Yesterday, the Jump Festa 2009 event started in Japan. This event, held by Square Enix, covers information on all of their upcoming games. Not much news is available yet, however yesterday a lot of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days news was released.

Unfortunately, independent have stated that Square have delayed release of the game until Spring 2009. This is between March and May in Japan. Square Enix's Jump Festa 2009 website have confirmed this delay.

Also, a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days was shown. This trailer was in a closed theatre, so it is not available to view online. However, The Light in Chaos and FF&KH Online have written up a summary of the trailer. You can read it below:

I can't wait to see this trailer (when ever it comes out)! When it said "coming this spring," that's ment for Japan? Did they move the relese date AGAIN??!! If they keep moving it in Japan, it gets moved farther for the US! ughs!

Nah, that's unlikely. If it gets delayed in Japan, then it will take longer to be released in USA too.
