The Adventures of Morgan and Morgan (RP with Riki)

Posted

(I don't even know if this RP will be serious or not but oh well)

Morgan woke up in a strange forest, her head pounding. She slowly got up so that she was sitting, and held her head. "What happened...?" She asked, studying her surroundings. "I was at the Outrealm Gate, and now... I'm here?" She stood, and tried to get a closer look at her surroundings. Her Pegasus was close to her, and it seemed to be fine. That was good. Now she just needed to figure out where the heck she was, and hope that she wouldn't run into any enemy forces. She walked over to her pegasus, which stood happily at the sight of it's master. "You don't happen to know where we are... Do you?" She asked, and the pegasus seemed to shake it's head in response. Morgan sighed. "I guess we'll have to scout around, then... Let's walk, I don't want to make you fly around when you're already worn out." She smiled at the winged horse, then the two set off to find any sign of where they'd ended up.

After taking out the first Risen soldier, Morgan moved towards the second one. Once again, she used her Elfire Tome to attack this opponent, hoping to have a similar result to what happened with the last one...

"So... this is the Outerrealm Gate...?" Morgan asked curiously. She hadn't really visited this area often. "How do we activate it, Cynthia?" She asked their leader, ready to leave this place. She didn't really enjoy all of the surprise attacks from the bad guys.

"So... this is the Outerrealm Gate...?" Morgan asked curiously. She hadn't really visited this area often. "How do we activate it, Cynthia?" She asked their leader, ready to leave this place. She didn't really enjoy all of the surprise attacks from the bad guys.

Cynthia walked over to the Gate, leading his horse over to it. "Simple. The Outerrealm Gate, at least in this world, only requires one to step on it. Grimia may try to block our passage, however, there are a number of pathways through this Outerrealm. We'll get somewhere."

Morgan sighed. "For the love of Naga... I hope we can get to my father. Our army is small but revered, my father and Crom were running the Vanguard; they couldn't be stopped, and they finished Walhart very quickly, his army could only really watch. If we wanted the strongest of the strong, they would be there."

"It won't be enough. My father stormed the castle at midnight and knocked the entire army off their feet. We will need more than just that."

Morgan gasped. "That's impossible!  Walhart had the finest army in all of the world besides the combined Yilisse and Regina Ferox's, and even with all that force it took a lot just to get close to the castle!"

"My father was not a normal man."

"No Crom is."

"Good point. Still, we will need more. Something more powerful than even every Crom or Lucinia in all the paths."

Morgan looked at the other Morgan, the idea was like Lighting in her head. "Simple fix. Find more Morgan's."

Cynthia looked, at first, disgusted, then confused, and eventually flabbergasted. "The hell do you mean?!"

"Like I said. Find more of us. I can function as our Tactician, I've already proven my father was smarter than the other Morgan's father "Alpha", and though my father I've gotten better than Alpha as well. The other Morgan is a great flying unit, a little under-experienced, but she knows how to fight. The other Morgan has kept this land free of threats for years... It only makes sense. Our genes show for themselves, we're strong by nature."

"...You might be on to something there.... No. In fact, you're probably right. We need more Morgan's. But what if the next place we go to doesn't have a Morgan for us to find?"

"No matter what, we need to recruit someone everywhere we go. It's going to take a lot to defeat this Grimia if he was able to find a way to kill a man as strong as your world's Crom, so it might be a good idea to bring anyone we can with us."

"Right. So, is everyone ready?"

[YES]

"That plan is absolutely insane, Morgan..." Morgan smiled. "I think it will be enough to help us take down Grima's forces, though." She agreed. "I say we go through with her plan, Cynthia. After all, it would keep the other Morgans from being attacked by surprise like we were. If we get to them first, the other Morgan won't be able to hurt them. We'll save their lives, and grow an army powerful enough to defeat Grima!"

Cynthia smiled. "Maybe we have a chance afterall..." for the first time in a long time, a small smile crept up on her, even if she tried her best to hide it.

"Not maybe, we will win. We will stop Grimia, we'll stop him everywhere we go."

"Right."

"So let's move!"

"It's been so long since i could say this... Charge!"

"That's the youthful daughter of Crim I know, I'm I'm agreement, let's go!"

The three stepped through the gate.

Meanwhile, at the Dragons Table

The crys of Grimia could be heard above the sky, it was a wonder that Morgana hadn't burst an eardrum being so close. She kneeled there, knowing she had failed her master. "How did you let them get away! You little brat... I told you to kill them! We need them dead! And now they have escaped into the Outerrealm... Do you know what this means!?"

"But fat- I mean... Lord Grimia... Can you not stop them?!"

"I cannot, by the time I had discovered their presence in the Outerrealm, the only thing I could do was slow them down, weakened them...though they may die where they're going, we need them dead here!"

"Y-yes... Lord Grimia..."

"Drag them back her NOW. Before I do it myself..."

Back in the Outerrealm.

As the small team made their way through, they could almost feel their strength draining, almost like their powers were being pulled away from them. For a while, it was almost like time was ticking in reverse.

However, they made it, barely escaping the reaches of the Outerrealm. They were forced out, jetesined like a broken wheel off of a fast-moving cart. However, they were not entirely themselves. Anna looked over to the three who had just came from the Outerrealm, confused as to why two of the daughter of the Yilisse's tactician and one of Sumia's daughters, though she looked absolutely raggid, had came through her Gate, but not by much. Odder things had happened, like the Yillissian army coming back with enough gold for over five hundred carts pulled by bulls.

She ran from the area and gathered some water for the three, bringing back a canteen full, she carefully bullet all three to the side and turned them on their backs.

Morgan opened her eyes slowly. After traveling through the gate, she felt drained of her power. She looked around, noticing that Morgan and Cynthia were also with her. A woman was nearby, too. She must have been the one that helped the three. "Th-thank you, Anna." Morgan whispered. Thankfully, it seemed like someone she recognized. Perhaps they'd meet another Morgan here as well. "Morgan, Cynthia... are you two okay?"

"Morgan, Cynthia... are you two okay?"

Morgan moaned as she sat up. "Fine, but tired- Wait... What happened to my voice?" She moved her hand over her mouth, feeling it, making sure it was her. "Testing..." Her voice was higher than before. "What happened to us?"

Cynthia sat up as well, looking at the two Morgan's, she looked quite a bit... So to say, younger, her hair was cleaner and better kept. Her armor wasn't as tattered, either, she looked to the blond Morgan, then to the brown-haired. "Hey, what happened to your equipment? You look like you haven't sat on a Pegasus in your life in that gettup."

Quite quickly, Morgan pieced it together, the signs were quite clear. "Grimia did something to us... And I think whatever it was reverted us back to a time when we were younger... Cynthia, you look like you've only just recently finished a war, not been in one for years like before..."

Cynthia felt her face, her hair, she looked down at her clothes, and gasped. "You're right..."

"Morgan, you look like Cynthia said, like you could barely hold the reigns of a Pegasus, forget fighting with one... My voice is like when I was younger and my clothes don't exactly fit quite right, it's like I shrunk. I can't exactly recall how to do some of my skills either..."

Anna stood to the side, quite confused at all this talk, however both Morgan's had now given their thanks and Cynthia as well. They each stood and looked around. "It doesn't seem like your mounts made it through, I hope they're alright." Morgan noted.

"Shadowmere has been through the Outerrealm more times than one, they'll be safe. "

"Good to hear, but that doesn't exactly help me with keeping our unit in order."

Almost on que, the two horses trot their way out of the Outerrealm, however, Morgan's Pegasus was white as a cloud in a nearly clear sky.

"Well, at least we have everyone again..."

"This is a weird way for Grima to try to fight back..." Morgan noted, still adjusting to her different voice and height. "Well... our tactician's still got her tactical skills, right? I'm sure we'll do just fine!" She said cheerfully. Her pegasus walked over to her, and stood next to her. "Wow, even you look different..." She sighed. "Hopefully we'll be able to adjust quickly." She tried to remain optimistic. Seeing Cynthia look more like Morgan's younger sister began to bother the young girl a bit... However, she tried to forget it. "Do you think that the Morgan of this world would have also been affected by this spell?" She asked, hoping she'd be fine.

"Probably not the intention, but it's the Outerrealm, unexpected things happen there even out of Grimia's control." Morgan replied, and Cynthia answered the followup question. "Probably not, I doubt he can affect anyone who hasn't been to his realm outside of changing their course in the Outerrealm to lead them there."

Anna looked at the three. "So, before I explode with questions, can you tell me what is going on with you lot?"

"I'll explain everything, I know the most."

So, with little time, Cynthia explained the whole situation to Anna, who wasn't exactly phased by it all. "I see... Quite an interesting story there..." She said, trying to process it all. "Well, it's not unusual for this to happen, I'll send for the Prince, he'll come get you and help with your problem, I don't doubt."

"Prince?" Morgan's head cocked to the side.

"Yes, Prince Inigo!"

Both Morgan and Cynthia looked in shock and awe. "Inigo a prince?!" was yelled simultaneously.

"From what I hear of other Outerrealm traveler's, this is very odd, I know."

"Talk about weird timeline..." Morgan said, rubbing her head.

"... What's so weird about Inigo being a prince?" Morgan looked confused. "He's a prince where I come from, too." She explained. "First you say it's weird that I'm married to Owain, now it's weird that Inigo is married to Lucina... You're an odd bunch." Morgan sighed.

Cynthia's head tilted to the side. "He wouldn't be considered a prince, you can only be considered a prince if you are of a royal blood, like how Tecnically, until we defeated Validar, any Morgan's born were the princesses of Valm, however, say one of you for some ungodly reason dated Sthal, for instance, he wouldn't be a prince."Morgan brushed her hair back. "In fact, the only way he could Tecnically be a prince would be to marry into the family and have the reigning king accept him as his own child, or-""-He was born to the king as a son. Which is what happened here."Anna laughed. "Also, consider the facts at hand, Inigo isn't exactly "princely" material. In fact, I would say he isn't anything more than a scumbag sometimes. So I can kinda get why people get confused as to how he could be a prince." Anna chuckled. "Reguardless, his desire to meet fair maidens always draws him here, when I give him a message." She turned and began to walk away. "By the way, I would suggest that you use the spare clothes in the room in the farthest part of the right corridor, otherwise, just hold on for a bit!"

"I suppose that's true... It's weird to think that he'd be Chrom's son here, though..." Morgan thought aloud. After hearing Anna's suggestion regarding clothing, she stood and looked at her two companions. "I suppose we might as well head over there now, right?" She asked the other two.

So the three went to the room, and changed their clothes. "Wow, this place is weird... Their fashion is kind of out of date." Morgan mentioned, being the first out. She had decided to trim her hair shorter, it was curly because of her mom, but not too curly, when it wasn't too long at least. She pulled her hair back and put her hood above her head, it made it easier to define between herself and the other Morgan. Cynthia came out next, dressed with a light suit of white armor and royal blue leggings and gloves, her hair had been pulled straight back into a bun and was noticeably cleaner. Her face lacked the scars and damage time must have taken on her in their world. "It's nice to be in clean, fresh clothes again, it's been so long!" she yelled, giddy with her new outfit.

Morgan was the last of the three to leave. "I'm just happy that we're back in a place that's not quite as bleak as we were earlier." She said in response to Cynthia's comment. She found a new suit of gray armor, boots, and gauntlets, though she decided to keep her hair the way it had been before. "Alright, I'm ready for action!" She exclaimed, just before suddenly tripping on nothing and falling flat on her face. "Ow... I-it was the boots." She said quickly as she got back up on her feet.

"You really are Sumia's kid..." Morgan sighed, a slight chuckle escaping her lips. By now, however, the voice of a young, sprightly, ladies man came into one's hearing. Dressed in fine, Yiliseian Shepard Armor, like a son of Crom would, Inigo, accompanied by a few knights and... Yet another Morgan? "Hello, and what brings you lovely lasses through to our lovely little realm?"

"It's a long story, Prince Inigo."

Cynthia struggled to call him prince, but it wasn't impossible...

"Please, Inigo is fine! And I have all the time in the world."

"Well... You see-"

The story would have to wait, as bandits began to fill the area. "Little prince, I told you...!"

A voice boomed.

"Leaving me high and dry so many years ago would be something you would regret!"

A female, dressed in pelts and rags, much like other Bandits, waltzed up the steps into the room, and fired a powerful bolt of Thunder magic at the Morgan and Inigo's guards. There was no time to talk...

TURN ONE

(No map this time, I'm too lazy .-.)
