I'm surprised I haven't seen this posted yet.  Most people here might be too young to remember the original power rangers, but this is well done, and has some good references to the original show.   (contains some profanity and violence for you youngins)

Actually the basis of Power Rangers (Super Sentai) is a lot more gritty and dark, Power Rangers stems off of it and makes the show a lot less serious so it's better for children.====The more you knooow====*@Topic I do agree with Blank on this one. Super serious dosen't fit Power Rangers. Although if they did it in a way where there was a sort of Super Sentai for people wanting the same story with a little less cheese was avalable to the public, that would get the job done relatively the same.

Oh, I saw this video before it was taken off of Youtube, and I have to say, it was a pretty grim, dark, gritty version of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers!  The way the short film was done was really impressive, but I didn't like the whole drug and sex thing.  They could have at least left that out.  But as for the rest, it looked pretty badass, especially the battle between the Megazord and the giant monster!  That looked very well done!  Just goes to show you how fans can make impressive stuff like these.
