i say optional loosely here cause I know the limit cut is very much not optional at all, but it's not part of the main package technically nothing in kingdom hearts is ever truly optional, but I can pretend I don't have to sacrifice my soul in order to fully experience the series

It does prove though that they are very capable of good enemy/combat design in general so yeah seeing a little more of that in non optional content would be nice.

Hopefully the acquisition of build will at least be acknowledged to some capacity? Considering we've seen that Sora does not have that command during the Darkside fight

Yeah that would make sense, I keep forgetting how much of this game is going to be a lot of the versus 13 we didnt get

I'm really interested in the character switching thing, curious if that will only be for the Donald/Goofy playable segments, or if that's maybe teasing you can do it at will later into the game with select party members. Might not be to big of a stretch to see a little bit of bleed over in system mechanics from the FF7R series, considering Nomura was lead of the first and creative director of the second.
