I'm trying to put a gif in my profile page (about me page) but I just get something like this:

What do I need to addchange to allow it to appear as an imagegif?

1. copy the image url [make sure it isn't hyperlinked. You just need the plain text url]

2. add [ img ] then whatever the url is , then [ /img ] between them. (delete the spaces between the bracket and the img)

 

alternatively, search for the tiny picture icon in the toolbar in the actual edity box...

You needed to copy directly the link from the image. You right click it and it should appear an option of the likes of " Copy URL "

 

 

You do that, you click that panel with the image above, and you paste it. If the link isn't working, just upload it to imgur, and do what I told you.
