If you are like me and where excited for the Silent Hills game that was teased in the P.T. game that was released a few years ago guess what the game is dead and is not going to happen, don't believe me? Well guess what it came straight from Guillermo Del Toros mouth Posted Image

So yeah that kind of sucks I was actually excited for this game but if you haven't already you can still download P.T. that will still be available until April 29th and even if you don't have a PS4 but plan to get one at some point then just get it on the store online so yeah this kinda of sucks.

Silent Hills was going to be a game directed by Guillermo del Toro as well as Hideo Kojima and published by Konami

Well, that's upsetting. I was really wanted to get that game.

What a waste of potential. They were gonna do lots of cash... not just because del Toro was working on it, but also because Normus Redus was the main character.

More importantly it was also Kojima working on it.

DAMN YOU KONAMI!!!

Seriously though. What the hell are they thinking? Don't they realize that removing Kojima is like removing their greatest asset left?

First it was Silent Hill, then it was Casltevania, now it's MGS and on top of that they basically canceled a good SH reboot. If they think they will be able to stand on PES alone they're gonna get a wake up call very soon.

Oh btw, Hideo Kojima didn't work on Silent Hill games in the past, this was to be his first.

ALL BECAUSE KONAMI HAD TO BE A DICK TO KOJIMA.

That is a real shame.

What the hell are Konami even doing lately :l

Probably wasting time and money on non-gaming related things. Soon enough, they'll be the next Sega.

Just because I'm a bit of a cynical asshole, can you provide a source better than the picture you posted? Possibly more information on why or how?

Riding the cashflow that they are choking out of Yugioh, basically. They ban good cards for no reason then introduce even more powerful and expensive cards to drain wallets now a days out of their loyal fans, and they assume that will keep them afloat. But Yugioh is DANGEROUSLY close to becoming too expensive a hobby to be worthwhile, so basically they're beating a zombie horse to death.

I think Metal Gear Solid V and the inevitable Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 are the only games in the pipeline from them this year. Unless they pull another Castlevania out their butt at E3. They are a shadow of their former selves sadly.

*Falls to floor, staring immensely at ground*

It can't be... Why... Just why, this was the horror game that I was going to shove in the faces of all those FNAF players. Del toro why, Kojima... WHY! KOOOOONAMIIIIII!!

Really? I was super stoked for an actually scary survival horror game.

Just Google in Silent Hills and it's like the whole first page about it not happening, even now the actor Norman Reedus says that it isn't happening now

Was never going to be able to play it myself since I don't have a PS4, but man did that game have HUGE potential. It's a shame. :c
