The Weekly Shonen Jump has revealed that Dissidia will finally be getting a sequel. Not much information has been revealed yet, but Lightning from FFXIII and Kain from FFIV have been confirmed to be playable.

 

Nomura has also revealed on Twitter that the game will be playable at TGS this year.

 

I'm so glad Dissdia's finally getting a sequel! I love the original and still play it quite alot now. It would seem to me that this one might incorporate tag team battles judging by Duodecim being in the title, it would certainly seem that the roster of playable characters will be alot bigger in this game compared to the originals.

There's also rumours that Yuna and Kaan will be in it, so yay Yuna (obviously i like the girl characters, the guys just suck, and seem to wear more "flamboyant" costumes than the girls. )

Haven't seen that scan before, nice find Reversal.

I thought Cecils design in Dissidia was based on his DS remake one, with the only difference in the character in the two games being his voice actor. I guess I was wrong, still looks pretty awesome though even if it isn't that different to his original costumes.

I've seen a trailer and a few other things for this game so far, I'm so excited for it!! 8D <333
