I know there's a topic for this game, but its more then three months old.
After playing the game about 4 times, I've finally realized what the game's story was trying to teach me. remember when Elle was that milla(fractured) is milla, no matter how "fake" she is and remember when the real milla said that the fractured millia is fractured milla.? If you haven't realized yet the moral of the game's story is that no matter how "fake" a person is, the memories that you have with that person (Elle) is real. They have the right to live a normal life because they are living, breaking creatures, just like us, thus, explaining why the ending where Ludger dies IS the true ending. Lugder(the player) realized the latter and killed himself so Elle, the "fake" being, can life a normal life like everyone else.
