So, I need some help from you guys..

A while back, before I went to see the Force Awakens, I got 2 lightsabers for me and my brother, pictured below, both are bladebuilder variants and I'd like some help with something.

So the real reason I bought these was for modding them before TFA came out, but I ran out of time trying to figure out how to pry open the casing without damaging the internals. So I gave up. Now however, I want to finish what I started and so, I'm asking for you guys to help me find a tutorial, video or experience that can help me open it safely. 

Btw, I tried opening it myself and got a few scratches on Luke's saber, so yeah. THANKS FOR THE HELP!
