Ok so by now we all know there's 13 darknesses and 7 lights (well actually 13 but anyways) 13 Lights: Riku, Mickey, Ven, Terra, Aqua, Lea, Aurora, Jasmine, Snow White, Alice, Cinderalla, Belle, and Kairi doubles as princess and keyblade wielder. (13) 13 Darknesses: Master Xehanort, Xemnas, Ansem SoD, Braig, Isa, Young Master Xehanort + Whatever hasn't been revealed yet. (I'm thinking Vanitas and a possesed Riku from Kh1 might be added to the mix) Where's Sora in all of this you might ask? He's the one that going to open the door. After all 13 Lights and Darknesses clash, someone has to be there to use the the completed X-Blade right? I think that's the reason why Master Xehanort REALLY wanted Sora.Cuz chances are he's gonna recruit a 13th member even though he failed to recruit Sora. What do you guys think?

Honestly i always thought that maybe Riku was related to Xehanort, maybe as a great uncle or something, and maybe that's why he'd know about someone leaving the island, but even that might be a bit far-fetched...

I really think they'll re-release kh1 and kh2, maybe even kh Re:CoM after all, all these new games come out, but the newest gamers to the franchise most likely never played the first few games, and to be honest i haven't seen a copy of kh1 or kh2 in a very long time, it'd only be a good marketing decision to re-release them, even better if they plan to import their final mix versions, they'd know most of us would be all over that, espescially if it's an hd re-release on ps3...

Very good theory, I actually agree with most of it, but the "fragmentary path" thing might refer to kind of like a fractured story, where we'll witness bits and pieces of what happened behind the scenes in all other games. This might be the game where we see what happens at Radiant Garden as well as how the apprentices fell to darkness and how they recruited the rest of the Organization, I'd bet top dollar that Isa/Saix and Lea/Axel will have a big role to play in this game. Aqua will most likely have a scenario but we can't forget that she's in the Realm of Darkness till at least the end of kh2 when she met Ansem the Wise, so i can imagine that she won't be the only playable character.

I was under the impression the the kh1 clothes were part of the plot, and Nomura wouldn't say anything more about it. I think finding Ven would be a good plot point for 3D, but, to be honest, i think they're gonna keep that for KH3, I think, the ending of 3D will definitely bring us a major plot twist. We've all been thinking that Master Xehanort is the main antagonist, what if, this whole time, Master Xehanort was also a a pawn? Those that have succumbed to the Darkness (Master Xehanort, Braig, even Terra-Xehanort and Vanitas) all have Yellow-ish eyes, what if they were all possessed by something or someone? That's what I think 3D will really be about, finding out who the real enemy is. But that's just my theory....lol

I agree, I was under the impression that she could use a keyblade because of Aqua, whenever someone would take the keyblade from Sora or when Sora gave the keyblade to C. Sparrow in KH2, the keyblade wouldn't stay in other people's hands. Wouldn't the keyblade've just disappeared if she wouldn't be chosen? I dunno, given she's one of the most important characters in the series, she's bound to have a significant role in KH3D, if not, probably in KHIII. Still, it would be cool to have her as some kind of unlockable character, lol to give it a BBS feel, each with their own battle styles, and own storyline.

All very good points, i had forgotten that Riku Harbored Terra's heart. I'm surprised they didn't include kairi as a playable character, since she has a keyblade now.

As much as i want to agree, i think saving terra's gonna be the hard part. It's just a matter of time that they find aqua, and with aqua they can get to Ven. But when Xemnas and Ansem(Heartless) were destroyed maybe the only one that was restored was Apprentice Xehanort,the original entity that lost it's heart. Maybe Master Xehanort taking over Terra's body was somekind of failsafe in his plan, and maybe that's why they need more than 1 master, maybe it's to safely remove Master Xehanort from Terra's body, maybe even with the X-Blade, which would benefit him really since he wants it forged, which would support his plan in the long run. And unless they're interrupted during the Mark of Mastery Exam, and they're given a mission from Yen sid as a substitute test, i highly doubt the whole game is about the Mark of Mastery Exam. That's why i think the plot'll progress with the whole "freeing them from their torment" arc.

I would imagine that 3D'll be like a prologue to KHIII, there's no definite proof, but in my opinion, it takes place after coded/Re:coded. Since all new worlds are to be introduced, it's safe to say that Sora isn't sleeping his year long sleep in this game, because he wouldn't remember places he hasn't been, even if he were to remember the worlds Ventus explored. Which leaves us with the KH1 clothes, i say there's two possible reasons for those: 1-The game is in their early stages and the used those clothes for the time being, or 2-it's story related(a trip to memory lane back in Castle Oblivion, or maybe some Yen Sid magic sends them somewhere, or in another time). I think this game is going to be what Chain of memories was for KH2, it'll setup the plot for KH3. Mickey says they found out where Ventus' heart might be, and he may also know where aqua is too, maybe KH3D is all about taking the Mark of Matery exam, and then go out and find Aqua, so they can wake up Ven. Yen Sid says that they "only" have 1 master, maybe for some reason they litterally need more than 1 for something specific, i think KHIII will be about saving Terra, the end of the "Xehanort Saga" would be epic if Sora and Riku would team up with Aqua,Ven and Terra to take down Master Xehanort on the PS3

In a way, i can't wait for BBS Final Mix comes out, even though i won't be getting it...The new secret movie they'll put in will probably give us a better idea of what will happen next, hopefully anyway... I have a feeling that the whole Master Xehanort thing will have some kind of twist, Maybe Terra'll already be back, and MX actually gets restored as the young Xehanort we see at the beginning of BBS. Maybe the Mysterious figure is Young Master Xehanort... And either he is or not, that Mysterious Figure is important somehow, they wouldn't make him so badass and cool if he didn't have any major roles to play in the overall story. Maleficient and Pete, are pretty much almost guaranteed to come back, i wonder if they're gonna be based in The World that Never Was.

TwilightChaser37 has a point. Do you guys think KH3D is all about them both taking the mark of mastery exam Yen Sid-style? But something i don't get is, why does Mickey say "Now there is only Terra."? Did they already find Aqua? Did i miss something? lol And how does he find Ven's Heart? Well it's in Sora the whole time but how did he find out? And as for the whole Master Xehanort and Riku team up, it would be a horrible plot twist, if Riku becomes an enemy, we won't be able to play as him anymore...lol. Well we know one thing for sure, that will happen, Aqua has to come back because she's the only one who can solve Castle Oblivion to get Ven back. Another thing is, we don't know if Master Xehanort'll come back as himself, or if Terra and MX get restored back as Xehanort(Terranort). Eraqus is also in Terranort's Heart(well in Terra's part anyway) so he might be coming back. Lea will probably come back too, Got that memorized? lol

I think Days, was intended to introduce Xion, and give Roxas a better backstory. And it gave us a glimpse of how the Organization kinda worked. It also gave us the first bit of info on Axel and Saix's "Somebodies", which was later developped more in BBS. As more games come out, we'll eventually notice that they mesh together more and more. Same with ReConnect and Blank Points, they all piece together a big picture.

I thought Nomura had made Days as a gift to fans, because back in the day people were complaining that they didn't know what roxas was doing while Sora was sleeping. By the way, without all these "fillers" you guys are talking about, we'd only have kh 1 and kh 2, and CoM on GBA, so really, without Re:CoM,Days,Coded,BBS,Re:Coded, and 3D, waiting for KH3 would've been a lot longer if you ask me. I dunno, they worked hard to bring us these titles, and i say they were all good games to date, i'm looking forward to Re:coded, even though it's no kh3. And when KH3 does roll around, it'll be worth the wait, it'll be the last piece of the puzzle that'll explain the whole series. I hope they make a game explaining how Radiant Garden fell, and the beginning or Org.XIII, and how numbers VII through XII get recruited. I think that would make a wicked game.

I hope they come out with somekind of anthology for the 10 year anniversary, kh 1 & 2 Final mix for ps3 would even be enough for me Heck, if they throw in Re:CoM with it i'd like it even more. Another good way to celebrate would be a Re:Days with fully voiced story like BBS. But I'm sure Nomura'll manage to pull something off to wow us all one way or another.

That would be awesome actually. Do you guys think that the "Mysterious Figure" optional boss in Birth by Sleep, was intented to be some sort of clue for this game? I've noticed in some vids out there in youtube that sometimes, when the MF gets hit, time goes backwards to before you hit'em and he regains his lost health. Do you think this guy sends Sora and Riku back in time or something? Maybe to uncover stuff they'd need to know. Hopefully this "new secret movie" in Birth by sleep's Final Mix'll give us a bit more info about this game, and when it actually takes place...

Sooner or later we'll probably get them anyways, once the games have been out for a while, i bet they'll all be up for download over on the PSN Store or XBox 360 Marketplace at one point or another, Once the "Xehanort Saga"'s done and over with, don't you guys think they'll come out with some sort of anthology? I really think so, and if that's the case i wouldn't be surprised if they included all the final mixes in the package, it'd be good marketing, since they know we're all complaining that we're not getting any final mix titles, and i bet most of us would be running along to be one as soon as it would come out anyways. So i say, let them go about with their final mixes. Besides, it gives us stuff to look at while the other games are being made .

The Sora dream theory is a good one too, but hatok has a point too, sora wouldn't be remembering new worlds, let alone dream about them. I dunno, i was hoping for advancement in the storyline, and not some sort of "other story", Re:Coded'll be awesome, but it'll probably look like nothing next to a 3DS title, I have a feeling this'll be a Big Game, almost as big if not bigger than BBS. So I'm hoping for something after coded, they might have the kh1 attire because the game is still in early developement too, ya never know. So far, they've pulled off making a series of awesome games, i think their gonna make this one count to sell kh3, maybe even making it it's prequel.

When Nomura says it takes places during the "current" games, the current games maybe meaning the latest ones out, BBS,Coded,and Days. Maybe it does take place after Coded, with the whole "Free them from their torment" thing, considering the story all three of those games gave us, it was basically about those that Sora has to free right? Days had Axel,Roxas and Xion, BBS had Ven,Terra and Aqua, and in coded there was Namin

Yeah, they've revealed VERY little info so far, saying it's in the same timeline, and features sora and riku as playable characters. I guess at this point all we can really do is speculate. Hopefully they release more info soon, as to when the game takes place, and why the theme of the game is "trust".

But things are kinda out of place though, which would point to a Data Sora and Data Riku story. Sora gets new clothes at the beginning of kh2, and has an older appearence, and so does riku. Sora only recieves his keyblade at the beginning of kh1, therefore the story can't be from the past. Destiny islands was destroyed, and only came back at the end of kh1. Traverse town was made out of pieces of worlds that were destroyed by the heartless, after the end of the game, it's assumed that Traverse town no longer exists since the worlds were restored, Sora is seen in screenshots fighting the Twilight Thorn in Traverse town, so how could it exist, after kh1? And i've seen many people talking about how nobodys didn't exist before kh:COM, but that just can't be true, cuz nobodys existed before Sora even got his keyblade, Xemnas came about before Sora was chosen. But to my opinion, they should really make a game that explains the events between BBS and Kh1. I feel like it could be potentialy be an awesome game, story-wise that is, and it could tie-in all the games together for an incredible finale in KH3.

I'm thinking it could one of two things:Either it happens between kh1 and kh:COM, before they find Castle Oblivion. It might explain how Riku actually got to Castle Oblivion and why he was seperated from Mickey it'd be nice to know what was going on in the Realm of Darkness while Riku and the King were there, it might even explain how sora got to Castle Oblivion too. But, if it were about Data Sora, now the game could basically be about anything, but if it were to be a Data Sora story, it'd be cool if they would send him in the past to see how Xehanort falls with the 5 apprentices in Radiant Garden, and to see how Lea and Isa join the Organization, as well as shedding some light on Demyx,Luxord,Marluxia,and Larxene's former selves.
