Kirby: Summer Stars (1x1 RP with KHUndertaleFan25)

Posted

"1...2...3..."

Kirby's head was laying against a tree, counting numbers in a game of hide-and-seek in order to find his friends, Adeline and Elsa. If he won, they would make him a delicious cake! He couldn't wait.

"7...8...9...10!" Poyo, Poyo!" He exclaimed, jumping up and running to find his two friends.

Adeline's expression lit up when Elsa said the correct name for the tool that was needed. "Yeah! That's the one." She quickly began painting the object from memory. The whisk was then painted and popped out and landed on the table.

"Poyo! Poyo!" Kirby clapped his hands out of excitement.

Elsa felt glad that they now had all the appropriate stuff to make Kirby's cake. "Great! So... Do we make the cake by the book or do we just go all out?" She asked Adeline, curious as to how they would do this.

"Well, I can't paint a cook book. Even if I do, the pages will be blank." Adeline said. "And the only cookbook to be around in Dreamland would be..." She then gulped before she could finish her sentence. "King DeeDeeDee's castle."

"O-Oh... Not him..." Elsa muttered, looking down. Lisa got scared because she did not like the mean king one bit and decided to hug Kirby for comfort. Maybe we should've painted a cake for Kirby and not have to go to that evil king's palace..., she thought, her hands clenching into fists.

Kirby looked at Lisa when she hugged him. "Poyo?" And at that moment...Kirby knew what he must do.

For the cake.

He then stood up and raised his stubby hand in the air. "Poyo!"

"Wait! Don't tell me you'll go to DeeDeeDee's castle and get the cookbook." Adeline exclaimed. The pink puffball tapped his body and nodded in response. "Poyo!"

"Are you sure, Kirby? M-Maybe I should go with you." Elsa said, not wanting the small puffball to get hurt even though she knew what he was capable of. I know he can protect himself, but still..., she thought, really feeling worried for him.

Kirby nodded to Elsa's offer to help. He didn't mind having some friends along for the ride. "I'll stay here with Lisa if you don't mind Elsa. Please be safe." Adeline said. She was worried that her friends might get hurt along the way. Who knows what that king might do?...

Lisa cried loudly, not wanting her mother to leave. Elsa stooped down to hug her small daughter and said, "Don't worry, my darling. Me and Kirby will be back before you know it. Okay?" The little girl wiped her tears away and nodded, agreeing with her mom. Elsa let go of her daughter and looked to Adeline, saying, "Take care of her while we're gone."

Adeline nodded and picked up Lisa. "We'll be fine, don't worry. Please be safe you two." Adeline said.

"We will. Come on, Kirby. Let's go get that cookbook!" Elsa said, feeling determined to help the small puffball. Lisa sniffled a little, but she knew her mother and Kirby were going to come back. All she had to do was wait until then.
