"I hope so. I would need some one to help me. I'm not sure if animals can get the disease, but why not? Lots of animals have similar immune systems to people. But how would we know?" Alice started to think of ways to get the test animals infected. Where would they keep the animals anyway? "I just hope it won't be to long before most of the country, or world, is infected with this Red Plague."

"I could try to find some kind of cure. I mean...I know a lot of different types of medicines. I could try to find a vaccine and give it to people who are most vulnerable to this...plague." Alice was looking and all of the different medicines, already thinking of which ones could work. ''But I would need a lab rat to test the different vaccines on. I know none of y'all would want to be it...Maybe we should find an actual rat or something to test these drugs on..."

"Guys, if this is the result of a disease, should we find a cure? Or, find a vaccine for ourselves so we can live?" Alice was polishing her new machete. It was so clean now, that she could see her reflection in it. In fact, she could see Mystery staring at her from behind. She blushed and looked away from it. "I think that over all, we should try to save as many lives as we can, as well as our own."

Alice remember what she did to Freak's parents. She burned the bodies along with several others. Alice hugged him. "Freak, I'm sorry about burning your parents bodies. I was still in shock about watching my friends being turned into zombies and eating other people. Please, try to understand I was doing you it you wouldn't have to kill them later on." Alice stopped hugging, and stared at his blank face. She turned away to finish packing her things.

Alice picked up a machete. "Oh. My. God...MYSTERY I LOVE YOU! I FINALLY HAVE A MACHETE!" She started to giggle like a psychopath. Then, she stopped as soon as she saw that everyone was staring at her. "Sorry...I'm a better fighter with things that aren't guns. I'm better with things like machetes so I'm good at close range fighting..." Her face flushed a light shade of pink. No one knew the fighting side to her. Alice then started to take some basic medical equipment and started to fill up her bag with it. Alice knew she was going to live.

"I hope this isn't like some movie were there was some crazy disease and for what ever reason we can't get it." Alice closed her eyes and tried to imagine a world with her and only a few others with. "And no offense to the guys here but I don't want to "repopulate" with any of you."

Alice thought for a second. "I think what we should do is burn dead bodies and find out where the zombies are coming from. If we find out where they're coming from, maybe we can stop them..."

"Mystery you're kinda scary. Thank god you're on our side." She put the medicine down and looked at the group. "Is anyone hurt? I can help you with any wounds or sickness." Everyone looked ok, but she just wanted to make sure.

Alice looked around at the medical supplies. How did Mystery get all of them? "Mystery you have so many meds you looked like you robbed a couple of hospitals and pharmacies." She picked up a bottle of pills, recognizing it easy. Her own mother had to take these a few years ago. "Cancer treatment pills? Mystery, do you really count on someone getting cancer? If you do, y'all are lucky someone here knows how to use some of this stuff."

Alice looked stunned."Umm....I was just joking about the assassin thing. I know you're not really a fighter. You've just been to paintball games right?" There's no way someone in high school knows how to kill. "If you're right...you'll be pretty scary."

Alice followed Mystery. Whatever was going on, this guy knew what he was doing. Maybe this guy is an assassin. Alice laughed a little bit to loudly. She wondered about this guys art. "Mystery...you're like an assassin or something."

Before anyone said anything, Alice gathered up the bodies. She gathered some sticks, set them around the bodies, and started a bonfire. "I don't know about y'all, but I'm gonna gather some more bodies to burn. I don't want to feed those things." Alice gathered more and more bodies, and watched as the tower of them built up. The stench of burning flesh was starting to overwhelm her, but she held in her stomach. When everything was burnt, Alice stared at the pile of human ash. "I think thats good for now." Alice didn't look at anyone.

Alice shivered. The thought of her friends dying and being eaten was getting to her. She started to cry silently. Why was her world changing? Could things me normal again? Was this some kind of curse? "Should we do something with any dead bodies we find?" The crying stopped. "I saw those things...eat...the bodies." Alice choked on the word eat.

(lol sry i left for a bit my laptop needed to charge ) Alice kept the bloody, rusty weapon in her hand as she walked next to Mystery. Its amazing how much her life changed in such a small amount of time. "Thanks for saving me." She kept her eyes fixated on the ground. "But why would you bring guns to school? Did you know this would happen Mystery?"

Alice freed herself from Mystery. She picked up a pair of scissors and started to stab monsters in the head, neck, stomach, wherever. "What the hell are these things? Where are they coming from?" She stabbed one repeatedly as it was trying to eat the body of her dead friend. "These are...zombies? No. Zombies aren't real are they?"

Before Alice could see the monster, she saw Mystery with two hand guns. "Oh my god...YOU'RE A MURDERER!" Alice picked up the dictionary, but before she could hit Mystery with it, a monster picked her up from behind, about to bite her.
