Taking place 6 months after the recent events of Pixels, teenagers of different ages with pixelated creatures they call "Pixel Buddies" are brought into a chaotic event. Because of a Pixel blocked being left behind after the invasion and was brought into an arcade building thanks to one of the kids, arcade games from all around have come to life and have started to invade! Now it's up to the kids and Pixel Buddies to end this once and for all!-Chris and Donkey Kong Junior-"Aww, you beat me again!" Chris said, playing Super Smash Bros. for 3DS against his Pixel Buddy, Donkey Kong Jr. who was laughing because he won. They were sitting on the sidewalk in front of their home, which was a short 2-Story house. On the game, DK Jr. had beat Chris's Luigi with his Donkey Kong. "Yay! Papa wins!" Donkey Kong Jr. yelled out, beating his chest. "Hey, careful with that 3DS Junior. We only have that other one." Chris said, then chuckled and shook his head making his short brown hair fly through the air a little. He didn't mind DK Junior winning. He was just a pixelated monkey who is the son of an Ape who climbed all the way to the top of a building carrying a woman and then got captured by that woman's boyfriend, but was saved and then broke into a greenhouse releasing all types of bugs.....Yeah. He's Donkey Kong's son alright. Chris was actually glad to have a buddy like him. He put his hands on his knees and then got up. "Come on, DK Junior. Let's get ready so we can get to the arcade with the others." The 15 year old said, closing his 3DS and walking back to the house. "Okay!" Junior eagerly said. The little strong monkey wearing a undershirt with the letter "J" on it ran up to catch up to Chris.-Tyler and Roll-Tyler, a black, athletic, 14 1/2 year old was just laying on his couch reading a magazine on the latest in celebrity news. It was rare because....Well....He never did that! Probably because he was bored at the moment. During his reading, the blonde, robotic, pixelated girl named Roll was just sweeping the floor with her broom, humming happily. She would do this kind of thing all the time because she really likes to clean! A lot! She was smiling and sweeping until her broom hit the couch. She tapped Tyler on the shoulder. "Tyler? Could you get off the couch for a moment?" She asked."Why?" Tyler said, still reading. "Because I need to clean under there! Please?" Roll asked nicely. "But I don't want to leave! This couch is comfy. And there is nothing you can say that will make me move!" Tyler stated,turning the page. Roll took a deep breath. "Okay. Have it your way." She said. She calmly walked away. Then after moments, came back with a vacuum cleaner, came behind the couch, and just lifted the couch with her one hand! Tyler finally stopped reading and looked down. "Roll! Wh-What are you doing?""It's a win-win! You get to stay on the couch and I get to clean under here!" She said, turning on the vacuum cleaner, still holding the couch with one hand. "And how long is this going to be?" Tyler yelled over the vacuum's noise. "Ohh...About a while!" She replied yelling. Tyler laid back on couch, worried. But this was just the only pet peeve he had against living with Roll. She will clean anything immediately, even him!....But that's another story. He didn't expect that when he touched the Q-Bert kid with that Mega Man cartridge, it would transform into Roll. At first, he was pleased with. But slowly started to get annoyed, but not too annoying. She was more like a sister than a Pixel Buddy.

Benjamin looked sadly down after seeing what Chris said. He could only imagine how Chris felt. With a small frown, Benjamin hugged Chris to show that it was okay.

Meanwhile Sonic just stood there and tapped his foot impatiently. He wanted to just run and take all the pixels out. "..."

Chris looked down at Ben hugging him. He soon learned that it was Ben's way of forgiving. "....Thanks Ben." Chris responded.

"So how are we going to face them off? Me and Sonic are the only ones that can attack, but not against all of them!" Junior said. Tyler and Roll both looked concerned.

"Little DK's got a point. We're just defenseless against those guys!" Tyler exclaimed.

"Yeah....But not without a little help from an old friend of mine. But guys..." Chris's expression started to get serious. "I'm really sorry I pulled you into all of this, but I need your help. This is a mess that I want to clean up and I can't do it alone. I know it's a lot to ask but....Will you guys join me?" Of course, DK Junior nodded and beat his chest.

 

Tyler put his hand on Chris's shoulder. "I have to admit Chris. This is one the most outrageous days in my life. But...I'm willing to do this."

"Count me in too. I want to help out and save lives!" Roll said. Chris smiled at the two's answers. Then he looked at Ben with a bit of worry and kneeled down for equal eye-to-eye contact. "Ben...I'm sorry that this all happened so quickly and how it happened...But I need your help too. You're as good as a gamer as all of us are! We could really use your support on this.....Will you do it? Please?" Roll stood by Chris using sign-language so that every single word could be understood.

Benjamin looked don after Chris' words. He understood every single word by just reading Chris' lips and expression without Roll. He was unsure if how to respond or what to do. This whole thing was so dangerous. But he couldn't just abandon his friends. Was he really that good at gaming...?

'I...' Benjamin hesitated in sign. After a moment he just gave up and opened his mouth to speak. He only ever said words to Sonic and Roll, who were the only ones who knew that Benjamkn could speak.

"Okay..." He uttered softly.

Sonic meanwhile jumped up in excitement and flashed a huge thumbs up. He wanted to jump right in.

Chris quickly shook Ben's hand and hugged him, showing his thanks and smiled. "Thank you Ben." He then stood up and looked both ways from the alleyway, making sure the coast was clear of any more of those Pixel creatures. He looked back to the others to face them. "Okay. First order of business: Weapons. And like I said, I know a friend. Come on." He explained, signaling the others to follow him and ran down the street quickly, followed by Junior, Tyler, and Roll. "There he goes again...Let's see where leads us this time." Tyler commented.

Benjamin followed along as well as Sonic. He was happy Chris felt better, and hopefully wherever they were going they could find a way to fight the Pixels. Ben never held a weapon before, but he could try.

Chris ran and ran with the others following him. As soon as he stopped, Tyler immediately noticed...

"Dude....This is your house." He said with a unamused expression. "WHY ARE WE AT YOUR HOUSE!?" He exclaimed and asked. Chris just chuckled. "You haven't seen the backyard yet." Chris walked diagonally next to his house where the fence was, calm as ever, and opened it. He signaled the others to come. "Well? Are you guys going to come?" He said before going ahead. "...I swear, if this just flat out sucks, I'm so going to...Wha...? Tyler's expression changed as he walked to the backyard and saw this.....Pad. This silver, circular pad that Chris and Junior were standing on. "Um...What is that?" Roll asked.

"You'll find once it activates! Ooh! Ooh!" Junior said, smiling.

Benjamin wasn't expecting to get to Chris' house. He especially wasn't expecting the circular pad in the backyard. He had to admit he was curious and so was Sonic. He followed Chris into it and looked straight down into the pad as he waited to see what happens. "...?" Sonic looked eager as well.

Suddenly, the pad then started to glow brighter and brighter by each second past. Tyler and Roll were starting to go wide eyed as their clothes started to move as if they were being blown by the wind. "What is happening??" Tyler asked and yelled as his hair was beginning to be blown. "Just hang on!" Chris said smiling. In just a flash of light, it looked as if the kids were gone!

 

In another flash of light someplace else, where it looked like they were in an empty closet, the kids appeared! Tyler and Roll were astonished by what just happened. "Woah....What the hell just happened?" Tyler said, with his expression full of surprise. "Did we just..."

"Teleport? Yes." Chris said completing Roll's sentence.

Benjamin looked around in fear for what was happening. Next thing he knew however he was in a closet. He looked around in shock. "..."

Meanwhile Sonic did the same.

Tyler looked at Chris in the most surprised expression. "Boy....What kind of backyard do you have?" He asked. "Like I said, I know a guy." Chris said before walking to the door and opened it to reveal the most impressive technology! "Oh my God..." Tyler exclaimed looking around. Many things were being built at once. Mechanical arms were using many different tools creating sparks against metal. It was hard to tell what was being created due to the many flashes of light. "What is this place?" Roll yelled over the sounds of metal grinding. "This is my pal's home!" Chris yelled. "Come on!" He led the group to the Living Room which was next to the working station.

"So, your..."Friend", is some kind of mechanic?" Roll asked. "Sort of..." Junior replied.

 

 

(Imagine it...Like The Doc's home from Back to The Future. )

Benjamin followed along in awe. He absolutely loved technology. This place was like a Candy store for him. Sonic followed along as well in the same awe. "...~!"

Then suddenly, an explosion could be heard from one of the doors that were diagonally 4 feet from the living room the kids were in. "What was THAT!?" Roll exclaimed. Then the door suddenly opened. Smoke was coming out and coughing could be heard. Then a man seemingly in his 40s or even 50s came out with black colors covering his face and had gotten on his white hair. "Experiment S-215 Test..*cough* Results. Needs improvement. *cough cough* And I need a towel." The man said.

Junior looked around and found a green towel on the couch. He picked it up and quickly ran to the man. "Here you go, Mr. Doc!" Junior said. The man took the towel and used it to wipe his face. "Ah, thank you Junior....Wait a minute..." The Man went wide eyed and looked at Junior. "If you are here, then that means...Chris! Hah-Hah!" The man quickly hugged Chris, patting him on the back. "Good to see you too, Doc!" Chris said. Then Chris turned around to the others. "Guys, this is my pal, who like to call, Doctor Tapper, or Doc for short."

"Well um...Hey, I'm Tyler." Tyler said, slowly waving his hand. He just wasn't prepared to meet a guy like....This.

Benjamin was still marveling at the technology everywhere. It was utterly amazing. Once Doc came out though, Benjamin shyly went up to introduce himself.

'Uh... Can you understand me? I'm Benjamin.' Ben signed in sign language.

Sonic meanwhile spun all around the place. This entire room reminded him of Eggman including the doctor. He didn't like it one bit. "..."

The Doc looked at Benjamin and nodded at every single sign he made. "Uh huh. Uh huh. Uh huh..." He leaned towards Chris and whispered. "What's he saying?"

"Oh! Um, Doc, this is Benjamin. He...Can't hear." Chris said, not trying to hurt Ben's feelings. "Ohhh...I see. Well, hello Benjamin." The Doc said, overly dramatically mouthing his words so Ben could understand. "Yeah. So Doc, this is-" DK Junior was about to introduce Sonic, but The Doc seemed to have that covered. "Well, well, well, what a surprise! The one and only Sonic The Hedgehog! In the Classic Model I see, first used in 1993!" The Doc kneeled down to make eye contact with Sonic. "Pleasure to meet you!"

Benjamin crossed his arms as the doctor made the dramatic mouthing movements. He was death. Not stupid.

Sonic tapped his foot impatiently, wondering if this man ever sided with Robotnik or plotted to turn animals into robots. "..."

"......Silent type, is he?" The Doc said. "Yeah, Sonic doesn't talk much." Chris said. The Doc soon got up and walked towards the last one to be introduced, but he had that one covered as well. "Well, by Criminy Jiminy, you must Roll! What a surprise!"

"Yup! That's me! That's my name!" Roll smiled. She liked being acknowledge by someone very much. It shows how well known she is.

"The Doc is a game wiz! He knows everything about every game!" Junior exclaimed.

Benjamin moved over to Roll protectively. He was unsure about this Doctor and definitely didn't like him getting all close to Roll. "..."

Sonic meanwhile shrugged. There was no way the Doctor knew everything about every game. If Sonic could talk, he would definitely give the Doctor a test.

Tyler meanwhile leaned over to Chris to whisper. "Dude...You really know this guy?" Tyler whispered. "I knew him since I was seven. Sure, he's just a bit of an oddball, but he's pretty cool!" Chris whispered back.

"What are you guys whispering about?" The Doc whispered as well, who was right behind the two boys. Tyler jumped in reaction. "Yeesh! Personal space dude!" He said. Roll giggled at Tyler as that happened.

Benjamin was still unsure about the man. Luckily Sonic seemed to agree with him. Still, if Roll liked the Doctor then Benjamin had to like him as well.

'He's... Nice?' Benjamin signed to Roll. Sonic immediately shook his head.

'Well, he is a bit weird, but he is on our side! Besides, why else would Chris call him his friend?' Roll signed back.

"So, what can I help you guys with? You did come here for some reason, right?" The Doc asked. Chris immidiatley responded. "Yeah! You see, you're not gonna believe this. It's kind of crazy. You see..."

"A Pixel invasion was somehow released throughout the town and the city and you guys need some type of equipment to face them off." The Doc answered, which produced a surprised expression on everyone's face. "Yeeeah. Pretty much...." Tyler said.

"How did you know?" Junior asked. "Lucky guess. Plus it's on the news!" The Doc answered back.

Benjamin shrugged with a small frown. 'Yeah, but he's still weird.' He signed back. He was weary around such people.

Sonic meanwhile looked around in small fear as the Doctor claimed the invasion was on the news. Boy, was he going to be so in trouble if he was caught. Sonic and Benjamin would be banned from fun for life. "...!"

"Wait...It's on the news already?" Tyler exclaimed. "Well, yeah! See for yourself on my flat screen." The Doc said, walking pass the couch, grabbing remote from a nearby small table, pressing the power button to turn on the TV, then tossed it to Chris, who caught it. "Nice catch." Doctor Tapper said. The TV went straight to the news. A woman with black hair was reporting, sitting behind the table.

 

The streets, cities, and even buildings are being destroyed by the current invasions of what we see as these..."Pixelated" creatures as they tear up streets and even take people's lives! The military defenses are right now no use to defend against this catastrophe!

 

On screen, footage of the invasion is being shown, viewing all kinds of arcade game characters are causing destruction and panic by the people, who were running and screaming for their lives.

 

Some witnesses say that these creatures look like the same ones that attacked 6 months ago. And it is unknown if these creatures have captured anyone captive or-

 

Suddenly, Pixel blocks were blown from the back of the newsroom! A huge hole in the wall was created revealing the same Galaxian aliens that attacked the kids! Right then, the woman screamed and ran away, managing to escape. But the Galaxians kept shooting up the entire room! One shot from the Glalaxian Boss shot the camera, causing the TV to go static...

"Oh dear...." Roll said, wrapping her arms around Ben, looking scared. "You know, that's the most action packed the news has ever been." The Doc said from the back, working on one of his inventions with a screwdriver. "Doc...We really need your help on this." Chris said seriously.

"Yeah Doctor Tapper! We can't face them off like this!" Junior said, jumping.

"Calm down. Calm down. Of course I'll help! What makes you think I wouldn't? If it's world defending you need help with, then you've to the right place!" The Doc said, still working on his invention.

Benjamin looked to the TV screen, reading the Breaking News words on the screen. Oh boy. This was bad. He looked over to Roll and signed to her.

'Do you think the Arcader guys will come back?' He asked her.

Meanwhile Sonic sped around in impatience as he saw the news unfolded on the screen. He just wanted to get back outside and fight! "...!"

'Maybe....But the invasion has already started...I don't know if they'll be able to make it in time...' Roll signed back, looking worried.

"Lucky for you kids, I have prepared for the next invasion of these Pixel creatures and I must tell you...." The Doc walked and sat down on the couch behind the children, looking serious. "It is in fact, pretty dope!"

"Well, that depends on the weapon to see if it's "dope" Doc." Tyler said. "Of course it is! Look, I'll show you in the testing room." The Doc soon got up, walked past the kids, and then to the right which was a hallway. A wide garage like door was at the end of it. 2 doors were on each side of the wall. The Doc stopped by the first door on the left. "Walk this way!"

Benjamin followed the Doctor with a small sigh. This honestly felt like another bad idea. Then again, they had to get help from the Doctor. How else would they get the weapons they needed to fight the Pixels? "..."

Meanwhile Sonic just crossed his arms and poured. He decided to go along with this Doctor... For now.
