The Lionhearts (Voltron KH rp with Stardustblade)

Posted

(I couldn't come up with a badass name using Lionheart so whatever)

The endless night forever coated the world of Traverse Town like small blanket, taking in refuge those who suffered the fate of having their worlds lost. That was all there was in Traverse Town: victims of the cruel creatures known as the Heartless. Luckily such occurances was rare, although recently more and more worlds have been lost; causing the population to surge drastically. Local officials feared that there would be no more room for any more people.

A young boy by the name of Pidge- a false identity for a persona named Katie sat on a small box on the roof to the orphanage she was apart of. Every single night the girl snuck out to take close watch on the stars. She always knew there was other worlds out there- and still do. She believes there's trillions of them out there, going against the teachings of the orphanage that there was only a few.

"Darkness... It's Darkness...! What are these things...?! Matt! Father! Where are you?!"

The girl jolted awake, almost knocking down her telescope onto the ground. She has barely gotten any sleep due to her 'work' but it was well worth it. She took a close look at the constellations, marking down any different patters in her log.

"This area is different... Another star went out. That's the fifth one this week. By tomorrow we're going fo have a least five new people with how things are going..." She uttered to herself, nibbling at her pen.

Meanwhile, a small grunt was heard as a young teen awoke from the top bunk of his bunk bed. The teen- a young man named Keith wasn't really a heavy sleeper. Move a piece of paper in the room and he'll notice it. It was no wonder then that he noticed Pidge missing from the top bunk of the bed across the room.

Keith wipped his hand on his face tiredly and picked up his pillow to whack it at Lance's face down below. Harsh yes, but Lance could sleep through a fire.

"Lance." Keith uttered, smacking Lance again with the pillow. "Lance. Where's Pidge?" Honestly that was a stupid question, but oh well. Waking up Lance in the middle of the night was fun. The only thing bad about it was hearing the male complain.

(I didn't really know what sleeping arrangements you wanted but bunk beds are always fun)

Keith crossed his arms and shook his head. They had enough on their hands and Keith sure as hell didn't want to have to deal with three annoying little kids getting in their way. This was only the first world, so far.

"With how bad they sound, maybe they'll come to us."

Pidge hummed as she stroked her chin in thought. Luckily for her she seemed to have a few ideas in mind.

"To find a couple of juvenile delinquents you gotta think like one!" She was going to use the word kid, but she knew everyone would comment about how she was one still. "What if we set a trap for them? We could put something in the town that they'll definitely want to mess up. Like a cake or something?"

Jack chuckled at the young one's idea. "You may be the least terrifying one here, but you do have quite a brain if I do say so myself! Lucky for us, I know just where to look. They're probably with Oggie Boogie about now."

Meanwhile the witch, Shock crossed her arms she kicked the Heart with her boot.

"But it's not doing anything!" She whined, looking down at the heart in childish anger. "This thing is stupid!" When she heard Oogie's voice, she looked up to see the bag of bugs over them. She grinned and ripped the heart away from her comrades do show it to him.

"This is the heart thing that's supposed to tell the Heartless what to do!"

"...Oogie Boogie?" Now that was just funny. Lance howled in laughter, chuckling loudly as he smirked at himself. "What kind of name is that?!" Lance asked between his chuckles. "He's a mean monster that's what he is." Sally insisted. "I don't like the idea of them taking something so dangerous with Boogie." "I have to agree. If this Boogie guy is as mean as they say, maybe him having something that can screw around with the Heartless isn't the best idea." Hunk added. Shiro gently rubbed the back of his head. Well crap. Things were definitely starting to get out of hand. "Alright. Jack, you know this place better than any of us. Lead the way to Boogie and lets get that heart back!" Shiro insisted.

...

Oogie Boogie tilted his head at the sight of the Heart. He became intrigued once he was told what it was capable of. "Is that so?" Oogie Boogie asked, a dark chuckle escaping his lips as he took the Heart into his hands. "Well well well, this could make things more fun than I could have ever made them. Hm...how does it work?" Oogie Boogie wondered. He shook it around, tapping it and getting it to his hear to try to get to see if something happened. Nothing. He was quick to anger. "Grrr, come on! Why won't you WORK?!" Oogie yelled, loudly stomping on the ground. His anger, negative emotions, soon began to influence the Heart, and around them, Heartless began to show up. Oogie looked around, amused by the reaction. He waved the Heart around, only to see the Heartless follow the Heart through their gaze. Oogie chuckled. "I see. So they're attracted to anger." Oogie smirked, chuckling evilly. "Well then, lets see how ANGRY can I get!" Oogie yelled, the darkness spreading as even more Heartless began to appear. This was something Oogie would definitely like.

Keith rubbed his neck. This was going to be a long day.

"Boogie? That sounds more like the Boogeyman to me." He uttered, although the Boogeyman never really bothered him, even as a kid. He always knew the story was bullshit- at least in his world it was. "We can't waste anymore time. There's enough Heartless here as it is."

Pidge couldn't help but shiver at Keith's comment.

"B-Boogeyman?" She asked. Pidge on the other hand was actually deep down scared of the tale. She always tried to use her scientific reasoning to get over that fear, but no matter what happened, she always did not like the idea of her closet being open at night while she slept. "I mean, well, it's not like there is a thing that exists called the Boogeyman..."

Jack smiled at his group of Knights, placing his literal bony hand on Hunk's shoulder.

"Right you are my yellow friend!" He announced with glee. "There is no time to waste! We're off to get that heart back!" With that, he went forward, leading his group.

"Why do I feel like this guy isn't really that reliable..." Keith uttered to himself as he went along.

Meanwhile Shock jumped up with glee at the heart working.

"Oooo! With this stuff, we'll be able to come up with the most foulest, despicable pranks yet!" She chimed, taking off her mask to gloat.

Barrel nodded, going along with everyone as always. "Yeah!"

Lance was the first to speak up to Pidge. "Well, I don't know, Pidge. Jack exists, all that we have seen so far exists, I think that there is a good chance that the Boogeyman exists, and seeing that you're the youngest here..." Lance spoke, before suddenly grabbing Pidge by the shoulders. "He'll grab you!" He hissed, trying to scare Pidge. However was stopped by Shiro, who glared at him with the Dad LookTM . "Lance!" Shiro scolded, Lance chuckling to himself before walking over to Hunk. "Come on, lets find that Heart." And with that, Lance followed behind Jack, almost imitating the way he walked. Shiro sighed softly, looking over at Sally. "We'll get the Heart back." With that, Shiro followed Jack. Hunk nudged Pidge slightly. "It's ok Pidge. Even if the Boogeyman exists, we should be able to fight him off!" Hunk insists.

Oogie Boogie chuckled. "Sure," He began. "Pranks." He hummed, looking around at the Heartless. "I'll give everyone the biggest scare yet! Then I, Oogie Boogie, will be the new, the better, the scarier, pumpkin king!" He chuckled rather evilly, looking over at the Heartless. "Now lets see what you can do. Find Jack Skellington, and make sure that the next time his head falls from his body, it never snaps back on!" With that, the Heartless disappeared, off to follow the orders. As far as Oogie knew, this was a new weapon he could use to his advantage, not knowing how it slowly began to eat his heart away.

Pidge almost jumped three feet into the air after getting grabbed by Lance. Out of reflex she practically jumped on Shiro for protection, only to scold Lance after it was over.

"Lance! Knock it off!" Pidge yelled to him, obviously upset at the older male teasing her.

Keith rolled his eyes and grabbed Lance by a collar, giving a warning to reinforce Shiro's.

"Remember I'm a vampire, puppy." Keith teased himself, walking along as well. He couldn't help but shake his head at Lance's walk.

Pidge sighed as she walked along with Hunk. "Thanks..."

Jack grinned, proudly raising his hand upwards in cheer as he went along.

"Knights of Halloween, unite!"

Meanwhile, Shock jumped up in joy.

"This going to be the best Halloween ever!"

Lock looked up to Oogie, jumping up to reach husband height.

"Can we go too? I wanna see the look on their faces!"

Barrel fell over in the bathtub at all the commotion. "Hey!"
