Ahh :( I remember 6 years ago this summer I marathoned this show all the way up to season 5 (or whatever the latest season was at the time. I was only 11! ) it was such an awesome experience. Great show (aside from that ending) :D

It's perfect, be a huge troll if they changed the alternate ending so it wasn't the way people wanted it to be like Lily and Marshall getting divorced then Ted marrying Lilly, Marshall x Robin and then Barney being alone again. That'd be hilarious :D

I won't spoil - I wouldn't say it's better, but it's an alternative!

That scene and how he said he would do anything to go back is when I figured out that she must have been dead sometime before he started telling the story.
