So,today I picked up a PSX emulator called RetroArch for my phone, as well as DW7. Problem is I'm in the first area of the game and no mobs are spawning. Is this RetroArch's fault or is it the game's? I got both discs off of EmuParadise if that helps.

You won't run into any enemies until you finish the first cave/ruins.  You'll find out later on why you don't run into monsters around the first town and castle.

No problem :)

Where are you in the game, if you don't mind me asking?  I've finished the game a few times, so you won't spoil me with it.

Okay then you should be running into monsters now.  If you aren't, then there is something wrong with the game you got.  Thanks for letting me know btw :)
