Dark Memories

Amelia sat on the couch feeling dumbstruck, reading through files. She had her head in her arms. Her phone rang, she threw it to the floor. "calm down.." she muttered to herself. Amelia dug her finger nails into the couch as ripped it as her claws grew in. This change, was more painful than before. She gulped, the silver bullet attacked her blood quicklier as she changed. She had told the others that she had taken it out. Her father was supposed to tell her how, but he was gone and she had no one. It was late probably around 11. School started in a couple hours, she of course didnt want to go. She grabbed whatever food she had and sat on the couch going through her dads files.

"No, i'm sorry but that wont happen. Your father is going to be gone for a long time sweety." She said pulling a gun out. Amelia laughed. "it seems like everyones pulling a gun on me now. " The lady smiled. "Silver in a lycanthropes blood can be deadly." "Yeah i know." she said lifting her shirt. "Aww, poor baby, no pack to save you. Go home, it was requested from your dad that i told you this, goodbye." She said getting into the car and driving off. She sighed and put her hood up. Amelia stood outside her house, cigar in hand. "Looks like its just you and me." She said laughing. Her head hurt, and she needed to fe the fact. She had no pack, she started tot hink she was better off without one but when odds came down to it, she did, every werewolf did. But, if she were to be the omega, she didn't want to be cowardly like the books in her house had said. She was going to toughen up.

"Im not a little kid. Dont worry about it." She said the wind blew outside. Before she headed to the park she stoped at the store and bought a pack of smokes. She walked to the park. "Hello" Her dad's boss said she saw Amelia walked up. "Dads boss?" "Yes, Could you throw that out, second hand smoke kills too." Amelia shrugged. "So what is this all about." "Are you in the pack?" "Nope. Its all them, they can keep on with their little pack or clique but im not joining." "Thats unsafe, so your an omega?" "Guess so." "I think i may be able to help you." The lady said with a smile. "I dont care, i just want my dad." She said eyeing the woman.

Amelia sat up quickly, it was dark outside. Her phone was ringing. "Hello?" "Is this Amelia Tichelli?" "Who's asking?" "Ah, it is. This is your fathers boss, he's gotten into a bit of trouble, sending those hunters tobgo kill you and all." "My dad didnt-" "Oh yes he did sweety. We both did. We have a plan, i need to meet you, soon." "So you can kill me?" "Of course not, you are stronger than me, after all you are an animal." "I'll meet you now, no need to keep me waiting." "Come to the park, then. See ya soon." Amelia hung up and grabbed a clean shirt and threw it on. She exited her room and saw Jason on the couch. She looked at him for a minute and gulped. She sighed and headed towards the door. "See ya later, Pack Leader." She said heading off to the park.

Amelia laid on her bed and sighed. She felt dizzy, the pain was getting to her, she rolled onto the side that was good and started to wonder if this was all just a nightmare. Well she hoped it was..

Amelia sighed. "Im fine, i'll be in my room." She said getting up and walking over to her room and closing and locking the door behind her. She looked at her phone, 1 missed call- Dad. She picked up her phone and called him back. "Amelia, hows everything going?" "How's everything going? Pretty swell other than i have a silver bullet in my tissue,everything's good." "Who shot you?!" "Some hunter kid." "Amelia, i'll call you back in a minute and tell you what to do to get the bullet out. i love you." The call was over she sighed and layed on her bed.

"I know." Amelia said sitting up. "I was planning to go into medical crap before all of this happened. I know what to do." She said sighing. "Now that the hunters are out its best if we stick togethor.

"we dont have one, Tichelli never cared about that stuff." she said ignoring the whole pack thing. Her wound burned. "Yeah, normal people heal, whichever kind of bullet it is, as long as its out of their bodies. But us? Yeah, any bullet, except the one thats in my body." Amelia knew it had to be a silver bullet. She had read it in the book her dad gave her. Even though its silver, it still tried to heal, but omly caused more pain. "i'll do something about it later, i dont feel like in dying." she said as she lay on the couch.

Amelia suddenly remembered her fight with Kai. "Actually that just leaves Jason. i'm not going to be apart of this." She said feeling sudden pain. "Is this how it feels, to slowly die? Or am i imagining it?" She thought to herself. "So i guess Jason's your new pack leader." She said to Kerri. "i dont like Kai, i somewhat dont really believe anything he says, like he's apart of something my dads doing." She said as she winced silently.

Amelia looked at Kerri. Her eyes widened. Maybe that was why Amelia wasn't healing properly, but she didn't say anything about it, and she hoped Kerri didn't either. She didn't want to have a descussion if she was going to die or not. She gulped. "Then we would have to be more careful, if their hunting werewolves they probably would." Amelia went to the back room and wrapped her wound up. "It should heal soon." she said with a grin. "Maybe, if we did stay in a pack, it would be better." she suggusted. "We could protect eachother, but the problem is we can't decide on a pack leader."

"We cant always rely on food when we get injured Kerri." She said sitting up. "i dont know, he said we'd meet up here. he'll be fine." She said with a worried look.

"i dont want it." she said sticking her hand out and turning the other way. "They were hunters, a boy warned me to run and outta nowhere they got me." she said sighing.

Amelia stuffed the phone in her pocket. She struggled to keep herself up but she shook it off and kept walking. She was close when the pain pierced her side again. She winced and continued to walk. She opened the door to the house and closed it behind her. She layed down on the couch and looked at the ceiling. Her wound was healing, her blood staining the couch.

Amelia held her side and stood up. "What the hell are hunters doing here and why?!" She yelled with her fangs coming out. her wound was healing, it didnt hurt as much as it did, but she could walk. She saw Jason had put in his number she called it. "Jason come back! we can deal with this at the house, they'll hunt you down too. Come back before you get hurt!!"

Amelia lay on the floor until suddenly she heard footsteps all around her. Who could be out in the forest? Or is it animals? She thought as she stood up stuffed her pockets with her phone and the other stuff she pilled out. She began to run in the direction of the house until she ran into someone. "Who are you?!" They said pointing a gun towards her. She gulped and stepped back. AMELIA! Answer him! Answer him! She thought to herself. But she was so chocked up, she couldnt speak. "calm down i wont hurt you, now look at me and tell me who you are." the man said stepping forward. Amelia didnt raise her head, but only her eyes, which where still bright yellow from the argument with Kai earlier. "You're one of them huh? You know who we are kid?" Kid?1 You look about my age... "Hunters, that's it." Amelia looked at the boy with wide eyes, she opened her mouth but nothing came out. "Go, leave before the other hunters find you i wont kill you." Amelia nodded and began to run out of the woods. But suddenly she felt a piercing pain and a loud bang. She looked to her side and seen she had been shot, she breathed heavily. Heal, please, heal!! She ran far and she stopped once she got to the park, she saw she was healing but it was going much slower than it was meant to. "Probably didnt eat enough.." She said to herself.

"So, how many of them have you turned Michael?" "About 4 of them." "Their names?" "Kerri Thompson, Kira, Jason Allen." "And the last one?" "Amelia TIchelli." "Oh, your daughter." "Yes." Tichelli sat as he answered his boss' questions, he lowered his head after he said Amelia's name. "Have you put camera's in the house to supervise them?" "Yes, and i have also left a already existent werewolf for supervision." "Well, lets see the footage." His boss said as he took out his laptop and displayed all views of the camera's. "Michael, where are the four, i only see the two plus the existent one." "They've probably gone home Chief." "We must supervise it, seeing them change is probably the only chance we have, where is your daughter?" She asked playing through the footage. She played back to where they were arguing and she left. "No, they need to all return to the house." "Well, lets call Kai then.." Tichelli sugusted as he leaned back in some office. ~~~~ Amelia sat in the forest, her father's backyard was basically the forest itself. She layed in the grass and pulled out her phone. No one had contacted her. Good she thought, no one to deal with or underestimate me. She thought as she placed her phone next to her.

"Hm, is that so? Well, have them, if they chose to be under you or Jason's command so be it. You can stay in MY house as well, guess i'll be a lone wolf for a while." She said eyeing him as her brown eyes turned yellow. She laughed and turned to her room. "So, see ya. i can do this by myself, we'll see who's stupid then." Amelia said heading towards the door. She opened the door and slammed it behind her. Lone wolf doesn't sound half bad.

"who asked for your input Kai? This doesn't concern you, it never will, ever since you've been coming to see my dad i never liked it. So while my dad has left me to watch the house, i dont need you here. You are already a werewolf, so what? you aren't a very smart, one if not, you'd be in a pack, go home Kai, you can come back when Tichelli's back." Amelia was being rude and she knew it, but she knew she could handle it. She knew it.

"Look, Jason, yeah, you're tall and a big guy, doesn't mean you can protect our pack! i think, it'd be better if i did, Tichelli would have wanted it, besides i was probably the first injected." She said as she got behind the desk again. She recognized she was being cocky, but who was he to talk? Just because he's 'big and buff' he thinks he has the mentality to run a darn pack. She thought as she laughed and sat back down.

"Yeah," She said to Jason putting the files back in her dad's desk. "Pack leader. That's what i'm going to be. We don't want lone wolves wandering around." She said as she stood up next to him. "I'll be watching over the group, i feel it's my responsibility. since my dad did this all." She said crossing her arms.

Amelia heard Jason run in as Kai and Kira left. Amelia didn't even bother to look up from files she was reading. "You could have torn down the door, yunno?" She said. She sighed and grinned. "Why are you in such a hurry anyways?" Amelia regarded to Jason as she leaned back in her chair calmly.

Amelia stepoed through her door. And plopped on the couch. "Werewolfs live in packs." she said to herself. "Problem is, we dont have a pack leader." she sat there thinking and stood up and sat in Tichellis seat infront of his desk.

Amelia saw the sky darken. She stood up from the bench and decided to walk back home. She really didn't want to be a werewolf. But since she was and it was her dads fault this was happening, she felt it was her reaponsibility to watch over them, all of them. "Im gonna do what my dad did wrong and make it right." she said as she started to walk in the direction of her house.

"im fine. you guys are more than welcome to stay here for as long as you like, im going outside." Amelia said as she stood up and left. Something didnt feel right to her. She felt somewhat empty, not because she was hungry but she didnt really know why. She went to the park and sat on the bench, of course no one was there, no one ever came out anymore. She layed down on the bench and looked at the sky for a while.

Amelia walked into the market and felt the pain in her hands come back. She shrugged it off anf continued on. She grabbed everything she needed and headed back to the house. Amelia really wasnt in the mood for school again, part of that fact before the virus hit she was un enrolled at school, now Tichelli wasnt there to enroll her again. She sighed and entered through the front of the house. Amelia placed the groceries on the table. "Brought whatever had the most protein in it, er well i think it did." She said as she smiled to them. She grabbed her book and placed it in a drawer in Tichellis desk.
