  1. Lightning looked up at Riku as she walked beside him, holding his hand securely. Even this felt different--but a good different. "Thanks," she told him gently. She appreciated him going out of his way. He was very sweet to her.
  2. Lightning tugged on Riku's hand, starting toward the bench where she left her jacket. Once she had it, she led him out of the gym. "I may wear tight clothes a lot, but I'm still a girl who appreciates a good pair of pajama pants," she assured him. She would take a pair if he wanted to get her some, but it wasn't necessary.
  3. "Mm," Lightning hummed with a nod. "You might want to grab those mouse pants of yours when we get back." Her smirk grew with humor. She remembered those pants; they had a mouse symbol on them for some reason that she didn't yet understand. Regardless, Riku would need a change of clothes, since he would be staying with her tonight.
  4. Lightning smirked faintly at that whisper and pecked Riku once more on the lips before she retreated. She rose from his lap, though she did offer her hands to him as soon as she was standing. She just had to grab her jacket and they could walk back together.
  5. Lightning pulled back slightly so her nose brushed his. "I think," she began, breathless, "we should take this back to my room." They had more privacy, and it would be more comfortable. Riku's lap wasn't uncomfortable by any means, but making out on a few mats in the university's gym didn't scream "cozy" to her.
  6. Light's heart skipped at the hand on her face, and she matched Riku's intensity. This... It made her breathless, but she couldn't get enough. She had deprived herself of this kind of feeling for so long by acting cold, she was sure, but....with Riku it all changed. From the first time she saw him at that party, she changed.
  7. Lightning closed the distance between them and kissed Riku again at the words. That was a good answer, because she wouldn't accept his refusal. His short silver hair brushed her arms, tickling her skin lightly, and his lips pressed against hers tasted heavenly. Lightning was no amateur when it came to physical gestures, though romance was unfamiliar territory. Would Riku change that?
  8. "You're going to stay with me tonight, right?" Light asked him quietly. She couldn't imagine leaving Riku's side after this. She wouldn't object to a bit more kissing back in her room, but...him holding her in his strong arms sounded great. Lightning wasn't much of a softy, but being with Riku changed her. She softened up quite a bit, and she knew it would only continue as long as she was with him.
  9. Light's smirk turned into a genuine smile. "Good," she murmured, then leaning her forehead against Riku's. Her world still spun from that kiss he gave her earlier. To think, a decent--actually, better than decent--guy wanted to be with her for the right reasons, and she wanted the same... I was right, she thought. You are special, Riku.
  10. Lightning’s smirk grew slightly. “Is that a promise?” she teased. Guys who were too much of gentlemen bored her. She needed a guy who could tell her how it was sometimes, and be able to take it right back. Of course, with her smirk and her lifted eyebrow, she was sure she came off as a tease, but she was okay with it. She wasn’t an angel of any sort.
  11. The words, however cheesy they were, still flattered Light. And that squeeze—it had her pulling herself closer to him. “I’m not exactly a ‘lady,’” she said with a faint smirk. She liked a skirt here and there, but between her and her sister, Serah was more of a lady than Lightning was. “But I’ll take the exclusivity.” She didn’t play games, and Riku didn’t seem to either. Good.
  12. Lightning smirked. “I thought Sora said something about you being a ladies’ man?” she asked with a tilt of her head. “I think he may have been wrong...” She fought her chuckles successfully, moving her hands to Riku’s shoulders and then down his arms to rest on his hands on her waist. As of now, they were exclusive. And she hoped that meant he would stay with her tonight, like she did with him when Chase gave her nightmares.
  13. Lightning was sure her cheeks were as pink as her hair at this point. She hummed softly at his kiss. "Thank you," she told him again. She believed him. Riku wouldn't lie about something like that; he wasn't trying to get a lay out of her and then leave. It wasn't the kind of person he was. He was better than that, by a long shot.
  14. Lightning rolled her eyes at Riku's smile, laughing softly. "Yes," she answered, linking her hands together behind him, her arms resting on his shoulders. "And...I was thanking you for...complimenting me. I haven't gotten it much, especially with such sincerity." There was so much goodness in Riku. Where did he come from? How did she get so lucky?
  15. "Thank you," Lightning whispered, truly touched. She opened her eyes to gaze at his handsome face, and to see the sincerity in his aquamarine orbs. She smiled faintly and brushed a few strands of his silver hair away from his face. "And yes...I want to be with you." She realized recently that she didn't feel whole when he was gone. Whenever Riku was with her, everything felt...right. He completed her.
  16. Lightning's cheeks flushed. "Riku..." she said softly. He was too sweet. So sincere... She leaned forward and kissed him again, this one gentler than their last. Someone called her beautiful...? Her? She hadn't heard it before--only "hot" or "sexy". But beautiful...that was a new one. But Riku also complimented her strength, which meant a lot to her, whether he knew it or not.
  17. Lightning released a soft breathy laugh. She brought her hands up, holding his smooth face gently. "Too?" she quoted teasingly. "How long have you wanted me, Riku?" While she was teasing, she was also curious. How long had he felt this way? Not that she objected in the slightest.
  18. Light's eyes fell closed at the second kiss, the girl gripping Riku's shirt as she returned his affection. It was passionate, raw, and amazing. She moved her lips with his with just as much fervor, taking in the feeling of his hands on her. It felt good. It felt really good. Best of all, it felt right. For so long she shut people out, but Riku showed her it was okay to let someone in. He was a great choice.
  19. Lightning inhaled a shaky breath at his touch. Riku's hands were calloused, but gentle. Her skin tingled where his hand rested on her face. His nose skimming hers made her forget how to breathe. His voice just now--husky, low, enticing--had her moving her hands up his chest, her fingertips gliding over his shirt and feeling his muscles. "Good," she whispered. It was definitely good. She practically straddled his lap at this point, but...she didn't care. Nothing else mattered except for Riku.
  20. Lightning's eyes widened when she felt Riku's lips on hers. Her heart skipped, her stomach flipped, and she didn't know what to do with her hands. After a second she pulled back slightly to look at Riku. "Yeah," she breathed softly, "you did..." But it was okay. In fact, she didn't mind it at all. Riku... He just kissed her.
  21. Lightning blinked, not expecting that answer. She thought Riku would defend himself, put down women, something...but not that. She hummed softly and backed off, sitting upright as she kept her position over him, her hands releasing his wrists. "Not the answer I expected," she admitted. But she would take it.
  22. That growl--however playful--sent chills down Lightning's spine. She kept her place on top of Riku, looking down at him as his low tone had her loosening her grip slightly. "This doesn't hurt your ego too much, does it?" she teased. She didn't want to damage his pride....too much. Most guys didn't like when a woman overcame them. Was Riku the same?
  23. Lightning's breath caught in her throat. She was nearly nose to nose with Riku now. "Hm," she hummed with the same small smile. She bit her lip then and moved quickly; she rotated her wrist so she instead grabbed his, the young woman then turning and throwing him over her shoulder with all the momentum she could. Really, his body weight did most of the work for her. Once he hit the ground, Lightning straddled him, pinning his wrists on either side of his head. "How about now?" she asked lowly, smirking down at him. Riku had to admit she had the upper hand now.
  24. Lightning had been nearly stunned by that grin of his, and now she found her arm pinned behind her back. "Hmph," she grunted, looking over her shoulder at Riku. "That all you got?" She could handle this. Then again, he was right behind her, close enough that she could feel his breath on the back of her neck. This would definitely test her.
  25. About an hour later, Lightning realized that the gym was empty save for her and Riku. Roxas and Namine had wrapped up their session not too long ago and bid their goodnights before leaving her and Riku to themselves. Now, she found herself goofing off a little with Riku. She didn't do this often, but here she was. They both had some hand-to-hand combat training, so they decided they had to prove it. She stood opposite Riku now, ready to pounce. "You sure you can handle me, Riku?" she challenged lowly, lifting an eyebrow. He was pretty confident in himself, but so was she.
