Is it only me that thinks it would have been smart for Square to include Aerith in KHIFM, but then take her out in KHIIFM, as the events of FFVII pretty much transpires between both since Cloud is wearing a variation of his FFVII attire in KHI and his Advent Children attire in KHII?

 

Only me who would've thought of that as a good idea?

The reason Cloud is wearing the advent children outfit is because the movie came out around the time KH2 was released. The events of FF7 have nothing to do with KH and all the FF characters are alternate versions of themselves in the KH universe.Cloud isn't wearing his FF7 attire in KH1 (sigh), those are Vincent Valentine's clothes (originally planned to be in KH1 OC, not cloud.)

I'm hoping they include some of that plot in KH3.

Again, I didn't say it IS his FFVII attire, I said it looks like a variation of it, because you can definitely see his SOLDIER uniform under it.

The gap between KH1 and KH2 was roughly a year and a half, correct? So between that time, FF7 happened, then another 2 years for advent children?

How is it safe to assume? Have you even read what I just wrote? Your logic is wrong unfortunately.

 

If your idea is so safe to assume-Where is Red XIII in KH2? Where's Barret, Cait Sith and Vincent? Why isn't Cid wearing his advent children attire? Where is Midgar? Where is the world of Gaia in the KH universe?

 

The clothes were to show off his advent children attire, nothing more.

I actually have played it, I would've completed it if not for the fact I accidentally deleted it while Chocobo breeding. The simple excuse for Red, Cait Sith, Barret and Vincent not being in the game is that they just weren't included, not all of FFVIII characters were included like Squall, not all of FFX characters were included like Tidus, Wakka and Selphie, and even they have expendable roles since they've only been seen in KH1, and Selphie in KH2. As for Cid not having his Advent Children attire on, who knows, like you said, the universes aren't connected. I'm only making assumptions and theories based off of my own opinions and limited knowledge of FF, but that gives you no right to sit and bash my opinions and tell me I'm wrong because you disagree with me. I did say you don't have to agree with me, so why didn't you leave knowing we have differing opinions instead of bashing mine?

Calm down now, your 'assumptions' seemed illogical, and I never bashed your opinion so stop overreacting. You literally assumed that FF7 took place in between KH1 and KH2 with absolutely no evidence, that's why I argued with you, since that idea seems ridiculous .
