Kingdom Hearts cutscene archive: Update 3

We announced earlier that we are recording all cutscenes from Kingdom Hearts. All scenes can be viewed and downloaded from our video archive, please check this out here, we are very proud of the quality. So far, we've added 180 scenes. We believe this is the best quality on the net, being HD 720p. Here is what we've added today:

Kingdom Hearts 3D possibly to be released in April 2012

Previously, we knew that Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance was set for a Spring 2012 release in Japan (Spring runs from March to May). Now, according to a flyer submitted to GoNintendo, the game is going to be released in Japan during April 2012. We're not sure if the flyer is legit or not, but, it seems reasonable. If true, it also announces a "Leaf Green" color for the Nintendo 3DS. What do you think? Leave a comment at our forum. Thanks to Seishinmahou from GameFAQs for the tip.

Kingdom Hearts 3D confirmed for Spring 2012 release

Nintendo has posted a news release which mentions Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. The release confirms the Spring 2012 release for Japan, and puts the game above other titles which are also "Spring 2012". This could mean it will be early in the time period (which runs from March 2012 to May 2012), or, it could be random.
The main purpose of Nintendo's news release was to announce a new color of Nintendo 3DS, the new "Ice White" color. This will release on November 3, and join the Aqua Blue, Cosmo Black and Flare Red, and the Misty Pink, which releases on October 20. Thanks to andriasang.com for the tip.

Kingdom Hearts cutscenes coming soon

We'll have the first batch downloadable tomorrow.
Hi everyone! Just a small update today. Firstly, we're happy to say that we've been recording the cutscenes from the original Kingdom Hearts (if you didn't see, we had a 17-hour marathon livestreamed on the front page earlier this week), and we should have these up downloadable soon! Exciting stuff, keep checking back (or, if you're really impatient, you can get a sample of the quality by looking at our recent videos on YouTube).
Secondly, we've made a dedicated thread for our livestreams, which we hope to do more of, and we will also be treating this thread like a blog, giving regular updates about what we've been working on at KH13. Hope you enjoy. :)

Jump Festa 2012 date announced

The dates for Jump Festa 2012 have been announced on the website for the event. Jump Festa 2012 will run from December 17 to December 18, in 2011. Square Enix are confirmed to appear, and as they do every year, they will most likely be featuring the Kingdom Hearts series. Jump Festa is usually when we get a new trailer and a lot of new information, so it's almost certain that Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance will get this treatment at the event. Stay tuned for more.

Famitsu.com has updated with an article about Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. While the article does not include any new information, it does however contain 16 new screenshots, as well as a render of a new district in Traverse Town, and an avatar of Sora in his new outfit. Kingdom Hearts 3D details revealed in Famitsu

According to andriasang.com, this weeks Famitsu contains an interview with Tetsuya Nomura regarding Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. In the article, Nomura comments that Dream Drop Distance is "60 to 70 percent complete and due out in Spring 2012". Our translator sqexgal has translated some of the interview contents from Honkanko-Alt. You can read the whole translation at our forum. We suggest you do this, because it is quite long. Synopsis of extended Kingdom Hearts 3D trailer

According to various Japanese blogs, including FF-Reunion, two different versions of the Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance trailer were shown at Tokyo Game Show 2011. The trailer which has already appeared online, seen in the post below, is the short version. An extended version of the trailer also exists (but hasn't appeared online), however, Tgirl has translated a synopsis of it from ReBirth Wings.

Radiant Garden. The viewpoint is shaky; the laboratory is in ruins as if an explosion occurred. It seems to be from young Xehanort’s POV. For a moment, Even and Ienzo are shown collapsed too. Braig: Xehanort! What were you thinking?
As if something clicked when he heard those words, his shaky POV focuses on Braig.
Braig: Have your memories returned?
Xehanort summons a Keyblade.
He brandishes it towards Braig and seems on the verge of blacking out.
