So we all know how Axel's line in CoM was changed in the remake, so he didn't say hell anymore. But for BbS it's the opposite. In the Japanese version, Maleficent never said hell, but in the International version, she says it right before her fight with Aqua. What's the point of one and not the other?

Because she says it in a way in the movie so she says it in the game. Axels line is easy to take out but that in the movie was part of maleficents spell to become a dragon.

Its staying true to its source material in Sleep Beauty Maleficent when Phillip fights her, she said something about all the power of Hell" and turns into the Dragon, KH Wiki just assumed it was a censorship in ReCOM but neglected to point out it might also be because of the script change, in COM in the first place that scene with Axel was a little long-winded he brings up how Sora, Riku, Namin

A lot of lines changed for the worst in Re:CoM.

Like when Sora says 'This is probably another one of your mean tricks!'
