  1. Roxas too noticed how close they would be sitting; the chairs may have been large, but beanbags had a way of shoving all of its occupants together. Nevertheless, he carefully lowered himself down next to Namine and tried to give her some room as well, though once he was fully settled, they were in close contact. "Sorry," he laughed nervously, earning a "shush" from Sora.
  2. Roxas blinked again in surprise. Did he really hear that, or was he making things up? Naturally he wanted to hear that, but judging by Namine's face, it really was what she said. "Okay," he said, keeping his voice quiet both because of the subject and because of the movie. "Here, let me hold that for you." Getting into beanbag chairs was hard to do with things in your hands, so if either of them were going to spill something, he hoped it was himself.
  3. Roxas looked over at Namine, blinking when he thought he saw a blush on her cheeks. "Um. You can take it, if you want," he automatically offered, lifting a hand to rub the back of his head. He could just sit on the floor and prop himself up against a wall; he was more concerned that Namine was comfortable.
  4. Roxas turned around from the snack station, a bag of Twizzlers in his grasp. Now where to sit... he thought, eyeing the room. Riku and Lightning took one, Sora and Kairi another, then Serah sprawled out on the floor by her sister. Aqua had her own and so did Ven...There was only one chair left, and there were two people left standing: him and Namine.
  5. "Lightning, why'd you start the movie without us?" Serah scolded, walking over and picking up one of the cookies off the plate. "You know how much I love The Avengers!" Even if she was a girly-girl, she too loved the superhero movies. "Bean bags!" Ven cheered, plopping down into one and facing the screen. He was sure the movie was great, but he was actually more excited about the chair, since he always wanted one. "It's a party now," Sora smirked, stopping next to Riku and looking down at him. Riku really should have invited all of them if they were going to watch a movie; these days, everyone did everything together.
  6. Sora stopped in front of the door, shushing everyone (mainly Kairi and her giggles) from making any noise. "It's a movie party," he explained. "Riku and Lightning wanted us to come." He was making up the latter bit--and the former too. But it'd be fun to get revenge for being thrown out. Having unlocked the door earlier, Sora simply set a hand on the doorknob and opened it. "We're hereeeee!" he called cheerfully to the couple. Lightning automatically backed away from Riku again, seeing more than just Sora in the doorway this time. It looked like he brought everyone along with him. Great, there goes our date.
  7. Light hummed quietly, opening her hand and summoning the weapon away in a small flash. It was a bit too bright for this dim room. It was then she was reminded of the movie, which they disregarded some time ago and never got back to. Maybe it would have been better to let Sora stay in here and enjoy the movie; they could have gone elsewhere.
  8. Lightning took her hand away from Riku's stomach, extending it in front of them. It just does what I want it to, she reminded herself. If she wanted it here, it'd come here. A brief shimmer of light appeared along with a weight in her hand--the Keyblade that she inherited from Riku. It had sparks that were both purple and blue, but the purple was light instead of nearing black and the blue was bright.
  9. "Why?" Lightning inquired quietly. "There a battle coming that I should know about?" That was the only reason she could think of to bring out her Keyblade--that and training. She didn't see either of those happening in the near future.
  10. "Hmph," Lightning hummed, her small smirk still present at the title. "Smart man." Surely he remembered the start of their training, when he belittled her and believed she had nothing to offer him. He was definitely wrong, and she proved it to him. And to herself.
  11. "Yeah, I was pretty good, wasn't I?" Light smirked, lightly poking Riku in the side to show that she was joking. She supposed she was good at teaching Riku; he seemed to get a lot out of their time in the training room.
  12. "Well," Light said, daring to wrap one of her arms over Riku's stomach. "I had a good trainer." He started out as her teacher, though Aqua then took over to teach her more spells. It was so strange to think how recent that was--It was within the past month for sure. All the days of this crisis blurred together now that things were coming to a close.
  13. Lightning thought she heard Sora moan again in the hallway, but she ignored it. She walked back over to the beanbag chair and sat down where she was before, though this time, she cuddled up to Riku's side and disregarded the movie. As much as she loved the movie, it was better to just be with him again.
  14. While Sora sat up and groaned in the hallway, Lightning shut the door and locked it. The lock wouldn't do much good for a Keyblade wielder, but it was better than nothing. "He's a scrawny one," she said to Riku, jerking her head towards where Sora now sat. Picking him up had been surprisingly easy. Either he was extremely light or her training actually paid off.
  15. "You guys are at a really good part," Sora said, feeling Lightning finally scoot over. "Thanks," he said to her before getting back on track. "This is the escape scene! But Coleson..." Suddenly, he was aware Lightning didn't just move over; she stood up. And she grabbed his arm and his leg, causing him to give out a "whoa" in surprise. She literally yanked him off the chair and held onto him, starting towards the door. "Lightning! What are you--?" She suddenly pulled him backwards and then flung him forward, outside the room. He landed on the carpeted ground with a thud and a great deal of confusion. She literally threw me out.
  16. Sora stumbled forward a few steps, regaining his balance momentarily. "Hey man, not cool," he said, stepping back and returning to his spot. "Lightning, you mind moving over a little?" The rose-haired girl, however, remained where she was--probably because he was sitting on her too much.
  17. Sora smirked, witnessing the embarrassed couple. Lightning was especially shy. He, however, focused his attention to the big screen. "Oh, The Avengers," Sora cheered. He walked over to the couple from behind, setting a hand on the back of the beanbag before vaulted over it. He plopped down between Riku and Lightning, though he was partly on top of each of them.
  18. Just when the embarrassment began to fade, Lightning had another reason to suddenly feel that way. The door suddenly burst open and light poured into the room, revealing a position Light was never caught in before. She released Riku's shirt and completely pulled away, her startled eyes landing on the person who was grinning in the doorway. Sora.
  19. Lightning automatically shut her eyes at this third kiss. The only reason why she loosened her grip on Riku's shoulder was so that she could wrap that arm around him more. She gripped the back of his shirt with that hand, wanting to keep him close forever.
  20. Light looked at Riku and silently nodded, though she was careful not to force Riku to take his hand away from her hair. Yes, he could call her his girlfriend. She was proud to be associated with a person like Riku, who was so courageous, loyal, and brave. Without him, she would have died a long time ago, and that was no exaggeration.
  21. Lightning opened her eyes after the peck, and her eyes found Riku's. Shy as she was feeling, she couldn't tear her eyes away from his right then. There was a look of sincerity in them that she missed, along with an expression that said he was completely open with her and not keeping secrets. It felt good to finally see Riku unguarded with her again.
  22. Lightning was bright red and breathless--too much to reply to Riku's words. All she gave him was a slight hum as she held onto his shoulder tightly. That was...intense. It was a gentle kiss, but Lightning, who often dulled her own emotions so she could focus on being rational and logical, was overwhelmed by the emotions that came with that kiss and that they refused to be dimmed.
  23. Light slowly lifted a hand, setting it on Riku's shoulder as they kissed. They had shared kisses in the past, but it had been so long that she forgot what it was like. Those thoughts made her...sad. They missed out for so long just because of misunderstandings and trauma.
  24. Light looked down, briefly following Riku's motion with her eyes. But then...she leaned forward slowly, her eyes almost closed as she came closer to Riku's lips. He wanted a response from her, so this was what he was getting: her taking a step towards a kiss.
  25. Lightning dared to lift her eyes to Riku, though she only held his gaze for a millisecond. "You just were kissing me," she muttered in return. As soon as she said those words, she knew she said the wrong thing. But she was so unused to romantic situations that she didn't initially understand what Riku was saying.
