"I'm escaping this world

one step at a time

but all I need first

is a partner in crime" - J.H.

Laughter and posh lectures one with another. Gentlemen in suits and ladies in dresses. The environment felt elegant and suffocating in this venue, at least for the seven year old Giotto. He looked adorable in his little suit, at least that’s what everyone said as his father showed him off. His father was the chief of security of the city, wealthy, handsome, widower, everything and anything Giotto could care less of. His most popular trait was his hatred and fear against mutants, beings with supernatural abilities that could surpass animal and machine. The city both feared them and revered them, it was a dividing side. But being a small minority they would only stand out every so often in the news. What his father would never know was that his own son was a mutant with developing powers. Another rub to the head, causing his hair to get messed up caused Giotto to groan and sneak away, away from the strong smelling perfumes and out a door that led to the outside for fresh air, the back parking lot barely lit up by a street lamp and decorated with a few garbage cans. “Stupid party, stupid stuff, stupid dad.” Giotto muttered under his breath as he got his hands in his pockets and kicked around a rock. He hated social events like this. Not only was he ignored, he was used as an item to show off. “Stupid!” He kicked the rock again.

Giotto smiled and nudged at Jesse on the side. "Right, something in your eye." Giotto teased as he chuckled and wiped some of his own tears away. He took note of the fact that the children of the family seemed to have nicknames given by the parents. He liked that, he found it very sweet. Giotto looked over to the parents when they motioned that they had saved Miliani. "I'm Giotto, and this is Jesse. We helped him, but you should thank the doctor! He worked magic on Miliani. (Quite literately.)" Giotto said before thinking to himself that last phrase. He then pointed at Miliani's older brother. "I gave Gig-Gianni a bag filled with pain killers and bandages. If he bleeds it should be normal, he shouldn't be moving a lot or at least until his chest stops hurting." Giotto said, once again repeating what the doctor had said. He had no idea what else to say. Usually he had topics of conversations, but right now his mind was as blank as a piece of paper. Instead, he went behind Jesse and pushed him closer to the family. "He's the one who found him! You should totally thank Jesse here!"

Jesse rubbed his eyes even more furiously with his sleeve, and as soon as Giotto nudged him he shot a share and pout in his direction.

"Yeah, it was. There's so much damn dirt and dust in this city it gets into my eyes all the time...." He sniffled and looked down to Miliani. "You better not get hurt again kid." He couldn't help but blush at Giotto's comment about him finding Miliani.

Miliani shook his head, and tried to gently push his mother away who was kissing him all over his face.

"G-Giotto saved me too!" He said. "I was choking and be put a straw in my throat so I could breathe. I would have died if it wasn't for him."

The father and the mother listened intently to Giotto's words. They knew exactly what to do to ensure that their son gets better.

"I say you both are heroes. And you two are my biggest heroes for saving my little bambino. Please will you both come inside for a moment? I want to formally thank you and talk to you."

The mother smiled as she continued to kiss her son. "Would you both like to eat anything?"

Gianni crossed his arms and rolled his eyes. He hated when his parents got like that.

"Relax." He muttered. "They have stuff they have to do, I'm sure."

Giotto looked down, feeling embarrassed when she was called hero. Sure he had gone around back and forth with Jesse, convincing him for the two to become heroes, but he still felt embarrassed when he was considered one as Giotto. He had just done something to help. Nothing big or heroic. But he guessed for them, saving their beloved boy was something big for them. Giotto cleared his throat and got his hands behind his back, standing formally as he was used to as he smiled. "W-We just did what was good, sir, madam. I-I appreciate the offer, but I am still full from breakfast. I thank you, however, once more for the offer." Giotto said gently as he gave a small bow of his head. He turned to Jesse and then back at the family. Giotto got closer to Jesse, almost hiding behind. "Er, what do you say Jesse? You're my ride home, so I go where you go, yes?" Giotto said, muttering. He was not good at making decisions.

Jesse shrugged. He actually considered leaving with Giotto, however he really didn't want to be rude and dent the offer. Jesse was never really a well mannered person, however when it came to innocent elders such as Miliani's parents, he couldn't say no.

"Sure, I guess. We could stay for a few."

The father smiled and stood up. "Gratzi! I'll take you to the kitchen." Once they were all inside, tbe father had sent Gianni to take Miliani and settle him in his room. He sat down at the kitchen table with his wife. The kitchen was small, but it was very cozy and comfy. The father sighed and held his wife close.

"Gianni kept telling me, but I didn't believe him. The people who hurt my son... That was the group known as the Skulls sí?"

Giotto took a seat and couldn't help but to be in awe. He absolutely loved the kitchen and the aura it portrayed. It was small yet comfy and there were small decorative things here and there, being reminders of Italy. It felt warm. He loved it. Compared to his own kitchen which was...big, metal and cold. Giotto regained attention as the skulls were mentioned. He cleared his throat. "Y-Yes. The ones responsible are the Skulls. Miliani recognized them himself...sadly he is not the first victim and unless something is done he won't be the last. The Skulls have been targeting people all over the Bronze layer, trying to control it through fear one section at the time. They have been targeting both individuals and families. Apparently they have formed a system of protection which consists the people paying them a certain amount of money for them to be left alone." Giotto explained a bit thorough. Remembering his fathers words, the documents he had read over the last few days to inform himself more after the whole incident with Miliani. He wouldn't mention the mutant thing however, for respect of secrecy. "The skulls might end up coming by your family Bakery for the protection money sooner or later. I do suggest to be alert. They are strong in numbers...sorry that's all I know. Not even a single identity has been confirmed." He finally finished, feeling natural at this as it was meant to be his job to take over his father when he reached his age.

Edited by Stardustblade358

The father listened to Giotto's words intently. If wasn't until he was finished that the father didn't even introduce himself.

"Oh!" He said. How could he have been so rude? "I'm sorry, but I haven't even properly introduced myself. My name is Giovanni Capello, and this is my wife Erma Capello. I hail from my home country Italia and she from her country of Deutchland; Germany." The woman, Erma smiled softly and held her husband rightly. "It's a pleasure."

Giovanni took some time to think about what Giotto had said. He closed his eyes. "... They have been coming for a while." He said darkly. "We have been paying them with everything that I have. My sons often threaten them. They say if we pay them they won't lay a hand on my family. But that was a lie. They only take and still hurt."

Jesse was silent. He could only picture the image of Miliani laying as a bloody heap in the alleyway, with the chain of a bike around his neck. "... We will hunt them down..."

Giotto smiled at the family for a few seconds before he glanced over at Jesse. He seemed to be taking this much more personally than before. “(Well if we don’t do something, it won’t just be other families, it’ll be Mimi and Johnny in danger…Jesse…it’ll spread from the Bronze Layer to the Silver, and if it reaches the Gold Layer, it’ll become a massacre.)” Giotto thought with a small sigh. “As Jesse said, we’ve taken it upon ourselves to make it a personal business to track them down and hopefully stop them before their influence spreads more, and before their actions start becoming…lethal.” Giotto said. Heaven knows how many have actually been killed and just have not been reported out of fear that they would be next. “As far as we know the Skulls have no idea about Miliani’s condition. Therefor they might leave you alone for a while. But…” Giotto muttered. He searched in his pockets, taking out a piece of bubblegum wrap from last week, writing down his and Jesse’s numbers on them. “Um…if you happen to see anything of them, or hear anything, or something happens related to the Skulls, please give us a call, we’re going to make sure to take them down.” Giotto said as he handed over the phone numbers. Giotto slightly cleared his throat. “Jesse, let us leave them be for the day. They have some catching up to do with Miliani, I’m sure. Plus I…want to talk to you about something.” Giotto said, looking down as his voice slowly lowered its volume until it was barely hearable.

"Lethal?" Giovanni asked. His clenched his hand in a fist on the table. Erma sighed softly and stroked his hair.

"It's already lethal." Giovanni muttered. "They killed quite a few already. But the news never covers or because the Bronze Layer isn't important. Even when children are killed. You don't see stuff like this until someone important is killed like a cop. The Bronze Layer suffers in silence." There was a flash of fire in his eyes, but it quickly was extinguished with a small sigh as he took the wrapper. "Gratzi. Please, there has to be some way we can repay you. Come into my bakery tomorrow."

Jesse rubbed the back of his head. What Giovanni had said about suffering in silence was right. "Sure, we'll stop by... But now hotshot has a point. We should leave now. Holler when you need us."

-

Once they had got into the car, Jesse only started it up. "What is it...?" He asked. A part of him speculated that it might be about the scars. He didn't know. A part of him didn't even care. He felt so drained.

Giotto looked up at Jesse. He really seemed angry. But who wouldn't be? He seemed tired as well. "You know...It's no-..." Giotto started, but paused to think about it a bit more. Should he? Should he not? He trusted Jesse with all of his heart. He had to tell him...just in case. Yes. Just in case. "Er...remember when I asked if when someone you love hurts you he or she hurts you because they love you and they transmit their love through pain and that is why sometimes love hurts because they love you so much they end up hurting you for your own good?" Giotto asked, speaking so rapidly he had almost ran out of breath by the end of the sentence. He stared at Jesse, with almost fear in his eyes. He breathed and looked down. "Um...well..." Giotto stammered. He shook his head and suddenly started to strip down, taking off his jacket, and then his t-shirt. All over his chest, back, shoulders, and arms were covered in scars. Some were still red from recent inquiries, others were old, others were deep to them being repeatedly hit on there. Giotto gulped at Jesse. "Do dads do this because they love their sons?!"

The only words that described Jesse's expression was that of utter shock and a burst of crazed rage. Suddenly he grabbed Giotto's shoulders so tight that it probably caused bruises to be formed later. He began to shake Giotto violently. In Jesse's eyes was nothing but sadness, rage, and insanity.

"NO!" He screamed at Giotto. Jesse was two seconds away from just beating on him. Partially it was from stress that he had built up, and the incredible rage at how his best friend could be hurt in such a way. "WHY WOULD YOU LET HIM DO THAT TO YOU? ARE YOU CRAZY?! MY DAD DID THAT TO ME AND HE TRIED TO KILL ME!!!" There were small tears forming in his crazed eyes.

  • Author

Giotto definitely did not expect to be shook, and did not expect the strong reaction that Jesse gave out. The whole sudden rage scared the living hell out of Giotto, his heart beating fast in fear as he looked up at Jesse with fear in his own eyes. The sudden rage just seemed...all to familiar. He wanted to shrink, to disappear. "Jesse...you're scaring me...it hurts me...please..." Giotto whispered as he felt his own body shake. He looked up at Jesse, scared to speak up. "...he...does it...because it helps?...he loves me and he doesn't want me to make mistakes so he does it so I learn to not make mistakes...he loves me that's why he does it...he's so stressed and sometimes I do something wrong so he snaps, but it's my fault, so there's nothing bad, he doesn't try to kill me he just gets upset and he wants me to learn...I'm sorry if I upset you I just wanted to show you because I trust you and..." Giotto muttered, almost whispering as he sniffled, tears falling down his cheeks. "I'm sorry...I didn't meant to upset you...I just was a bit confused and wanted to ask you but I didn't know it would upset you I'm sorry Jesse I won't mention it again please don't hurt me, please don't stop being my friend!...I just thought...you needed to know...since we're friends...I didn't tell you before because Johnny was around and I didn't want him to get angry and scare mimi, I won't show you my scars again I'm sorry." Giotto muttered, quickly picking up his shirt to get it on.

Jesse only raged on. He continued to scream at Giotto. He shook him harder as well. He looked at every scar, and the more scars he saw the more or fueled this sudden rage. "It doesn't help you f****** dips***! You're so f****** stupid! I'm going to kill him!!!" He was about to slam on the gas pedal, until he started to hear Giotto's cries to stop. It wasn't until then when he finally realized what he was doing. He raised his fist as if he was going to punch Giotto, until he suddenly swung it around to slam it right into the car door. Jesse completely let go of Giotto and went silent. He stared right at the road and clutched at the steering wheel so hard his knuckles turned white.

"...I'm sorry." He muttered, trying his best to not think about it. He was two seconds away from loosing his mind. He glanced over at his best friend and saw the terror in his eyes. It was then that he felt the guilt. He sighed softly and slowly began to drive the car. "I will never hurt you..." Jesse muttered once more. "And I will always be your friend. Thank you for showing me your scars. Just don't hide stuff like that from me okay? Now... Just cheer up, please. Smile. I'm gonna take ya somewhere that ya gonna like."

Giotto made a mental note as he unconsciously backed his entire body against the car door: Seeing Jesse angry was equally as scary as seeing his own father angry, and he was much stronger than usual when he was. He wondered which one was scariest, but he then decided he didn't wish to know. The fact that he flinched when Jesse raised his fist made Giotto want to simply not find out the hard way nor the easy way. Giotto felt his shoulders slightly, the spots where he was hold onto feeling numb. He quickly got his shirt and jacket on, fixing himself on the seat and pulling his seat belt on as well. He wiped tears away from his eyes, straightening himself up. "I'm sorry for not telling you earlier. I thought it wasn't something bad. But it's starting to hurt more. I didn't want to leave you in the dark in case...things got out of control one day...I'm really sorry." Giotto muttered. Though he wasn't sure who he was saying sorry to. To Jesse, or to himself. He did feel guilty for making Jesse upset. That wasn't his intention at all. There were no therapist, there was no servants he could talk to about it. He could only just let it go and move on. Jesse was the only person he felt he could let out such secrets. He was his only friend in this entire world. "...please don't tell anyone." Giotto finally added before taking a deep breath, his tears stopping and his posture fixed, looking back to normal as he had practiced how to hide sadness and anguish within moments. "Where are we going, though?"

"I'm not going to tell anyone." Jesse muttered darkly as he drove. He continued to try to just forget about everything that just happened, lest he freak out once more. He tried breathing to calm him down. His first thought was to drive over to Giotto's house and bash his father's head in with a baseball bat. But no, he wasn't going to do that. "I'm not mad. If that happens again come to my place and tell me. Now just drop it." He turned on the radio to a random rap station. It wasn't that he didn't care what happened to Giotto, he just needed to calm himself down before he did something insane. He didn't even bother answering Giotto's question. Instead he just continued to drive, all while listening to the words of Eminem. After what felt like forever on the road, Jesse pulled up to a empty street. Be parked right infront of an alleyway where a big man was standing at the end. Jesse got out.

"Don't be scared." Jesse said. "Keep your cool. You wanted to know where I found the doctor right? Well I'm gonna show you."

  • Author

Giotto gave a nod and dropped the subject. The entire drive was quiet between the two, the only sound being that of the car and of the radio with this rap music. Once they reached their destination, and Jesse inquired that it was the place where he had found the doctor, Giotto had forgotten all about the incident, now intrigued. "Oh?" He asked, stepping out of the car and looking down the alleyway. An alleyway with a large scary man at the end of it? If this wasn't suspicious then Giotto had no idea what it was. However by this point he had gotten used to suspicious. He started to learn that appearances were extremely deceiving. "Right...I'll behave, Jesse." Giotto assured, walking next to Jesse down the alleyway and right up to the big man. Giotto glanced at him with eyes full of curiosity before lowering his head slightly. "G...Good afternoon..."He murmured, his voice barely heard. Was this a secret organization, like the ones in the movies? Possibly, after all that he had seen it wasn't impossible anymore.

Jesse nodded. "Good." He led Giotto right into the alleyway to the giant man. The man was basically twice their size put together. He must have been seven feet. It was evident by his body structure that he must workout quite often. He stared Giotto down with a hard gaze that was dark enough to eclipse the sun.

"Are you two eighteen or older?" He asked with a voice as deep as an abyss.

Jesse crossed his arms and held Giotto close.

"We look like we're eighteen." Jesse replied. They had a few years ago. The man slowly nodded, and stepped to the side to reveal a steel door. He knocked on it twice and a little eye compartment opened up to reveal a set of eyes from the other side.

"Password?" The person on the other side asked.

"Haven." Jesse replied. The door open, and a man with slick back black hair in a tux welcomed them inside.

Once inside, there was music blasting. The man led Jesse and Giotto down a long flight down stairs into a underground dance club. There were people dancing on the dance floor to the DJ, playing pool, poker, or grabbing a drink at the bar or eating. Some were even dueling one another to a fight off to the side were people were betting on who they thought were going to win. It was interesting to note that many of them were mutants just by appearance alone; some had features that weren't human. Some were also using their abilities to entertain each other. The man smiled.

"Enjoy your stay at The Garden of Eden, or Eden for short. A safe haven for mutants and friends of mutants."

Giotto stepped into the place, his eyes widening. Mutants and humans, playing and having a good time together. The place was lively and more of the type of things that Giotto could actually have fun in. No pish posh or talks about the economy, but shots and games and friends! This is where they were. Where they gathered. Were his father to find this place...no. That would never happen. He had a whole city to worry about. This was truly an Eden. "H...this is...I..." He was speechless, needless to say. In a good way too. "I can't even...Jesse...this place...it's beautiful." Giotto said, smiling as his face flushed red in excitement, his heart was at the verge of jumping out through his throat. He then squealed, jumping up and down. "Can we stay a little bit can we can we?!~" Giotto asked. He didn't even waited for Jesse's answer, he just bolted from his spot further into the place. Not to mention there were a lot of electronics around. He could feel his fingertips buzzing with energy, sensing every piece from his spot. The music made his body move involuntary to the beat. He would be having a bit of fun.

Jesse smiled as he saw Giotto's reaction to the place. He expected such excitement from his friend. He imagined it was like being a little kid in the candy store for Giotto. Jesse didn't even bother going after Giotto as he ran off; he decided to let the kid explore and have some fun. In the meantime he decided to talk to some of the other mutants there. "Have fun, hotshot." Jesse said with a smile.

On the dance floor, everyone was jumping up and down to the beat. The DJ was dancing as well and was taking requests for songs. As Giotto was dancing, a familiar voice called to him.

"Hey handsome!" Came the voice of the woman known as beauty. She was sitting at the bar next to Giotto. She waved at him, her snow white hair resting on her back. She motioned for him to come over.

Giotto danced like the dork he was, enjoying his time as he heard the familiar voice. It was the lady that helped them get Miliani to the doctor. "Ah!" Giotto hurried over, walking up to her. "Hello, you're the one that helped us the other day. Thank you very much, miss." Giotto said as he gave a small bow. He looked around smiling. "This place is beautiful. I would've never guessed a place like this could exist. Mutants can be themselves and not harm anyone or be harmed." Giotto said, still breathless and jumpy over the place. He gave a twirl, looking around before turning back to Beauty. "You and the doctor are friends?...or are you two husband and wife?" Giotto asked rather excitedly. For a moment he did think the two could make a cute couple. "Are you a mutant too?"

Beauty chuckled as she watched Giotto enjoy himself. He didn't think someone could have so much fun, however she somewhat expected as much from Giotto. She could tell Giotto had a pure innocent heart.

"You're welcome. Mutants love this place, and humans too. Here we can all have fun together and not worry." Upon the mention of her and the doctor's relationship, Beauty appeared to be somewhat saddened by it, however after a moment this sadness dissapeared. "Oh! It's complicated." She decided to not to any further. She was going to say something else when the bartender placed a drink infront of her.

"One Full Moom with an extra cherry in it!" He proclaimed, very proud of his work. "That'll be fifteen dollars."

Beauty frowned as she checked her wallet. "But I only have ten. I spent the rest of my money on bets. Can I pay you back the five later?"

The man sighed and crossed his arms. "I would like to but I'll get in trouble... Sorry miss, I can't give you the drink."

Beauty shook her head. Suddenly she leaned forward and stroked the man's chin. "Oh come on.... It's okay... Let me give you the five later." He eyes gleamed in the light.

The man's eyes suddenly looked hazy, as if he had been drugged or enchanted. "Yes miss..." He muttered softly. With that, he walked away.

Beauty leaned back in her chair and rubbed the back of her head. "And from that, yeah. I'm a mutant. I can manipulate men into making them do what I want like I just did on that bartender. My stupid brother calls it 'Jedi-Mindtrick." She grinned and touched Giotto's hand. "Don't worry I'll give him the five back later. And I won't use my powers on you. I promise."

Giotto watched in awe. He hadn't seen a trick like that before. At least, a power like that. "It's amazing. That can help you get out of so many bad situations!" Giotto said as he mentally analyzed the power. It was truly like something out of a star wars movie, only that it affected the opposite gender. "My powers aren't that good to get me out of physical situations, I think. I'm able to talk and control anything that has an electric charge or is charged by electricity. As long as there's electricity I can use it. Um..." Giotto hummed as he looked around for an example. He glance at the gleaming lights of the dancefloor. "Those." He said. He extended his arm, concentrating as the lights started to change on his command. Blue blue red red and just as suddenly they started to go all out with multiple colors, spinning as lights of all colors started to form rainbows and so on. As Giotto lowered his arm, the lights came back to their normal settings. "It's not much." He said. He turned curiously. "You said you had a brother. Can I meet him? Is he here?"

Beauty raised an eyebrow in delight as she saw Giotto's power. She seen plenty of abilities in her life but never one such as interesting and as wonderful as Giotto's. It was both powerful and beautiful. The partiers on the dance floor was unfazed by the sudden change in the lights. Actually it made everyone scream and excitement and dance even more and jump even higher. The DJ seemed to notice Giotto was the one behind the tampering, and he gave Giotto a thumbs up for getting the crowd even more excited. Beauty laughed at the scene and looked to Giotto. She chuckled softly at the question of her brother.

"My brother?" She asked. "Usually he's here but not tonight. He's either working or bothering Stiles, I bet. His name is Lèon. I don't know if you want to meet him though. He's annoying and a giant pest sometimes."

(FEMALE PRUSSIA!)

Giotto smiled at the DJ, and nodded at Beauty. "Understood. Though he can't be that bad. Siblings are siblings after all." Giotto said as he glanced around, noting Jesse somewhere in the crowed. He turned to Beauty and gave a small bow. "Excuse me then, miss. I think I'll be annoying at my friend now. Thank you for the chat." Giotto said in his usual polite manner before waving and making his way over to Jesse. He was talking to other people. Giotto couldn't help but to awe internally at how cool Jesse looked. He could easily be a leader of a band or of a group of superheroes by how cool he looked, especially underneath the lights where the contrast was high. Giotto walked up to Jesse. "Excuse me," Giotto said politely, before taking Jesse's hand. "Jesse, let's dance!" Giotto asked. Before Jesse could complain, he was dragged by Giotto to the dance floor. He gave him no chance as he started to dance with him to the rhythm of the music. Surprisingly, Giotto was able to keep up with the rhythm, moving his feet at a calculated pace along with his body, moving Jesse with him. "Come on Jesse! Mimi's going to one day ask you to dance with her, you better get practicing!" Giotto said laughing. He even moved in a way where he spun while still holding to Jesse's hand.

(Hell yeah she's like my favorite out of all the Fem! Countries LOL Prussia is awesome! I used to RP Hetalia all the time.)

Beauty happily accepted Giotto's excuse. She was amazed and happy at how much of a gentleman Giotto was, however it wasn't that shocking considering how Giotto must have been raised in the Gold Layer. Being from the more ghetto area of the Bronze Layer, it was hard to come across a man with just a pinch of manners. "Ahh wait!" Beauty said. She grabbed Giotto before he left, and kissed him in the cheek. "Thank you for showing me your power. It's amazing." With that, she let Giotto go and began to drink her drink.

Jesse meanwhile wasn't expecting Giotto's arrival and sudden urge to dance. Jesse was talking to some boys and playing pool when Giotto had dragged him off. He stumbled onto the dance floor and pouted like a little boy. He looked around at the group around him and sighed softly. He really didn't dance. "Don't get ahead of yourself hotshot!" Jesse blushed and began to move his body around according to the beat. He just really didn't know what to do.

  • Author

Giotto smiled as he watched Jesse at least try. He was such a great friend. "Come on~ You have to admit it's fun~" Giotto said with a chuckle as he danced. He wasn't much of a dancer himself, but he had to admit it was very fun. "If you have a girlfriend you'll have to know how to take a few steps without stepping on her toes too! Girls love to dance, usually! Wouldn't want your first dance with a lucky lady be your last, right Jesse?" Giotto teased as he then gave Jesse a twirl, spinning with him as he moved to the beat. This truly could be Eden. No bad. No good. Just neutral as both humans and mutants got along and everyone came in for the same reason; to have fun. "Jesse, for my birthday, would you like to play pool with me? I'd love it if you could teach me a trick or two. Those sticks are huge, though! I'm afraid I'd smack people around with them just trying to get them around the white ball!" Giotto said with a giggle. If he ever had any energy, he had it now, his feet moving quickly as the lights displayed their brilliant colors. "Jesse. I think I want to become a doctor, or a mayor some day. I want to be able to create a place like this, where mutants and people can get along, but much bigger...I'll make us a city where we can all live together!" Giotto said. Of course, this was just wish thinking. But Giotto truly hoped that maybe there could be a chance for change. Mutants weren't bad. They were just different. He wanted the world to know that more. But he could only do so much. Then something popped into his mind. "Hey Jesse, you wouldn't know what time it is?"
