Should kingdom hearts 3 allow you to change the difficultly while you're playing the game?

Posted

I think it should. This would help the people who want to have fun with the game instead of getting frustrated in parts of the game that they feel like are hard to them?

Stay on topic dude! xD You made this topic so stay on it! If you wanted to talk about games in general, then you should have made a topic in the video games section, not KH3. xD

yes, your right

Well, for beginners that are just recently getting into Kingdom Hearts, I think that having the option to change the difficulty is a good choice!  Because that way, if they feel like the game is too tough for them, they can change the difficulty instead of having to start the game all over, ya know?

But for us experienced Kingdom Hearts players, I don't find the need to change the difficulty, ya know?  I like my playthroughs Critical! :D

You literally just explained the reason to put that kind of mechanic into the game. They did that for Re:Coded, and Tales of Xillia, and TWEWY, so why not KH3?That would indeed be punishing to make the player get to a point late in the game, then become unable to get through because they are not as experienced. It's a harsh world, and that ability to change difficulty at will is important in order to make the game enjoyable for everyone and not just veteran players. :)Rock on!

Nah. There's no point. If you want to make the bosses easy, you should start with the easier difficulty. That would be like cheating on a test.

Well sometimes you feel like you can fight this boss with ease so you make it harder

Exactly!  I'm pretty sure that other than pleasing longtime fans, Nomura will be looking to draw in new fans into the series, and as such, providing this little mechanic for Kingdom Hearts III could go a long way into winning over new players, ya know? :3

I wish that was possible, because I'm underwhelmed and actually want to turn the difficulty UP
