Oh my god I did not expect 

 

 

 

 

To return . It was a huge surprise!

I can see Hisoka dieing in the next few chapters, the fight was declared a 'deathmatch' after all. The art was really great but you can kind of tell it was unfinished. Also, the way Chrollo used the book was crazy-he can make people explode by touching them . I don't think Hisoka can survive unless he runs away, also-did anyone notice how genuinely scared he was? He wanted a decent opponent and he got one

 

I think that Chrollo may have killed Shalnark or borrowed his Nen to get his ability, he said he found one of his tricks in his home of 'Meteor City'. Maybe Gyro restored his Nen? Hopefully we'll see Chrollo hunt down Kurapika soon , perhaps being hired as a bodyguard by one of the princes (Maybe Tsundreichh aka the one who has the Scarlet eyes).

Not putting spoiler tags here, because it's pretty obvious there's gonna be spoilers... so watch out. ^^

 

This match sure came out of nowhere (not the match itself, but the timing... why here?), and I have mixed feelings... I AM excited, because I've been waiting for this (plus we finally have Chrollo back). But on the other hand, since the timing is odd, I'm wondering... is Togashi rushing things here, feeling that he needs to finish HxH quickly while he actually can. I mean, he has health problems (was it back pain? or is this just a rumor?) so maybe he fears he'll become unable to work in the near future? It makes me a bit scared...

 

And I really don't want Hisoka or Chrollo to die... Though I do think it's a bit strange for Togashi to straight out announce that one of them will die? So maybe there'll be a twist?

My guesses are:

1) Neither of them will die, the match gets interrupted or something

2) Both of them will die

3) Hisoka will die, but something major will be revealed at the same time (a backstory for Hisoka?)

 

I honestly can't see Hisoka killing Chrollo for some reason... And I think it'd be quite dumb to kill Chrollo off here since the whole Kurapika vs. Phantom Troupe thing is still unresolved... but who knows what Togashi is thinking?

I do really think it'd be a strange move to kill Hisoka off here, since he's probably one of the most popular characters in the whole series. Not that popular characters can't die, but this just feels way too minor for that...

It would be weird to kill off Hisoka since he's Gon's motivation to get stronger in some ways. Gon's final fight will be Hisoka. Kurapika's will be Chrollo and Killua's is Illumi I believe. But I still think it will happen, Hisoka is nowhere near Chrollo's level.
