Does anyone else find this new Lego Dimensions game to be similar to the first Kingdom Hearts game or the series in general?

Basically, it has Batman, Gandalf and Wyldstyle going on a quest to find Robin , Frodo and Metalbeard (sorta like Sora, Donald and Goofy looking for Mickey, Kairi and Riku) as they cross through different worlds to defeat Lord Vortech who wants to control the multiverse (similar to Master Xehanort's goal to create another Keyblade war but less complicated.)

The worlds in question are DC Comics, Lord of the Rings, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, The Wizard of Oz, Ninjango, Scooby Doo, Portal, The Simpsons, Doctor Who and Chima, which play a role similar to the Disney worlds in Kingdom Hearts, but a little different as there are no "meddling in other world affairs" so a few of the characters besides the trio are free to cross over into other worlds.

What do you think?

reminds me more of Disney Infinity except for the fact that the characters in this actually interact and there's a central story, given that they're both toys-to-life series. any similarities to KH are probably coincidental

this game has a really great line-up of characters/world though. back to the future, doctor who, portal, the simpsons, scooby-doo, et. al in one title? sounds amazing
