I froze--what was that? I could just make out the figures breaking through the trees. I sprinted madly through the woods, my clothes catching on branches, my hair becoming tangled. There was no way I could run faster than them.

Breathing hard, I skittered to a stop. There it was again. They'd chased me the whole way back! That's why they kept at such a distance--they weren't really planning on catching me. "They thought I'd catch myself." I whispered in horror. No way I was going back there. Ever.

I spun around, ready to run anywhere. I didn't care, as long as it wasn't here. Someone caught my arm before I could take off. "Hello, Catalin."

this is good so far but I suggest like give more of a plot so that more people can understand this story

Thanks ^^ And that's coming up

I bolted upright, my eyes widening. I breathed a sigh of relief seeing, instead, my room. I glanced over at my glowing digital clock. 3:27 A.M. I pulled open the curtains, opening to window beside my bed. Snow blew into the room. It melted on my face, freezing, but waking me up. I leaned out, smiling at the beautiful fairytale scene. Under the porch, our golden retriever, Buttercup, was curled up.

Even though I knew it had been a dream, I squinted towards the woods. There wasn't a sound. I sighed, and turned back to my room, leaving the window open and pinning aside the dainty purple curtains. My journal sat on my desk, the crystal 'C' faintly sparkling in the moonlight. That thing was full of lies, though. My real story couldn't be told on paper. Something anyone could steal and read. My story was a story no one should know.

Thank you (:

Of course, not being able to tell anyone was like being robbed and saying it was an 'accident', and doing nothing about it. And I HAD been robbed. Not of possesions, but of my LIFE. I frowned at my ruler-straight deep-blond hair. It should be auburn and curly. My eyes shouldn't be deep blue, but emerald green. I wouldn't have recognized myself from my old life. Then again, and was the point.

"Catalin?" I heard a sleepy voice ask. I turned to see my younger sister, Lucy, walk in. I smiled weakly at her. "That's not my name anymore, sweetie." "Huh?" Lucy rubbed her eyes. "I'm sorry. I forgot...Katie." She frowned, looking about to cry. "Another nightmare?" I asked knowingly. Lucy nodded sadly, and I patted my bed. "You can sleep here. I'm not going to bed anyway." Not after that dream. It was all too real. The same dream Lucy probably had. She slammed the window forcefully shut, afraid, and my stars were gone.

I loved watching those stars. Finding constellations when I was scared to calm myself down. I picked up the journal. Not completely full of lies--all of it was true. Just missing all of the crucial details as to why I'm not Catalin Stone anymore, and have been replaced with Katie Jackson.

It's sounds interesting. I am a romance novelist so I know a good story when I see one. I also like how you used rambunctious; complicated words for example you used skitted instead of slidded and you used horror instead of fear and in your plot you turned and simple plot into an interesting one with the way you described it.

I sat up slowly, blinking. Had I fallen asleep? I looked around--Lucy was snoring softly, tucked up under my covers. I smiled a little, and ran downstairs to let Buttercup inside. "Hey, sweet girl," I cooed, patting her head as she madly wagged her tail. I noticed a flash of gray, and glanced up from her excited brown eyes. "Hold still, baby." Someone had Duct-Taped a note to Buttercup's tail?

I felt frozen in place, and cold sweat broke out on my forehead. I sprinted to the door, slammed it shut, and tightly closed all of the locks. Running madly to check all of the windows were locked, I finally made it back to where I'd dropped the note in fear. I swallowed, yet the huge lump forming in my throat stayed put. It must have been put on not long ago--it wasn't even soggy from the snow storm.

Her hands shook so hard she could barely read the short, not-so-cryptic bad guy message.

You don't have long. No matter what you do or where you hide, we'll always find you, Stone.
