Thought I'd make a topic regarding today's upcoming announcements related to Sonic. If there's a similar topic let me know.

 

Here we can talk about or speculate about the anniversary party being held next to Comic-Con, which will also be livestreamed today. It starts at 6am Pacific.

Sonic Mania looks like an official rom hack,Sega are really playing it safe,but it looks great

I guess when all else fails, you go classic. It looks cool, but not my cup of tea.

Yeah I honestly think that this is great, Sure it's not a 3D Sonic game but I think SEGA did the smart thing since a lot of fans are always compared the classic Sonic games to the 3D Mordern Sonic games. You know I'll admit when I saw the reveal trailer I thought this was another collection of the Classic Sonic games. But I'm glad I was wrong lol. Getting tired of all these collections this gen is bringing.

 

Here's the Sonic Team game that's being developed... and it's confirmed for the Nintendo NX.

I really hope that the proyect is Generations 2, but the press release doesn't get my hopes up. Suposedly this isn't a sequel, so I don't know what they're gonna do. It's sad that Sega missed the anniversary this year, but that only means that the 2 new games will be great.

 

 

 

I'll reserve judgement until they show actual gameplay.
