How do I equip my keyblade?

You select your Keyblade by pressing the <--- and ---> arrows that are near the Keyblade to choose it. You can only choose your Keyblade right before doing a chapter.

 

How do I inflict the most damage?

The boss of each chapter has a specific emblem attached to it. Green = Speed, Blue = Magic and Red = Power. Think of it like basic Pokemon types, green beats blue, blue beats red and red beats green.

 

How do I defeat my enemies with only one blow?

This is more of a situational thing. Be high leveled and use special attacks as often as possible. You can repeat a quest even after you finished it.

1. The keyblade you use is the keyblade you have selected under equipment

2. but getting better medals

3. but the red over green, green over blue, and blue over red

 

But I'm not sure you will like the story because if this is your first kingdom hearts game then it will confuse you.

I hope this helps you:

 

-If you've got more than one keyblade, just swipe the screen to swap it in the "equipment" menu. If not, then you've only got one that's already equiped.

 

-You've got three atributes: Speed (green), Power (red), and Magic (blue). Green beats blue, blue beats red and red beats green. This is viewd in th corner of the medal and on the enemie's name. For example, if you're fighting a Shadow heartless, you will want to use a magic medal since the Shadow heartless' atribute is power. Moreover, you've got medals with different amount of stars, from 1 to 5. The higher amount of stars, the stronger is the medal.

 

-Follow the same proces as before but knowing that you've got three different ways of using a medal: tap an enemy to deal moderate damage only to him, swipe the screen to lightly damage all the foes or drag the medal to use the special attack (this consumes SPs). If you're facing one oponent, tap it, and if you're facing several, swipe. If you can guess that neither of those two will be enough, use a special attack. Take in notice that you will use the medal for the turn after doing one of these 3 actions.

 

But I'm not sure you will like the story because if this is your first kingdom hearts game then it will confuse you.

Actually, I watched every Kingdom Hearts game cutscenes on YouTube (and I read the manga and the novels). This is just the first KH game I actually played.

If anything, that's a good thing. Chronologically, this is the first Kingdom Hearts game in the lore timeline. Hope you're having fun with it! What party did you join?

I am having fun. I actually haven't joined a party yet. Maybe I'll join whatever party members here or on KHInsider are on.

My advice, just pick your favourite Animal emblem. The story is 99.9% same regardless of who you are going to be choosing.
