  1. ((Guess you found some more steamy ShiftLift pics ;D Well really one steamy and the others kinda' inquiring but yeah )) Splendid blush darkly, backing up immediately to get some room between the two of them, sputtering like an idiot. He hadn't intended on that to happen at all. Not saying he didn't like it but--No, stop it! Don't think like that when he's right there! "Sorry, I just slipped I swear! I would never do something like that!" He panicked, flailing his arms about and wearing a frantic look of surprise. He didn't want Flippy to think he had tried pulling a stunt like that on purpose. Though given the fact that they were in public, Splendid would have glomped him when it was just the two of them. Not when they were surrounded by crititical and judgmental students.
  2. ((Oh that sounds goooooood I got a shit ton of candy and a new journal to write down our RP into a story once it's done or like, half-way done )) Flaky blinked, touched by his words and nodded, gathering her things and getting ready to her next class while Flippy left. She had meant to ask him if they'd like to practice their lines at her house tomorrow or something but she figured she could wait till the next day. They were just being friends, she didn't want to rush it by immediately asking him over to her house. ~ Splendid was like a bullet speeding through the halls to get to the Drama room where he and Flippy had last parted. He was looking forward to seeing him and in talking. He actually had a bit of a request that he was sure his friend would take up to nicely, his emotions eager and about to burst. Finally he saw Flippy and waved like an idiot. However, he found he couldn't stop his running as he slipped on the tile and promptly slammed into Flippy and landing into the wall. Breathing heavily Splendid gave a shaky smile, looking up at Flippy while simultaneously realizing he was dangerously close to his face. Oh firetruck. "A-Ah...hey buddy." ((If I disappear I'm eating dinner. I'll text you when I'm done eating ))
  3. ((I'm all for reviving this thread x3 Rosie is hardly online though whis is tough for my OC but whatevs )) Destiny's sharp ears pricked at the sound of yet another Striker. Her voice echoed in the night calling out for the one they seemed to be fighting; Rust. A smirk curled onto her lips. The fools. Why would they do such a thing? They've now given them another oppurtunity to gain information. Not to mention, the Striker force would now be down two numbers once defeated. Destiny gave a low giggle of insanity, an eerie lilt of humming rattling through her throat as her crimson eyes glinted darker. Her true side was coming out. "Yes Rust come out come out wherever you are little Striker~! Let's have some fun and play a game!" Destiny giggled, attempting to stifle it but instead having it turn out to malevolent and slightly maniacal. Her sadistic side was escaping it's tight confines--she was about to let loose and it didn't matter that it was right in front of Zeph.
  4. ((How was your time with your family?)) Flaky looked up at him, giving a weak laugh at his comment. She was glad he hadn't ridiculed her or made fun of how she probably had the inability to do Dance like Giggles or Petunia may have done. He was...He was like and different Flippy. He wasn't the same cruel, unkind, and sadistic Flippy that had dropped her self-esteem to a dangerously low level. He was really being sincere and kidding around with her like and actual friend. Looking at him fully and trying to keep the stutter out of her voice, Flaky respond back, playing with her nails carefully. "I'm sorry, it's just a force of h-habit, y'know?" She could have cursed under her breath for the falter in her words but was glad there had only been one hesitation instead of many like always. "It's not everyday someone...well someone part of your crowd associates the word 'friend' with my group..."
  5. At that question Flaky's blush was cued and she looked around to make sure no one else was looking. It'd be quite embarrassing to have this told around the school if someone else overheard. Her world would then be ruined. Clearing her throat and occupying herself with a loose thread on her shirt she answered, amber eyes darting around the classroom like crazy. "Ah...w-well, there was an Elective on the list for s-some students to do Dance. It serves as an extra-c-curricular and would have gotten me out of Gym too. I wanted to do that...'specially since in each class it'd only be you and the instructor so you got to work solo." She blushed even darker, giving an awkward laugh. "But you know parents. Always want you to try and shine brighter than the rest..." Which was true in terms of her mother. She was thrilled when she hear she ha gotten the part of Juliet (even if she knew there hant been an audition). Flaky's mom was the type of parent who was proud of whatever her child pursued but wasn't exactly...let's just say her mom wanted her to do more. To try and be the perfect daughter, the perfec teenage girl. Like Giggles or Petunia. And the saddest thing was that Flaky knew her mom felt that way. She knew her mom would rather a different daughter but she still loved Flaky to much to be anything but the mother she needed.
  6. Flaky gave a soft smile, looking up at Flippy with understanding eyes. She had note his skills weren't exactly expert acting or anything of the sort but at least he could get through his lines without mumbling. But it made her a bit happier to know she wasn't the only one who was bad at this kind of thing. Placing the script down to her lap she looked around at the others practicing, a thoughtful look flitting across her face with small hints of exasperation. "I knew I shouldn't h-have let my mum choose my Elective. I told her I was better of doing things like th-this in my own time..." She stated, surprised when she wasn't filled with humiliation at the mere mention of her mom picking her Elective. Guess Flippy was easier to talk to in such situations like this compared to most kids that were in the classification of Cool.

Guess I'll be the serious one here? I've been told my advice is helpful on this topis so here we go... Listen. I don't know you peronally, I don't know you formally, in fact I hardly know you at all. But here's a good reason for why you shouldn't just off yourself. I care. Think about it for a moment. Someone who doesn't know you even on a first name basis cares enough to tell you don't do it. And that's proof right there that you clearly are not useless or always ignored or anything. If your "friends" are ignoring you I think it's time you gave them a reality check to tell them you want to be noticed by asking then to a movie or to hang out. If that's ignored, guess what? It's time to get new friends. As for the cutting and suicide thing in general I know where you're coming from. Really, I do. And I'm not gonna' say it's way to get those feelings away because it's not. As of recent events I myself am feeling really...really upset with myself. But thanks to my friends I know that suicide isn't an option and neither is cutting to make the pain go away. Instead expressing yourself and your need to be noticed through pain do it through clothing. Dress outrageous when your home alone or going to a place where you don't know anyone that would get back at you for doing something so different. Sing your heart out even if you have a bad voice to your favorite song that fit the mood or are upbeat and make you happy. Just don't hurt yourself. I really hope that helps.
  8. You're welcome Kinode I'm just glad to see you happy and confident like I know you should always be.
  9. ((Sorry, I was doing the dishes ^^')) Flaky was impressed with Flippy's ability to multi-task. She wasn't blind. She could tel he was listening to both their group and the others surrounding them. The lot of them really weren't all that bad or of a disappointment. Much better then her in speaking terms. She fumbled over te old-style words and knew for a fact she was speaking to quietly for her part of Juliet. As she finished a complex line in which she had several mess-ups, she sighed, sinking in the beanie chair slightly. "Did she ever choose the wrong person for this role..." She whispered to herself, shaking her head. It was true on so many levels to. Couldn't the teacher have chosen a feminine looking male in the class? Shed have better a chance for a good performance then.
  10. Kinode, listen. I won't say that life moves onto heal whatever has hurt you or traumatized you in the past. Because very recently I've discovered that isn't true. But I will say this. If you think everyone hates you, if you think you have no life and that it's wasted on the Internet then that's what you'll really believe. Any negative thoughts you have or had that you allow to remain in the back of your head will grow and start to become a reality to you. So here's my over-due advice: Don't let it happen. Don't let yourself think that life has no purpose, don't let yourself think that you have no life, and don't let yourself think that you are ever unnecessary or abnormal. Who cares if people call you gay. Turn around and slap a bitch by telling them to think what they want and that you don't give a damn. Who cares if whatever traits you have make you different or "not normal". Dude, in this world, nothings normal. Besides, who's to say what's normal and what isn't. Unless they have an official title of "Decider of The Norm' " they're probably just some douchebags who decided to self-appoint themeselves God of the Universe. Kinode you're a really nice person and if you don't like the ways things are start by getting up and changing it yourself to show people you're a human being to and thatthey mean nothing to you if all they're going to do is insult you. You're never going to see them again anyway once you Graduate high school right? That's my advice to you and I say it because I went through something similar and someone slapped me across the face with the facts of life by telling me what I've just told you. Please don't think you're nothing, you're perfect just the way you are no matter anyone says
  11. ((LOL AT THAT LAST LINE. Honey, I wouldn't let Flippy kiss Flaky even if I supported that couple with all of my heart )) Flaky saw the look shot at her by Flippy and debated internally on whether his eyes were saying this was a good thing or a bad thing. It was clear he wasn't content in having the part of Romeo at all but he really hoped that wasn't because she was Juliet. Oh for the--She was Juliet! The kissing scene?! No. No, no, nononono. She couldn't do that. She didn't want to do that! She wanted her first kiss (she was ashamed to be a Junior and not have had her first kiss yet) to be someone she really adored and loved. Not Flippy. Sure he was...well he was attractive but not who she wanted to share a quick kiss with.... The Drama Teacher looked over the class as a whole and grinned happily. She already had the cast set out in er mind and the scripts ready out of excitement and knowledge of how much hard work this play would take. "Alright, now that are dilemma is gone I'll split you into groups of two for today so you may go over the script," Everyone gave a half-hearted groan at the sight of the thick packet. "And know your roles." Of course those who interacted the most were paired together. So naturally for today Flippy and Flaky were paired up and the other roles as well. Toothy was working with Nutty, ect. Flaky held her script with careful fingers, her hair dulled in comparison to her cheeks. Great, just great...
  12. ((Pfft, could you imagine )) Flaky felt her breath hitch when she looked and saw Flippy enter the Drama classroom announcing he was to replace Lumpy. She hadn't expected him to be in this class, let alone as a replacement. It made her both nervous and excited though to see that she'd be sharing her first class since, what, 4th grade with the teen? Nervous because she was a horrible actress on the side that she was to shy and quiet to really broadcast her voice to anyone. She was afraid her lack of performance skills would drive her newfound friend away. Excited because there was someone who she'd hopefully be able to be comfortable around. But then it occured to her. She was Juliet. If he was replacing Lumpy that meant he'd most likely be-- "By Gods I didn't think there could be anyone better for Romeo then our deceased Lumpy but you my boy," Suddenly the shed tears that the teacher couldn't stop just moments ago vanished and was replaced with a look as if she had seen God. "You are better for the part then that boy with the earrings was. Everything about you just screams Romeo." The teacher complimented. Flaky absentmindedly wondered where her sadness had disappeared to but then it occurred to her (as she was in the middle of trying not to panic from seeing Flippy) that the Drama Teacher was probably an actress. Crying to fool a crowd was maybe one of her specialties.
  13. Splendid gulped, stepping back slightly from the hand Flippy had put up. He nodded, scratching the back of his head with a small smile, avoiding Flippy's gaze. He couldn't lie looking directy into those emerald green gems. When they sought the truth they ways found it. After all, what Flippy wants, Flippy gets. "Y-Yeah. I'm fine, just tired you know? Been a rough morning and all with what's been going on and stuff..." The bluenette trailed off, feeling his cheeks heat up all over again. It was only ever around his best friend to. If that didn't make it obvious to any of their friends paying close enough attention he didn't know what did. "And aren't I always a little off from the norm'?" Splendid asked, attempting to joke around a bit with a half-hearted smile.
  14. Splendid saw Flippy and gave a soft wave, still feeling his paranoid thoughts rage in a confusing jumble around the confines of his mind. The sight of his best friend did calm him slightly though, his hands ceasing in their abnormal tremoring. That was a first. His hands had never done that before. He must have really been over stressing it. "Hey," He greeted with the biggest smile he could muster, moving his blue bangs out of his face to which they just fell back into place regardless. "How was Gym?" He questioned, knowing full well Flippy probably hadn't done anything other than text him replies fir most of the period. ~ Flaky had to do something. Students that were sitting in the room were giving The Drama Teacher the oddest stares--she couldn't just let her get judged. As quietly as she could manage, Flaky stepped over to the Drama Teacher's desk, tapping her arm softly. "I-I'm sure everything'll be--" "Don't you dare say fine young lady!" The teacher snapped, standing upright. Everyone in the room sensed a drama-fit coming upon them now, especially Flaky who began taking a few uncertain steps backwards. "It's never a fine thing to lose the star of the show! Oh Romeo, he was such a fine role to be played by Lumpy. And those glorious earrings. Oh the horror~!"
  15. ((Lol smooth I kinda' blushed when you described Flippy \(//∇//)\ )) Splendid read over Flippy's text with a sigh before he slipped his phone back into his sweatshirt pocket, looking down at his hands while everyone packed up. He tried imagining Flippy's fingers fitting into the spaces left in-between his and almost right away his heart got all fluttery, giving him the chills. Yeah, he really liked the idea of holding hands with Flippy. Maybe...Maybe someday it'd be more. Shaking that thought from his head, Splendid packed up his stuff before the bell rang, signalling all the students to file out of the classes. What slightly disgusted him as he made his way to the Boy's Locker Room to meet with his best friend was the conversations he overheard. They were the normal for his school and it's attendees, talk of parties, hanging out, and which boy/girl was the hottest. But nothing about Lumpy. You'd thing that after such a horrible experience people would be concerned with his death. That they'd be joking about good times with the arrogant bluenette in loving memory. But then it occurred to Splendid that Lumpy probably didn't have many friends in general. He cheated on girls, he stole other guys' girlfriends, and he was ridiculously full of himself. No one missed him. And then the the 'what if' thoughts started forming, a look of terror and concentration drawn across his face while he thought, waiting for Flippy. What if I was to die? Would anyone miss me? Would Flippy miss me? What if he didn't?! No, he's not mean...right? Oh God what if no one comes to my funeral? What if...What if...??!! Splendid groaned in unhappiness, obviously not enjoying his indulgence in his less-then pleasant thoughts. ~ Flaky was right about the Drama Teacher's reaction. She was destroyed, distraught, a complete and utter mess. the poor woman was sprawled out on with her top half on her desk and her legs sitting her in a kneeling position on the ground. Her messy bun was unravelled (her hair still looked very pretty down) revealing mid back length crimson red hair that made Flaky envious. It was long like hers but it was really smooth looking--like those women with the amazing hair in the shampoo/conditioner commercial. Flaky wanted hair like that, hair to make her look somewhat pretty... She was curled in the far corner, fiddling with a strand of her hair, frowning at it's texture and small split ends. Her mom had insisted it looked beautiful long but she desperately needed the split ends cut off. She liked the length but with a sigh Flaky had realized all to many times that it was intolerable to handle. Raising her amber eyes up to the Drama Teacher she found her fanning her eyes and cheeks where their were evident mascara cheeks. Even then she looked so pretty. Flaky hated this feeling of envy. Why couldn't she work makeup like that? Why couldn't she work being anything but ugly?
  16. ((Bet you can guess what he's doing after he declines his hang out time with Flippy ;D THAT LAST LINE MADE ME GIGGLE SOOOO BAD <333)) Now Splendid was really blushing, his navy eyes widened in happiness and an irresistible smile unable to be forced down. Splendid's hand covered his mouth slightly, trying to hide his sudden glee before he blinked and realized with a stunned expression he was...Holy shit was he crying? Good thing the teacher was busy grading papers or else that'd be hard to explain... He was sure that Flippy had only meant it as a close friendship sort of way but that's why it touched him so. Never, for as long as they were friends, had the green haired teen say something so sweet and caring towards him. If Splendid wasn't head over heels in love with him before he was now. The only downfall to his crush was that he may never have his feelings returned. But that was okay as long as Flippy was still there for him. I...thank you Flippy. You really have no idea how much you've brightened up my day with that :')
  17. ((-spits out drink-AWWW, that's so cute!!! I made Easter Eggs and drew in them with crayon and I made Mr. Pickles )) Splendid felt his breath hitch in seeing Flippy's reply, his thumbs wavering, unsure of what to type. He knew Flippy hadn't meant it in a romantic kind of way--that wasn't how he was. But Splendid couldn't help but think of how that might tempt him if he was lacking in self-control on a particular day. Sure Splendid was usually really good at controlling his actions and emotions but he had his days. And if anyone asked, those were the days Splendid would politely decline Flippy's to hang out and...er, well you get the point I suppose. Finally he decided that, what the hell, might as well give it a go. It's not like they'd be holding hands in the hallways or anything, probably just when they were alone hanging out at Splendid's house or Flippy's. Oh God this was going to be harder than he thought. Ah, sure, I guess ^^' Can I ask why though with the sudden question?
  18. Splendid blushed a bright red, covering his mouth to hide his wide smile and touched look. That was really unexpected of Flippy to say to him. Sure he been told he was cool, nice, and fun to hang out with. But he never expected the words sweet to describe him to come out of Flippy's mouth, or, fingers rather. Sweet? Lol, who are you and what have you done with Flippy But really, thanks I guess~
  19. ((Okay, I'm making Easter Eggs so don't worry if I disappear, I'll text you when I get back so make sure your phone is on.)) Splendid paled a bit in reading Flippy's text. He knows. Oh God Oh God he knows! Just play cool Splendid. Just play. It. Cool. At first he himself hadn't known his true reasons for being so mad at Lumpy but he knew now and for a fact after the party that maybe he had inconveniently fallen in love with his best friend. It was intended on his behalf to do so! It just sort of happened. He supposed that just being around sweaty men in basketball uniforms could do that to you... Looking up for a momentary teachers check he found he was safe so Splendid nervously texted Flippy back, his cheeks flushing a dark red as he attempted at lying. I...I just didn't like the guy y'know? He was a total ass towards girls and he was being a real creeper on you, especially at the party, but I guess...I dunno'. Splendid quickly ended his text, hiding his phone as he pretended to read a select passage from his History textbook quietly to himself.
  20. ((Pfft, I love how he tortures her when Shifty's around but when he's not he's like "whatever".)) Flaky read the note he had sent her over quickly, finding she had to dart her amber eyes over his messy scra twice to confirm what she had read. They hadn't actually taken her things? That was a first. And even Lifty wasn't being a complete, well, ass to her. He wasn't being nice either but it was definitely a better reaction. Hopefully he didn't decide to randomly turn on her... Deciding not to reply, the red-head figured she'd check the Lost and Found after Drama during her Lunch period being she hardly ate anyway. ~ Splendid was in complete shock when he had heard about Lumpy's death via about a million texts he had been sent that morning. Having come in late to school (he had slept in due to his good dream) he had missed the entire ceremony and lecture by just 20 minutes. When be came in to his 3rd period History class he had been surprised to hear of his death. Apparently it had been by alcohol poisoning. That sucked. When he had heard the news though he couldn't help but be slightly upset, immediately thinking of Flippy. What if he was completely torn up over it? Sure he had complained about Lumpy making a few moves on him and dislocated his wrist but what if...what if Flippy felt bad? Oh God he needed to text him. This time being careful to check where the teacher was, Splendid pulled out his phone. Did you hear about Lumpy? What a freak accident...
  21. As class progressed, Flaky sighed, finishing her worksheet. First one done--as always. Now Flippy wasn't any A Track student, she was pretty average for her age bit she'd admit that Math was for some reason her best subject. When she was younger all the numbers confused her along with the switching from multiplication and addition to division and square rooting...but once she hit Freshmen year it all...just started to make sense to her. There was no incomplete marks on her homework anymore because she hadn't understood a question--which pleased her mom greatly. Her dad...well, he wasn't your best student in high-school either so he was proud so long as she passed the grade. Unsure of what to do she got up to ask the teacher behind the desk if she had anything for her to do or if she could just relax. Of course, being a teacher, she told her to get started on that night's homework in her Algebra book. The only problem though: She had lost her Algebra book and History book to on Friday when she was getting tormented by Lifty and Shifty. When she had come back to the Gym after she was sure the twins would be gone she found her stuff missing. Lifty was in her class to. Gulping, Flaky blushed a deep crimson as she quickly scribbled a note and had it passed across two seats to the bored and uninterested Lifty. What did you and your brother do with my things on Friday? Please, I really need those books!
  22. Flaky was surprised to find she was crying throughout the whole entire mourning ceremony for Lumpy. She didn't know him very well and it was clear he hadn't liked her much but still, she couldn't help it. No matter how cruel a person was or how unfairly they acted, no one deserved to die in such a horrible way. Alcohol poisoning was really unfortunate and, for once, the red head was glad she hadn't been asked to attend one of Giggles' infamous house parties. Flaky also noticed that several others were crying to. Lammy was whispering soothing words to Mr. Pickle about how it would never happen to him or her and how he shouldn't worry. Even Nutty and Toothy were looking somewhat upset. Giggles was crying a bit loudly but even Flaky knew Giggles hadnt really known Lumpy all to well. She was probably just upset a death had happened at her house of all places. But Flaky did have to sympathize her for that... What really intrigue her with the whole ceremony though was Flippy's reaction to the news. He looked very uncomfortable and like he didn't want to be in the seat or the school for that matter. It was odd because Flaky didn't figure for him to be squeamish about death but then again, she didn't know much about him. She had missed out on a lot for the past few hours which wasn't much of a surprise. ~ After the whole ceremony and lecture from their deeply troubled principal, Flaky and her fellow students were sent to class and by now 3rd period was just beginning. Of course it was Math of all things but at least she had missed Gym. As she worked on some algebraic equations, it then struck her: Lumpy was in her next class--Drama. Furthermore, he was the leading role of Romeo. She couldn't help but wonder what their poor Drama teacher would do about their missing part.
  23. Splendid smiled down at Flippy, finding his reaction to be one he knew he should treasure. He knew he'd never find Flippy doing that again anytime soon, so he was incredibly gentle to lay Flippy down on his bed while holding him close to his chest. He figured that it was Friday so Flippy wouldn't mind him sleeping over and keeping warm for the night. Playing with a few strands of his green hair, Splendid felt his own eyes sliding shut to which he complied in allowing himself fall asleep. Flippy's bed was incredibly comfy anyway. ~ ((Next Morning, Sunday, or Monday? You pick ))
  24. Splendid felt himself smile as Flippy's grip fell slightly slack, signifying he was asleep. The party really must have worn him out. He tried not to think of what he saw possibly happen between Lumpy and his friend, instead turning slowly around the corner to pull up to Flippy's house. Maybe Lumpy hadn't done anything to Flippy...maybe he was just imagining it. Maybe he should just stop thinking. Splendid pulled to a halt in front of Flippy's house, pulling into the empty driveway. Looks like his mom was out (again) or the car was getting fixed (again). No, Flippy wasn't poor, but he found that his mom was tight on money for herself personally because she worked so hard on making Flippy's life perfect. Deciding that Flippy looked to cute to awaken, he snuck out of the car to the passenger side and opened Flippy's door. He caught the teen as he fell out of the seat--he had a habit of not wearing his seatbelt--and carried him up the driveway to the green haired teen's house, humming happily.
  25. ((BRB, going dress shopping.)) Splendid looked over at Flippy and gve a sad smile, moving his hand over to Flippy's hesitantly and holding it gently as he kept his eyes on the road. When he apologized as cutely as that there was no way he could stay mad at him. "It's okay, really. Don't worry about it." Splendid cooed, giving him a quick glance.
