Working in the Film and Television industry

Posted

This is related to peoples personal lives so figured it would be alright to put it here

Alright I've been getting a bit curious recently and i figured I'd just come out and ask is their any other members on the site like me who works in the or aims to eventually work in the Film and Television industry

What i mean by this is their anyone who works or aims to work as a Cinematographer, Editor, Scriptwriter, Director, Sound engineer, Actor all that kind of stuff and if so what area or areas do you specialize in i think it would be interesting to see just how many people on the site there is like that or am i all by my lonesome

As for me the area's i specialize in are

  • Cinematography
  • Editing
  • Lighting
  • Directing
  • Set Design
  • Screenwriting

And i do a small bit of acting but i wouldn't consider it a specialty since i'm not an overly good actor

I'm a game/movie director, and screenwriter. Though recently I have leaned towards gaming, I still do film as well :)

I already work in the film industry, actually. Mostly just small jobs, and a lot of Production Assistant work, though I have experience in Grips/Electrics, Script Supervising/Continuity, Editing, and Assistant Production Coordinator (not only did the last one pay the best and last the longest, but it also sounds super impressive to say). I want to focus more on Screenwriting eventually, but I also really love Script Supervising, so yeah.

a Continuity I've had that one annoying me a fair bit lately for a Music Video i'm working as Cinematographer and DOP for i say I've taken about 200 pictures in the last two days of just sets making sure everything's in the same place as the original photo
