Re:coded launch event details.

Square Enix have released new details relating to the Re:coded launch event on their Kingdom Hearts Facebook page. Re:coded will be released in North American on January 11, 2011, however the launch event will be held on January 9, 2011. The following was also revealed.

Come to the NYC launch event and get your copy of Re:coded two days before it officially hits the streets, and take home some sweet Kingdom Hearts schwag!

We know it's gonna be cold outside of the Re:coded launch event, so we'll make sure there's plenty worthwhile inside Nintendo World. How's a photo booth for starters?

Want another good reason to come to the NYC Kingdom Hearts Re:coded event? There will be a drawing for a chance to win one of five lithographs, signed by Tetsuya Nomura himself! Details to follow!

Why didn't this stay on the homepage? People in New York City may have lived two blocks from the event and didn't even know it.

It is on the homepage.

I assume you mean "why didnt it stay at the top of the homepage". If this is the case, it's because new Kingdom Hearts news was released since, and I'm not going to hold back reporting about that.
