  1. "Eliza, I'm not going to steal your bed, you idiot," Raiden said, turning away and kneeling down to drop Ruru to the floor. Without saying anything, he turned back around and hugged her anyway. "You need the rest, anyway. You're on your feet all day," he mumbled.
  2. "Mm-hm? What is it?" Raiden asked, still stroking his fingers along the back of Ruru's head.
  3. Jake took his usual short cut, and ended up slipping around, wandering around mindlessly outside.
  4. "Huh..." Raiden dropped his gaze to the floor, unsure of what to say, or to do. In an attempt to avoid talking, he focused his attention on Ruru, lifting the cat higher in his arms, hugging her against his chest.
  5. "C'mon," Raiden smiled briefly, not quite sure what to say. "I don't think he'd want to see you like this, if he was here. Am I right?"
  6. In the meantime, Raiden had realised it was probably about time he got dressed while Eliza was still out of the room and he could get to his clothes. After tugging them all back on, and surpressing a grimace at how messy they looked, he picked up Ruru in an attempt to stop her meowing for food. When he heard the door click, Raiden went over to it, stroking Ruru's head as he looked down at Eliza, slightly worried. "Want to talk about it?" he offered.
  7. Standing up and tugging his bag over his shoulder, Jake ambled out of the classroom, turning and taking the opposite direction to the rest of the class- going in the wrong direction.
  8. Raiden rolled his eyes, not trying to stop Ruru sniffing him. "I don't like snot, if I'm being specific."
  9. Okay, time for something a little more complicated. Jake sat forwards in his seat, leaning onto the front two legs as he struggled, trying to force the minute hand ahead.
  10. "Well, what ELSE are you going to do? Cry in there all night?!" Raiden retorted, taking a moment to crouch down and shake his finger in front of Ruru's face.
  11. The teacher seemed to get tired of trying to scold Jake, since the boy just stared up at him, looking highly unimpressed, the whole time. Eventually, the teacher walked back to the front of the room, leaving Jake with a week's detention and a slight headache. Tucking his legs under the desk and slumping forwards onto it, Jake tried to practise a little more, by throwing other people's pencils and pens at the board while the teacher's back was turned.
  12. "Open the door!" he shouted back, looking down and shaking his head at Ruru.
  13. Jake owned up after a few false accusations, believing that saying he was merely innocently practising his powers would keep him out of trouble. It didn't, and once the teacher was done yelling at him, he was outraged to find that he had been nagged at partly BECAUSE he wasn't very adept at controlling the objects he moved- and that they had actually dared to push the "you'll never graduate from this school" button.
  14. (So does my best friend. But his is pretty scuzzy anyways. This neat freak Zuko would refuse to go near it. ) Raiden waited a few moments for her to reply, pressing his ear against the door in an attempt to hear what was going on. It was very muffled, but he caught the crying, just about. "Elizaaaaa...!" He started tapping harder at the door, annoyed by how whiny and petulant his voice had sounded.
  15. Jake glanced around the room for a moment, knowing he was already in the teacher's bad books so there wasn't much point in actively pretending to pay attention. He caught sight of the coffee, and traced it to the source- Emi- pretty quickly, since she was the only one not giving the teacher her full attention. He narrowed his eyes, trying to move the mug itself a few inches off, to confuse her- but it flew right off the desk, and Jake cussed.
  16. "I might have a bad memory, but I KNOW there is NOT food in a bathroom," he sighed to himself, glancing out of the window for a moment before making his way over to the closed bathroom door. Raiden knocked, clearing his throat. "You're not sick, are you?" he called through the door.
  17. "You're late," Jake chorused along with the teacher as he came through the door- well, he had gotten to the point that he could say it with every teacher. In fact, ten minutes after class started was quite early for him. Usually, half an hour was about his average. Slumping into the seat and dumping his bag on the floor, he propped his feet up against the desk and yawned openly, stretching his arms out in front of him and cracking his elbows. It wasn't that he didn't sleep, or he had some horrible walking impediment; Jake just tended not to bother about time. He sometimes missed classes completely, that is, if he wasn't napping through them.
  18. Over by the window, Raiden jumped, clutching the blanket in surprise. "...Eliza? You alright?" he spoke out.
  19. Yaaaaaay~! Name: Jake Age: 16 Power: Telekinesis- moving objects with your mind. I think. xDD /shot Appearence: Blond, messy surf-esque hair that tends to tangle in his face; green eyes; pale. Tends to alter the school uniform as much as he can- wearing hooded tops instead of the school jumper/blazer, vans instead of smart shoes, etc, etc...
  20. Raiden tried to fall asleep himself, but every time he started to drift off Eliza would make some kind of noise and wake him up. Huffing a sigh, he decided to get up and stroke Ruru for a bit- pulling the blanket around him as a makeshift cloak as he headed over, so he was covered up properly. "You're a strange one..." he murmured to the cat.
  21. "Kitty, go back to bed..." Raiden hissed, flapping a hand hopelessly at Ruru. He hadn't been listening particularly hard whenever Eliza had said her name, so he was going with "kitty" and hoping she'd get the gist of it.
  22. Raiden shushed Ruru, poking his head out from under the covers, putting a finger to his lips in the hopes she would get the message.
  23. Seeing they were both asleep, Raiden crept back in. He was all set to grab his clothes until he realised that most of them had been thrown towards Ruru... and Eliza was in the way. Not wanting to scare the crap out of her by waking her up, he instead just crawled back down onto the mat and tugged the blanket up around himself, the towel ending up working as a second blanket for him.
  24. It took Zane physically shaking him by the shoulder for Zack to realise she'd been talking to him. Wiping his hands off on his jeans, he held his hand over the shadow beneath him- and, with an exhausted sigh, managed to produce her sketchbook, relatively unscathed. "...Not right now." he mumbled.
  25. Deciding he was pretty much done with the bath, Raiden tugged the plug out, huffing with irritation when his damp hair kept falling over his eyes. After a moment's deliberation, he decided to just leave the dagger where it was for the time being- it wasn't like he'd forget it when he left.
