So I'll be getting a new phone at some point in the future, but not necessarily here and now. I know if you load old backups to new phones on iOS all of your save data on games typically carries over. But is there a way to make sure the save data is still there in the event a backup doesn't work? Is it login based, or able to be saved through Facebook? Anything the people who have played the Japanese version on iOS could tell me would be appreciated.

There should be some sort of backup. Maybe GameCentre?

There's a topic on this forum for android so I imagine/hope it's the same principle for iOS.

If it's within the app, then it's there.
