Well, I don't normally care for fanfics, but I had thought of a wonderful story after talking with SK3 on facebook. If any of you are friends with me and him there, you can see the spoilers for the ending of the story. I still have no idea how it goes, besides those parts but...yeah. I'll be posting a small story fanfic here:

Number XV

 

Chapter 1- Recruits:

 

My name.....no....my number, is XV. I am the newest addition to Organization XIII. They found me lying on a wasteland-like planet, and knew I was one of them, for there were no heartless scavangers feasting on my heart, if I had one. They picked me up, and took me to the castle. They game me my jacket, a name and a number. My new name is.....Awayx (Ah-wake-x). My old name was......well......I don't remember. But neither do Number XIII, or XIV, who just joined a little before I was found.

 

So here I am now, sitting in my new chair, in The Room Where Nothing Gathers, for my first meeting. Things are going by so quickly this first week, I guess thats because i'm new and settling in. Oh well.

It sounds good. I always wondered what it was like to be in the Org. I like your anagram. Mines would be Kiexron (kykes-ron).

Oh wow, thx for commenting mate. No one ever reads my stories or poems anymore, except on facebook. Anyways:

 

Chapter 2 - Orders:

 

*Xemnas teleports into his chair*

 

"Good greetings friends. Today we will discuss the matters that upon our plans."Said Xemnas as his deep voice echoes.

"And which plans are those?" asked Number IX, Demyx, who seemed to be sitting quite casually and comfortably compared to the others.

"We have now obtained two bearers of the Keyblade, and one more help to our group. The time is now to act our plans for Kingdom Hearts." said Xemnas. He apparently wants us to go out killing Heartless to collect hearts for some bigger heart. I had no idea why.

 

"Why do we need to do that?" asked Number XIII, Roxas. He seems like such a child compared to the others.

"To gain hearts of our own of course." Said Number XIV, Xion.

"But why do we need hearts?" asked Roxas.

"You'll understand why when you get yours. Now pipe down." Spoke Number III, Xaldin. Roxas bent back into his risen seat.

 

"Now then, we will send Roxas and Awayx to Twilight Town in collection of a few hearts. Have no less than 30 killed for the mission to be completed, I will also send Demyx and Axel towards a new world we had discovered in our scanners for Recon. The rest of you will speak with Saix for your missions. Any questions?" Xemnas had said his orders. There were a few muffled comments around the spiral chairs but nothing unusual to my thoughts.

"Then you are dismissed." Xemnas said and we teleported ourselves to our locations, besides Xemnas, who apparently likes to stay in this room alot to think. But whatever, time for my mission.

Chapter 3 - First mission:

 

I teleported to the destination. Roxas came a few seconds after. "So.....this place is known as Twilight Town?" I asked him. My hood remained up as it has been throught the story.

"Yeah. I've been here before while training. This is my first real mission." Roxas said stepping to my side. "I as well...Roxas." I said, looking at the surroundings.

"So where should we go?" Roxas asked. "I'm not sure, let us walk around. It was told to me that Heartless are drawn to the Keyblade, reveal it." I said. Roxas did as told and shined out his weapon in hand. We then walked around until we ended up being in a place called "The Sandlot". "Stop." I said, halting Roxas and I in our tracks. "Why?" He asked. Then, out of the ground sprung Heartless, blak creatures with golden eyes. Some with a mark on them, others without. "Kill the marked Heartless, i'll strike the Purebloods." I said, giving a battle plan for us. "Right." Roxas said, and ran off for the Emblems.

 

I reached my hand to the ground and sand began to rise from it, once it touched my hand it formed into a giant rock-hilted sword. I then got into a battle stance similar to Number V's, he, after all, trained me.

 

I dashed and swung my weapon around, making sure none harm Roxas as he was striking down the heart-carriers. One nearly got an ambush behind him, but I managed to throw my sword right at the creature before it landed, the Pureblood was crushed onto the side of a nearby wall, and I got my sword.

 

An hour later, we made the 30 mark count. And coincidentally killed off the last few heartless in the area. "Alright, time to RTC." Roxas said to me. "Indeed." I replied, and swung my sword to resting on my shoulder. Before the sword landed, I formed a rock shoulder guard to protect. And we walked back to the portal. "So you were trained by Lexaeus huh?" asked Roxas as we stood in front of the portal. "Yes, Master Xemnas ordered it so, because he and I have the same affinity for Earth." I explained. "Oh, well thats interesting. See you back at the castle." Roxas said and teleported off. I followed after, and that was all for me in the day.

Chapter 4 - Experiment:

 

The next day I awoke from my sleep in a startle. As I looked to my left I saw Vexen lingering over me with a hand to his chin in a puzzling gesture. He was thinking.

"Uhh, hello Number IV, can I help you this morning?" I asked, still in a slight daze from sleep.

"No Awayx, I am just considering who to be my next subject in experimentation. Would you like to help?" He asked. "I was unsure what an experiment was, but until I receive my day's mission, I was fine to help anyone in a problem.

"Sure." I said, getting out of bed and walking with Vexen to the Laboratory that belongs to him.

 

Later we entered the doors to the lab, the area was completely white and...cold. I could see my breathe, there were counters with sinks and bottles and glass objects around, Dusks and other Nobodies doing simple tasks that prove a small frustration towards them. I was told to enter inside a large pod-like figure that looked like a flower bud. It was strange but whatever, I entered inside.

"Now Awayx, I will attempt to do a few experiments on you, don't be afraid but this may hurt just a bit." Vexen said with a small smirk across his face. He pressed a button and the pod closed. Gas was forming all around me, I slowly began to lift off the ground. I looked around in a strange mystery and WTF over my eyes. The pod was somewhat transparent so Vexen could see inside as I could see outside.

 

A few minutes later while being held in mid-air flashes of light began to swirl around me before my eyes, picture, faces, memories! Memories? Are these the people I knew before? But before I could think any further I heard the door to the laboratory open outside the pod, Saix walked in. He looked at me in the pod and then turned to Vexen. They talked and Vexen rolled his eyes in a casual fashion, then pressed the same button as before which turned off the machine, the pod opened.

 

"Are you alright Number XV?" Saix asked walking towards me as I collapse to one knee from the experience.

"Y-yes...sir. What are my orders?" I asked, shaking away the feeling as I shook my head and gathered to my feet.

"You are to go to the world titled as 'Deep Jungle'. The world is large and filled with trees and animals, we have extracted all the Hearts we can from that world and it proves no further use to us besides its own heart. You will be accompanied by Master Xemnas himself, along with Xion to retrieve the heart. Be on your best." He said strictly and told me to go to the Grey Room to await the others. I went.

 

At the Grey Room I saw Number XIV and Master Xemnas next to a portal. "Welcome Number XV, are you ready to go?" Master Xemnas asked as he spotted me coming up from the basement steps.

"Yes Master Xemnas, it is an honor to be working beside you this mission." I said, Number V had taught me many things besides training when I was under his wing. He taught me manners as well, and to address other members by their number or title unless allowed by name, and to address our leader as Master Xemnas. I saw Master Xemnas leave into the portal, along with a hooded Number XIV. I was in a sudden shock of pain, was it because of that experiment Number IV put upon me? What exactly did he do? Well, whatever, I don't complain much.

Before I stepped in I looked behind me, I saw Lexaeus leaning against a wall, he tilted his head upward to look at me, and gave me a nod. I nodded back, and entered the portal.

Chapter 5 - The Deep Jungle

 

 

I exited the dark portal onto wild and messy grasslands within a forest-y area. I was on a cliff, in front of me at the edge were Master Xemnas and Number XIV, Xion awaited, lookig out upon the thick horizon.

"Master Xemnas, where might the large heart be located upon this area?" I asked, stepping up behind the two.

"Even I do not possess the knowledge of the door to the heart of this world. We must find find it soon." Master Xemnas spoke deeply. He turned to Xion. "Release the keyblade." He said.

 

"Yes Master Xemnas." said Xion, shining out her weapon. It was the same design as Roxas's keyblade. As it appeared, so did Heartless.

"Awayx, take care of them." said Xemnas turning his head towards me. I nodded, and they both dashed off the cliff and into the jungle trees.

 

I looked around to see Purebloods circle around me, I pulled out a small booklet from my jacket and flipped the pages.

"Hmm...Pureblood Heartless Number III, Neoshadow. Obtaining the same floor shadowing manuveur as their smaller cousins, these heartless posses higher strength and ability. Use caution when they appear out of sight. *I slammed my book closed in my hands* Right, did they ever pick the wrong guy for this one." I said putting the booklet back into my jacket.

 

I raised my left hand and through an earth-shattering crack appearing from the ground, emerged my sword.

"Now then, who wants to go first?" I retorically asked and with a smirk, dashed forwards towards the first heartless, swinging the weapon about to smash it into fine mist, then meeting a whole momentous 360 turn about killing another two incoming Neoshadows.

I began to swing and crash my sword onto the cliff top with the Heartless, battling from scratch to crush. A few minutes later and I was down to three. Two sunk to the ground while the middle dashed forward head-first for an attack. I remained vigilant and threw my sword with a tight grip at a 180 vertical spin, knocking the attacking Heartless upward into the air, exploding into a darkness -infested mist and I myself going along with my sword, trailing behind so that I end up swinging myself onto the handle-top of my sword. This way, I can manuever my eyes about the ground so I can see where the Neoshadows are crawling, and plus I am at a safe distance away from the ground.

 

I see one moving right and another moving left. The right-sided one leaped from the ground and lunged for me, I formed a large blade from the palm of my hands and launched at the Heartless, slashing it to pieces in the air. I landed and turned around. The other Heartless emerged from the surface and looked at me with glowing yellow eyes. It went on and escaped for its pitiful life.

 

"Hmph," I smirked, "nuisances." I grabbed my sword and walked to the edge of the cliff. I raised my head to the air and sniffed, trying to find where the other two had gone. "This way." I said finding Xion's scent. I then jumped off as well and ran through the large trees and past the thick jungle to find them.
