Koukon approached the gates to the Hidden Rain Village, taking a moment to stare from the outside before he spoke with the guards. It was about midday, but he couldn't tell what time it was. The sky was a dull gray, shielded by the clouds that seemed to constantly linger over the land. Koukon was wearing a white cloak over his typical black jacket, and kept his hood up to keep the constant rain from dripping on his hair. This town looks kinda bleak... I can't imagine having to live here when it's constantly raining. This place is really different from the bright and sunny Leaf. He thought to himself before walking up to the guards.

 

"Hm? A Leaf shinobi?" A tall man studied Koukon, noticing his headband. "What's your business here?"

 

"I was sent here to check in on the village and see how the reconstruction is going. Name's Koukon Yougan, chunin of the Hidden Leaf village." Koukon introduced himself, keeping a serious look while he spoke to the guard. Probably shouldn't get too loud here... Even though the place looks boring... He held back a sigh.

 

"Very well, you can enter. Welcome to the Hidden Rain Village." The guard greeted Koukon, who thanked the guard and stepped through the gate.

 

Koukon walked around the village. He noticed as people carried out their business, some seeming surprisingly cheerful in their gloomy village. Guess the place isn't as bad as I thought it'd be. A slight smile spread across his face. I'll be here for a couple days, anyway... Guess I have some time to enjoy myself and see what the village has to offer. As he walked, he remembered that he needed to go find the new leader of the village and deliver a message from the Hokage to them. He decided to try and find a ninja who knew where the leader stayed, and join them for a little bit. Maybe if I'm lucky, I'll find a cute girl to take me there... His smile widened at the thought.

Yeul Nettarin walked aimlessly in her village with her hands behind her back, quite bored with today's events. After failing her chunin prep-exams multiple times, she was drained of energy. With her plain black shirt and pants, a person would hardly call her a stand-out among girls. However, being born with an absurd amount of chakra gave her what would seem like a godsend, except for her complete inability to perform even the simplest genjutsu. Twirling her shoulder-length dark blue hair absent-mindedly, a boy with a weird headband passed by her. An... intruder? Calling out to him, she bluntly declared her suspicion, too disoriented to even remember which village it symbolized. "What are your intentions here, .....outsider?"

Koukon was stopped is his tracks by a bored looking girl who seemed to be suspicious of him. Huh... Guess the people here aren't that welcoming of outsiders. Koukon sighed. .. She's actually kinda hot, though... I guess I can forgive her for that. His mischievous smirk remained on his face for a moment, before he caught himself and tried to look calm. "Name's Koukon Yougan, a chunin of the Hidden Leaf Village. I was sent here to deliver a message to your village's leader, and observe and help with the village's reconstruction for a few days." He responded to the girl. "If you wouldn't mind helping me out, I could use some company to wherever it is that the village's leader lives..." He said, hoping she would join him. Maybe I'll ask her for a date after I've taken care of business... Oh, man, this is perfect! He barely kept himself from grinning as he daydreamed about spending the day with this girl.

So that's where he's from...... The girl completely missed the mischievous smirk, still in despair from the tests. "Okay, this way. I think." Setting out at a quick pace, she jumped through the industrialized metallic skyscrapers and secret ducts. Taking a quick shortcut in between to buildings, she nearly cut her cheek off a sharp piece of glass but dodged it in time. Her hair flying past her shoulders, she reveled in the fun before reaching the tallest building. "Alright, we're here. Shall I escort you in?"

Koukon was surprised when the girl suddenly turned and leapt into the town's skyscrapers. "H-hey, wait up!" He called out to her, and quickly set off to catch up with her. He could have tried using his Swift Style to keep up, but figured that in a town that he didn't know how to navigate, that might not be the best idea. Instead, he followed slightly behind her until they reached the building. "That would be nice if you could." He responded, partially wanting company from the village, and partially wanting to keep her nearby so he could try and take her out for lunch after he finished delivering the message.
