Taking place 6 months after the recent events of Pixels, teenagers of different ages with pixelated creatures they call "Pixel Buddies" are brought into a chaotic event. Because of a Pixel blocked being left behind after the invasion and was brought into an arcade building thanks to one of the kids, arcade games from all around have come to life and have started to invade! Now it's up to the kids and Pixel Buddies to end this once and for all!-Chris and Donkey Kong Junior-"Aww, you beat me again!" Chris said, playing Super Smash Bros. for 3DS against his Pixel Buddy, Donkey Kong Jr. who was laughing because he won. They were sitting on the sidewalk in front of their home, which was a short 2-Story house. On the game, DK Jr. had beat Chris's Luigi with his Donkey Kong. "Yay! Papa wins!" Donkey Kong Jr. yelled out, beating his chest. "Hey, careful with that 3DS Junior. We only have that other one." Chris said, then chuckled and shook his head making his short brown hair fly through the air a little. He didn't mind DK Junior winning. He was just a pixelated monkey who is the son of an Ape who climbed all the way to the top of a building carrying a woman and then got captured by that woman's boyfriend, but was saved and then broke into a greenhouse releasing all types of bugs.....Yeah. He's Donkey Kong's son alright. Chris was actually glad to have a buddy like him. He put his hands on his knees and then got up. "Come on, DK Junior. Let's get ready so we can get to the arcade with the others." The 15 year old said, closing his 3DS and walking back to the house. "Okay!" Junior eagerly said. The little strong monkey wearing a undershirt with the letter "J" on it ran up to catch up to Chris.-Tyler and Roll-Tyler, a black, athletic, 14 1/2 year old was just laying on his couch reading a magazine on the latest in celebrity news. It was rare because....Well....He never did that! Probably because he was bored at the moment. During his reading, the blonde, robotic, pixelated girl named Roll was just sweeping the floor with her broom, humming happily. She would do this kind of thing all the time because she really likes to clean! A lot! She was smiling and sweeping until her broom hit the couch. She tapped Tyler on the shoulder. "Tyler? Could you get off the couch for a moment?" She asked."Why?" Tyler said, still reading. "Because I need to clean under there! Please?" Roll asked nicely. "But I don't want to leave! This couch is comfy. And there is nothing you can say that will make me move!" Tyler stated,turning the page. Roll took a deep breath. "Okay. Have it your way." She said. She calmly walked away. Then after moments, came back with a vacuum cleaner, came behind the couch, and just lifted the couch with her one hand! Tyler finally stopped reading and looked down. "Roll! Wh-What are you doing?""It's a win-win! You get to stay on the couch and I get to clean under here!" She said, turning on the vacuum cleaner, still holding the couch with one hand. "And how long is this going to be?" Tyler yelled over the vacuum's noise. "Ohh...About a while!" She replied yelling. Tyler laid back on couch, worried. But this was just the only pet peeve he had against living with Roll. She will clean anything immediately, even him!....But that's another story. He didn't expect that when he touched the Q-Bert kid with that Mega Man cartridge, it would transform into Roll. At first, he was pleased with. But slowly started to get annoyed, but not too annoying. She was more like a sister than a Pixel Buddy.

Once they got back, Ben sat down right on one of the logs. He took a stick and began to dig right I the dirt for some worms. Sonic sat right next to him as well and began to help him after he got his own twig. In only a few seconds they already found a few worms, and they both watched as the worms squirmed and slithered around. It was a simple, yet fun thing to do.

Chris smiled. Again, he was happy for Ben that he could have some fun in the forest. He sat down next to Ben and Sonic, keeping an eye on them. He always wondered. How did Benjamin make the decision of Sonic the Hedgehog? Chris wasn't against it, but just what was the reason? Then again, Sonic was pretty big Video Game wise plus, other than his skills and abilities, him and Ben are just bonded eternally. They just understand each other. But now out of thought, Chris looked around. DK Junior was standing on a tree, seemingly staring at something. This was....Odd. Junior was hardly ever still unless he was asleep. And doubting the fact that Junior somehow learned to sleep with his eyes open, Chris stood up and walked towards the tree Donkey Kong Junior was on. "What 'cha looking at Junior?" Chris asked.

"I...I thinks I sense something." Junior said. Then...His pixelated body started to light up a little.

"Woah....That hasn't happened before..." Chris exclaimed.

Benjamin looked up, noticing Chris walk over to were Junior was. What could have been the problem? He looked to Sonic who in turned shrugged. Sonic sped up and jumped on the branches to meet up with Junior. Sonic shrugged and tapped Junior's shoulder with concern written all over his face. "...?"

Junior looked at Sonic once he was tapped on the shoulder. "I feel something coming from that way." Junior pointed to the direction where he "sensed" something, which was forward. "Come on!" Junior then jumped off the branch and onto another, then began to swing on each one. "Junior! Wait!" Chris called out and grabbed Ben's hand. "We gotta follow him!" Chris said before running after Junior with Ben.

 

After lots of running, for Junior, a bit of swinging, the group found themselves somewhere deep in the forest. There was an open circular spot that was surrounded by trees...And Junior was standing in the middle, looking down at something.

"Junior....What are you looking at?" Chris asked concerned, walking towards Junior. "I don't know..." Junior answered. What the two of them saw was....A small block. But it wasn't just a block. It seemed....like light. Almost pixelated. "What is this?" Chris asked, kneeling down to take a closer look.

Ben wasn't expecting the sudden run. He ironically wasn't a huge running fan, only ever running with Sonic. He didn't have much endurance for it either as he was panting once they got to the block. Ben tilted his head. What could it be?

 

Sonic suddenly grinned. Had to run? Perfect. Sonic already sped right ahead, getting to the block instantly. Sonic shrugged in regards to Chris' question and decided to go and have a look. He walked right over to the block and went to touch it.

Once Sonic touched the block, it reacted by jumping up and landing back down, which surprised Junior, causing him to step back. "That's....Unusual." Chris commented.

What could this block be? It's unlike anything they've seen before! It had some light surrounding it, it could move by itself....Nothing like it. "I am just baffled by this..." Chris said. The block then started to move a little by rolling. Then started to do small jumps! Junior then caught it with both of his hands, wondering what it could be.

"What should we do with it?" Junior asked.

Sonic shrugged. If anything it looked like a fun new toy! He zoomed over to Junior and went to touch it again.

Meanwhile Benjamin tugged on Chris' sleeve. He wrote some words on his notepad and showed it to Chris.

'It looks like those Pixel blocks.' It read. 'I saw them on TV.'

"Hey....I think you might be right Ben." Chris said, remembering the invasion. To him, it was pretty epic. All those characters in action. So awesome...But back to the point at hand, what are they going to do with it? And why was it here? All these questions left unanswered at this moment. All of it was pretty strange and sudden. "Well, we can't leave it here. Someone else might find it and who knows what might happen then." Chris said. Hearing that, Junior grabbed the block and walked towards Chris and Ben, while it was moving bit by bit inside. "Who will keep it then?" Junior asked. "Good question....Hmmm..." Chris sat down, put his hand on his chin and thought about this. While he looked around on the ground and found a jar and a lid separated, but next to each. "Ah!" Chris reached for the jar and lid, then held it out. "Put it in this, Junior."

"Okay-Dokey!" Junior said, with the block moving in his hands. He quickly put the block in and Chris closed it with the lid. The block moved from side to side, but couldn't get out. "This way we can keep it in place and decide who gets to keep this block." Chris said. "I should call Tyler and Roll about this too."

Sonic immediately raised his hand. The idea of having the block sounded great. It would be like a brand new toy. Benjamin however sighed and patted Sonic's shoulder. He didn't really think it was a good idea.

'Shouldn't we tell a grown-up about this?' He wrote in the notebook. 'I don't think this is a good idea if any of us keeps it... It could be dangerous...'

As Chris and Junior read Ben's notepad....He had a point. If it somehow slips out of sight, it could cause trouble. "Hmm...." Chris had to think it over again. Of course, the adults might freak out about this thing and it might get worse. What to do....

"You know what? I know one guy that would be more than happy to keep an eye on the block. I'll take it to him later." Chris said holding the jar with the block in it. Then he remembered. The arcade hangout. "Oh! I just remembered! Junior, could you hold this for me?" Chris handed Junior the jar and took out his phone and dialed in a number.

"Hello?" It was Roll that answered.

"Hi Roll! Hey um, what are you doing now?"

"Oh, you know, cleaning. Specifically Tyler." Tyler could be heard slightly in the background trying yell to Roll, "No!"

"Wait, what?"

"I'm giving Tyler a bath."

Chris couldn't help but snicker. He knew for Tyler this had to be embarrassing. "Anyways, um....*slightly snickers* Are you and Tyler going to be at the arcade soon?"

"Yeah, we'll be there!"

"Okay then. See you there. Bye."

"Bye-Bye!"

As Chris hung up, he still snickered. "What's so funny?" Junior asked. "'I...I shouldn't tell you." Chris said.

Sonic pouted and tapped his foot impatiently as he trotted right over to Junior. He held out his hands for the jar. Sonic wanted to be the one to hold it. It was the perfect new toy to mess with.

Meanwhile Ben looked down and sighed. This was not going to end well. At all. Hopefully whatever happens he won't get in trouble. The last thing he wanted was to be grounded again. He got grounded enough time with all the trouble Sonic got him into. Then again he got himself into plenty of trouble on his own.

'I have a bad feeling about this...' He wrote in the book.

Junior shook his head no to Sonic. As much as Sonic wanted to have fun all the time, he was a unintentional trouble-maker. "Sorry sonic. I can't do that." Junior said, holding the jar as close to himself as possible. "Look, as long as none of us let it out, we have nothing to worry about." Chris said as Junior handed him the jar. "Come on, let's get out of here." Chris said before walking with Ben. "It'll be fine...Trust me." Chris did respect Ben's worry about all of this, but as long as everything goes the way it should, what could possibly go wrong?

Sonic pouted and plopped himself to the ground. He crossed his arms. Why did his fun always had to get ruined? He only wanted to play with the stupid block. When everyone began to walk, Sonic fan right up to Benjamin and began to walk with him while holding Benjamin's right hand.

Ben sighed softly and nodded while he began to walk with Chris again. Whatever happens, happens he guessed. He gripped Chris' right hand tightly with his left. What could possibly go wrong? A lot of things.

As they made it back to the main part of the forest, Chris did try his best to hide the jar from the other kids. First, bringing it behind his back. It worked for a little bit, but he knew it would soon be found. After that, he thought of putting it in his shirt. But how obvious would that be? So, in his final decision, was to put it in Junior's shirt. It wouldn't be as obvious since Junior stayed low most of the time and not many kids would see it. It was, in a way, perfect.

"What do you sat we take visit to the arcade?" Chris suggested.

Benjamin read Chris' lips. The arcade... He loved going to the arcade. Especially with Sonic. Sonic always loved watching Ben play the Sonic games. Sometimes Benjamin wished he could hear all the sounds the arcade has to offer, but he got over it. Just seeing the amazing visuals made it all the more enjoyable. With a smile and a nod, Benjamin happily agreed. Sonic jumped up in agreement as well. "~!"

"Okay then! I'll go get my quarters and we'll be ready to go!" Chris said, excited as well. "Junior, do you mind taking Ben and Sonic to the arcade across the street while I run home real quick?" Chris asked DK Junior. "Of course Chris!" Junior replied. With that, Chris nodded and ran out, heading home while Junior stayed with Ben and Sonic, walking them out of the forest and to the arcade, still having the jar in his shirt. "Hopefully Tyler and Roll will be there soon!" Junior also said while walking with Ben and Sonic. Junior loved going to the arcade as much as the others did. In fact, going to the arcade and loving it was the main thing they all had in common! Each kid had a special admiring to the arcade and it's games. Chris's specialty was platforming and side scrolling while Tyler's was action and shooting.

Benjamin happily walked along with Sonic right next to him. He reached into his brown sweater to take out his necklace; a simple shoelace wrapped around his neck with a quarter on it. The quarter was the first one he got for the arcade when it opened. He decided to save it for good luck. Sonic smiled and hoped right along. He couldn't wait to get his hands on the arcade games again.

"Come on....Where are they?" Chris murmured as he was looking through the drawers in his room, searching for his quarters. He had always kept them in one of drawers. But now they weren't in any of them! Where could they be? It couldn't be that hard to find a half-way filled zipped bag containing quarters inside? Well, it seemed to take 7 minutes of his time. "Trying to find your quarters Chris?" His mother calling from downstairs, Brittany. She had long blonde hair, blue eyes, looking like she in her 20s, but was actually 34! She was wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans, and green shoes. "Yeah mom! Have you seen them?" Chris yelled out coming downstairs. And that's when he saw his bag of quarters on a small table in the living room with his mother sitting by it in a chair. "You left it here the last time." She said. "Oh yeah...Hehehe..."  He replied. Then Chris quickly went downstairs, grabbed the bag, gave his mother a quick hug, and ran off. "Thanks mom!" He called out before running out. "Anytime." She replied.

 

 

-Junior, Tyler, and Roll-

 

After some time walking, stopping at just a few blocks from the arcade, a girl was waving to them next to a familiar boy. It was no doubt about it....

"Hey, it's Roll and Tyler!" Junior said.

"Hey guys!" Roll called out, smiling happily.

Benjamin's face brightened once he sad Roll's face. She was closest to his age and he enjoyed every moment spent with her. He immediately went up to her with a smile.

'Hey Roll!' He signed. He also bid hello to Tyler.

Sonic was also very happy to see the two new friends. He sped up right to Roll and Tyler to give a big thumbs up.

Tyler gave a thumbs up back to Sonic and Ben and Junior with a grin. "Good to see you three." Tyler greeted.

Roll gave Benjamin a quick hug and smiled back. She really did like Ben a lot as a friend. Maybe more....But that would be different. "Hee hee!" She giggled. "Hey Junior, where's Chris? You and him are like, rarely separated." Tyler asked.

"Oh, he's close by." Junior replied. "What makes you say that?" Tyler asked. "Because he's running down the block behind you with his bag!" Junior answered, pointing towards Tyler which made him turn around to see Chris running towards them. "Sorry I'm a bit late!" Chris said to the others, then came to a stop to join the group. "It took a little longer to find these. Heh heh heh!" He held up his bag of quarters.

Benjamin was excited to see the quarters. He went right up to Chris and wrote in his notebook.

'Can I have some please?' It read. Meanwhile Sonic had an opposite reaction. He zoomed right up to Chris and began to jump up and down, trying to nab a few quarters. Despite being practically made for each other, Sonic and Benjamin were different in many ways.

Chris chuckled at Sonic's reaction. He stayed true to his speed. When he wants something, he'll want it now. "Sure thing, Ben." Chris said, opening his bag and taking out some quarters, almost a handful! He gave that amount Ben and that same amount to Sonic. "You need some Tyler?" Chris asked.

Tyler shook his head. "Nah bro, keep 'em. I've a pocket full of those already." He said. "Well, now that that's taken care of, are we ready to go?" Roll asked. "You bet!" Tyler responded.

"Yeah! Yeah! Let's go!" Junior said, jumping up and down.

As soon as Sonic grabbed some, he immediately dragged Benjamin to the nearest Sonic the Hedgehog cabinet. He absolutely loved to watch Ben play his games. SuperSega Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic the Fighters were Sonic's absolute favorites.

Benjamin sighed softly. There he goes again. Hopefully he could sneak a few rounds of Megaman before the day was over. Or Street Fighter. That was fun too.

"Of course....There he goes again...Hah hah hah hah!" Roll commented on Sonic. "Come on! Let's go too!" Roll grabbed Tyler's hand as well as dragging him into the arcade. Specifically to the nearest Megaman game. "Hey Roll! Slow down!" Tyler yelled out to Roll. "Sorry! Can't hear you! Games are being played!"

 

"Heh! Come on, Junior. Let's go too." Chris said, simply walking in with Junior. The whole place was jam packed as always. Kids and teens all around playing different games. Donkey Kong, Q*Bert, Frogger, Mario Bros., Asteroid, Mappy, Defender, and that's just to name a few! Of course, Chris's go-to is Donkey Kong Jr. cause he played the HECK out of that game. He was almost a master at it! Getting almost, just barely to 150,000 points!! Chris put his quarter in the cabinet, the starting theme went on, then was playing time. "Monkey Muscle!" Junior yelled out.

 

Tyler, on the other hand, played Galaga, His most favorite game in like....ALL TIME. He'll keep playing and playing and playing and playing and playing and playing and playing without having a care in the world!......While playing. But right now, he was stuck playing Mega Man Fighters saving Roll as Mega Man......Fantastic. But it wasn't all bad. Roll was happy. At least. "You would save me if I was in danger, right? Right Tyler?" She asked with a smile.

"Eeyup! Of course. That's what I'll!" Tyler said. "....If it doesn't involve me getting killed...." He also mumbled while playing.

Meanwhile Benjamin was playing Sonic the Fighters for the umpteenth time. Every time he played at the arcade he would play this game. Sometimes because Sonic was absolutely excited to watch him play. Luckily there was another cabinet so Sonic could join in the action as well. Benjamin played as Sonic, and Sonic as Tails. They always had equal wins to boot. Sonic leaped up in the air as he watched Benjamin get yet another Chaos Emerald by defeating Fang the Sniper.

"~!" He flashed a huge thumbs up, with Benjamin just rubbing the back of his head with a smile.
