A bunch of my friends are trying to get together our own party in preparation for the US Unchained release date, but we weren't sure whether it was compatible across iOS and Android devices. I have both (iPad and Droid phone) but it might affect others who don't have the option.

Can you form a party with iOS and Android players, or is the game on separate servers for each device?

Doesn't matter which device you have, they're on the same server. You only have to be in the same union as your friends :)

(at least that was the case with the Japanese version)

Yeah the server is the only thing that matters. The phones are just taking that information and converting it to a format that works on that device.
