Hamilton: The Musical

Hey, has anyone gone to see, heard of, or listened to the Soundtrack for Hamilton? It's simply magnificent!

 

For those not aware, it's a new musical to Broadway about the life of Alexander Hamilton and the birth of Independent America. It's fantastic, well written, and has a fair number of actual rap songs written in seemlessly.

 

If you haven't checked this out, I recommend it. I am not a fan of Musicals on the most part, but I was blown away by this - if you are a fan of Musicals then even more reason to heed this call - Educate yourselves!  

 

Most of the soundtrack is on Youtube, and I believe it's all on Spotify.

    Oh my God, yes! I freakin' love that musical. The soundtrack's so good, and they rap so well imo. I literally have been listening to it since, like, a day or two after the soundtrack came out thanks to my borderkine musica otaku friend.

    I got recommended it by a friend, then a girl I kinda like is in love with musicals and was raving about this one so I decided that I should check it out. I now own the soundtrack, I wanna see it live so bad :')

    Seeing it live would be a dream come true honesty. It's in my top 3 along with Book of Mormon and Avenue Q

    I am in the UK so going to Broadway would cost me like half a years salary with travel, accomodation and tickets... I hope it takes off and come to the UK with the original cast, that would be incredible!

    I have heard of it in my U.S history class in high school. I never saw it though.

    Listen to the soundtrack - I assure you you've not heard history told this way, but listening to the songs in order is important
