1. For someone who doesn't plan on spending any real money whats the best to spend gems on? I upgraded my max medals to 80 and did the 600 gem draw for 3 medals twice now.

 

2. How to get those experience medals to level up other medals (not the evolution ones). Is there a way to tell which mission will give what element exp medal?

 

3. What all does joing a team do? Should I make a team with my 2 friends who may not play often or look for a more active group?

1. I would only do the Daily Deal, ergo the 600 jewels draw. This way you don't waste them.

 

2. Between Monday and Thursday you can get them in the Special Quests. Just check on which day you can get what type of Power Up Medal.

 

3. A team is only useful when you have more members. You get rewards when your team has a high rank at the end of a week, and more players can help you with Raid Bosses, or share better medals.

 

4. A normal upgrade increases one of the boosts the slots have. When it changes its shape you get an extra slot.

If you fail a raid boss, allies can pick up the slack. There's also a weekly leaderboard for parties that grants rewards based on how much Lux was gained in that week. Aside from being social and helping each other, that's more or less it.
