looked around quickly, but cautiously. "We have to move. Either on land or foot. It's not safe to be here anymore."

Morgan sighed, looking at her pegasus. "She can't take us... I'm not even sure if she'll be able to walk with us." She was worried, not wanting to leave the winged horse behind. She woke it up, and it slowly stood. "I think she can go a short distance..." Morgan reported.

"Then we be on our guard. We wait here and let the pegasus rest. But we need some cover, in case the bow-using Morgan comes back... she seems to be a sharp shot." Morgan looked around, finding a small cave in the distance. "Our best bet is over there in the cave. Mindless monsters are easier to kill than other people" She said, begining her March towards the cave. It wasn't much farther from them than a few minutes of walking.

"Yeah, I agree." Morgan nodded, and followed the other Morgan to the cave. Her pegasus slowly followed after her, struggling to not collapse and rest after all of the pain it had gone through. "What was up with that other Morgan, anyway? She was... Kind of scary."

Morgan stopped, leaning on the back of the wall. "Probably something different than normal of our world's happebed, making her dad, whoever he is, crazy with power and changing who she is... but that's a shot in the dark." She sighed, taking a seat. "Whatever her problem is, it's a big one..."

Morgan also sat down, her pegasus resting next to her. "That would make sense... Why would he do that to her, though?" She began to ask, before remembering what her grandfather had done to her father. I guess it's not as rare as I'd hoped... I'm just glad I didn't end up like that weird Morgan. "What are we going to do about her, anyway? Do we even stand a chance in a fight...?"

"As long as her father dosen't show himeslf- given he us anything like mine, we should be fine. " Morgan replied. "We just need to keep ourselves close to her." She said, before stopping a moment. She tucked in and rolled deeper in the cave, drawing her Killer Edge. "Who are you!?" She yelled, but sparks floated in the air as a blade slashed out at her. A higher-pitched, yet familiar voice screeched "For Justice! I will stop you this time, Morgan!" A girl in stringy blue hair and tattered, light metalic armor leaped out at her opponent. "H-hey! You're Crom's daugher! Stop!""I was his daugher till you murdered him! And Lucinia! And Sumia! You killed my whole family!" The voice of a girl: Cynthia, yelled out."I did no such thing!" Morgan fired back, parrying... the Falcion?! "Where did you get the Falcion?!"She yelled. "Why don't you shut up and use that damn bow you got! Kill me where I stand and take another one of these accursed blades!" She struck downward with incredible force, destroying the Killing Edge. "I don't even know how to use a bow a fifth as well as that girl what shot me and the other Morgan and her Pegasus! Now calm down!" Morgan yelled, sending a force of wind at the Cynthia, only enough to push her off. Morgan fell to the ground, and threw the destoryed hilt of her sword to the ground. "We just wanna rest for a while, please..." She said, gripping her wrist: the blow had put a lot of stress on her arm, even as a experienced swordsman.

"Cynthia?!" Morgan jumped up at the sight of her sister trying to murder the other Morgan. W-wait... Chrom? Lucina? This must be the Evil Morgan's sister... "Hey, stop!" She shouted to the girl. "This Morgan's innocent, and so am I! The Morgan you're looking for is probably on her way here right now!" She drew her lance, but didn't want to fight their opponent, even if she wasn't really her sister. She still looked and sounded just like her sister, making Morgan unable to hurt her... But she was prepared to defend herself.

Cynthia looked at the two, her eye judging the two. "I see. You're her next prey." She sighed. "Come on. Bring the horse, too,. That Morgan cannot come under here, Libera casted an enchantment here preventing her from going any farther than the first shadows location." She sheathed the Falcion, turning away "at least she did ten years ago, before he died..." She walked down into the cave, much farther. Morgan stood up, looking at Cynthia. "Follow her. We need to be as far away from the other Morgan as possible... I just hope we don't go against her in an full on fight... neither of us will stand a chance." She walked down, much slkwer, but she walked, following the Cynthia as close as she could.

Morgan nodded. "Anywhere away from that evil Morgan is fine with me." She responded, following the other Morgan and Cynthia down the stairs. She still felt uneasy about this other Cynthia, and decided to ask her a question. "So... Your father was Chrom... Right?" She asked.

"Yeah. He was my old man. What about it?" She stated in a flat tone, she honestly didn't feel too engrossed in the situation. Morgan nursed her poor arm, it has been shot, hit, and now possibly sprsng. She grumbled about it a moment, but kept rather quite nome the less.

"W-well..." Morgan slightly blushed, a little nervous to explain to Cynthia what her world was like. "Where I'm from... You're my younger sister." She told Cynthia. "I guess this just shows how different all of our universes are."

"You? My sister? Not the first time I've heard that one, sad as it may be..." Cynthia said, in a grim tone. As they walked, the room slowly got darker and darker till it was nearly pitch black, and then at its dsrkest, a small light shine from around a corner. They continued on until they made it to Cynthia's camp. A fire, hay everywhere thst fire wasnt, and some bundled up old sacks of feathers. "Take a seat. Not the nicest home, but it's home." Cynthia took off her top layer of armor, having the royal blue cloth of an old royal family outfit, likely and old dress or light cloth used when training, however tattered and frayed everywhere and patches of random colors in random places. and chain mail under it. She sat on a small pile of hay, and next to it, sat her hunted and gathered foods of the day: some assorted meats, a few fish, some odd looking fruits, ect.Morgan sat on the ground, looking around. The area had all sorts of weapons, it looked like a shop keeper had exploded and left his entire supply there with Cynthia. "By chance, do you have-""Yeah, to your left." Morgan looked over and saw staffs all along the wall. Every flavor of them, from teleportation staffs to even the best healing staffs. She took one and looked at herslef in its crystal. It was one of few staffs that could be used to heal ones self, and a good one at that. She raised it to the air, and used it on herself, and waited for the other Morgan and her Pegasus to enter and sit down.

Morgan felt kind of conflicted. She knew this Cynthia wasn't the hyper, easygoing Cynthia she knew from back home, but she still didn't know how to react to seeing someone who looked almost exactly like her. Seeing this Cynthia made her miss her own sister. I need to get home to the others soon... I hope they're all doing okay... She sighed, and sat down with the other two girls. "How long have you been holed up down here, anyway?" She asked Cynthia, still curious about the events that had taken place in this world that she presumed was the home of this Cynthia and the evil Morgan from earlier.

Morgan pointed the staff, using it to heal the other Morgan and her Pegasus. Meanwhile, Cynthia took a deep breath. "Somewhere near a few years. I can't remember how old I am, but I think I may be about twenty..." She replied. Coughing a little, she put a bowl of water to her lips and drank from it. "When this all started I was about fourteen."

"Thanks, Morgan." Morgan smiled at her alternate timeline counterpart, before listening to Cynthia speak again. "It's been that long?" Morgan was shocked by Cynthia's response. She's older than the Cynthia I know, then... "What exactly happened to that other Morgan, anyway? How did she end up this way?"

"It all began during the raid on Walhart's castle. My father, Crom became I'll after the battle and Alpha, our tactician, lost his wife in the battle. There were many other casualties during this fight as well. Sthal, Panne, Fredrick, and a whole lot of others, too... Walhart has so many more men than anticipated, even through all of us struggling and fighting our best, most of us couldn't keep up. After Lissa was struck down my Walhart... something changed in him." She coughed again, this time more than before. After she stopped, she drank from the bowl again, and tried to regain her composure. "Sorry... I'm afraid I'm a bit ill..." she said in a voice just above a wisper. Then she carried on."After Walhart killed her... Alpha changed completely. He killed Walhart, and fifty of his men on his own... it was gruesome to say the least..." She shuttered. "Morgan changed with him. No doubt she felt the same sorrow. Unlike a large portion of other Morgans I have seen, she retained a large sum of her memories of everyone. She was also very quiet, recluse, didn't take too much pleasure in anyone besides her sort of doom and gloom boyfriend Yarne... but after that fight, she became almost more spritly, and joyful, she became good friends of our family, even though Crom was badly ill. Many of the people in town still would have thought he died of just his illness had they not been dead themselves....."She took a breath, then contenued."It had been a year since the battle with Walhart. Alpha was almost nowhere to be seen, Morgan was like a sister to myself and the whole family. One night, like the usual, she stayed the dark hours in our home. Nothing unusual about it. We didn't want her traveling by night alone, and an Assassin could kill Crom if we sent a platoon with her, our army was still recovering, so she stayed often and was a great guest. But that night, she snuck up on the guards around Crom's room, and killed all five before one could sound an alarm, or even warn Sumia or Crom..."Morgan poked her head up. "Your parents are the same as in my world, however no one died during the final battle, and everyone came out healthy.""Then I must assume that your mother was also Lissa, but your father was diffrent from Alpha.""Exactly, but how...""These weapons are all of diffrent, fallen Morgan's. Predating you lot, with every family member imagination could make. And even worse, after they fell, so did everyone in their armies."Morgan sat there shocked. She held her current staff in her hand, and it almost seemed like she was clinging to a ghost. She threw it down, in shock. Cynthia only shook her head and grabbed the staff from the floor."Anyhow, I will contenue. She slipped a poison into them, a quick-acting, very strong poison, into Crom and Sumia. She moved out, silent as a bird, carrying one thing onbher: the Falcion. Next, she moved onto my sisters room, Lucinia. This time, however, I was there to try and save her. I went to check on Crom as usual for thst night, but when I found him not breathing, I called the Royal Guard to try and heal him, and I ran to my sister's room, only to be a moment too late. The blade was driven quite deep into my sister's heart, she was dead in an instant." Tears ran down her eyes. "If only I had... just... why wasn't I faster back then...?" She sobbed, turning away. "I-I'm sorry, we will have to contenue tommorow, once I've got myself together..."Morgan felt the weight of it all hitting her at once. She wept as well.
