Serah sighed, "You're right, their numbers have been increasing since we got here. But don't you think it is because we are lingering outside of both the light and the darkness? If I'm correct, I think we are closer to the darkness now then we are to the light,." Serah closed her eyes feeling something pulling at her heart then opened them. "I sense a strong light near by," she stood up and walked toward the entrance of the cave. "We should go check it out," she said walking back toward the fire and putting it out. The rain picked up. She walked toward the back of the cave and found that it was not a cave at all but rather a long tunnel. She summoned her keyblade and allowed the tip to glow with light in order to let them see. "Come on," she said looking back at Aaron and continuing to go further into the tunnel. They followed it until it let out into a city of neon lights. "The World That Never Was," Serah whispered recognizing this place from a story she once her of a powerful organization of nobodies residing here. She looked toward the giant skyscraper and noticed a person fighting. "Let's help," she said running toward the skyscraper with her keyblade in hand. When she arrived at the skyscraper she noticed a boy. 'It can't be?!' she said noticing his familiar face just as the Twilight Thorn arose from out of no where. She nodded at the boy letting him know she was there to help.

"T-thanks," she said holding the jacket tighter to her trying to control her shivering. "We'll need to figure out which type of heartless we'll be facing I mean to me there are a million different categories we can place them in," she grabbed a nearby stick and started drawing in the dirt. "We have the flying ones, the ones that stay on the ground and the ones that dig into the ground. Then from there you have the long range fighting ones and the short range fighting ones. We will need to figure out everyone's strong points and pair them up against the heartless that they'd be more use against," she said looking at him as he was working out.

It stared to rain hard and the cold air picked up as well. "Good idea," Serah nodded running into the cave with him. she put her keyblade away and rubbed her hands along her arms. "It is really cold and of course we left everything back at camp. Do we have anything around us that we can use to start a fire?" she asked trying to hide her shivering.

The bushes ruffed causing Serah to stop in her tracks and grip her keyblade tightly and used her other hand to silence Aaron. "What was that?" she asked staring off into the darkness of the forest ahead of them. She started walking forward slowly keeping her guard up. "I think it is safe to say we're not alone in this forest anymore," she pointed out.

Serah summoned her keyblade and looked at Mika, "Good thinking," she looked at Aaron then back at Mika. She closed her eyes to get a better idea of where the sounds were coming from and pointed in the opposite direction. "Let's go that way. Whatever is coming it doesn't sound too friendly," she said gripping her keyblade tighter and walking to the direction she pointed out.

it's ridiculous it suppose to be 99 degrees tomorrow but with the humidity it is suppose to feel like 114 it's 11:30pm here and is 105 degrees outside I'm legit melting

Serah looked up at Aaron and smiled slowly starting to heal herself. "I'll be okay," she said jumping out of Aaron's arms. "Just a little scratch," she smiled trying to get him to stop worrying even though the wound the heartless gave her was pretty deep. "I'm just healing a bit slower, by tomorrow it'll be back to normal," she grinned. She then walked over to the girl, "Hi my name is Serah, are you okay?" she smiled at the girl letting her know they were good guys.

Serah nods and goes into her valor form and starts running toward the heartless close behind Aaron. "You'd think they'd give us a break at least once," she complained attacking one of the heartless that were coming towards Aaron from the side. "Oh well, I guess we didn't really have a choice in the matter, as long as these giant keys want us to wield them, we have to defend what's left of Kingdom Hearts," she smirked taking down another heartless. "Come one Aaron I already took down two and you haven't gotten any," she tease playfully running a head of him toward the girl.

Before Aaron could finish his question Serah was already half way across the rived. "Come on slow poke," she said grinning at her friend before getting herself out of the river and wringing her hair out. "I think we got his way," she pointed to a forest where she believed the noise to be coming from.

Serah jumped up complete oblivious to Aaron. "Something is out there," she said summoning her keyblade and gripping it tight. "We should go find it," she added already outside of the protective shield surrounding the camp. She starting following the noise, looking back to make sure Aaron was following her.

Serah looked at Aaron and grabbed his face making him look at her. "Aaron, we've been best friends since we were in diapers, I know when you are crying," she teased trying to lighten the mood. "I know this war has been hard, it has taken it's toll on all of us, but the good thing is we have each other now. As for the darkness," she paused and looked up at the sky, "it always goes away when the sun comes up. I remember my mother always use to tell me no matter how much darkness is around, the smallest bit of light could extinguish it," Serah smiled at him reassuringly. "Now get some rest we've been traveling for hours," she stated taking one last look at the sky before standing up and yawning. "I need my sleep anyway, see you in the morning," she finished, patting him on the shoulder before walking to her tent.

Serah nodded and put both her arms out in front of her and closed her eyes. A transparent blue tinted bubble began to form around the area Aaron had chosen to make the camp. When she was sure the entire camp was covered she put her hands back down to her sides and the blue tint of the bubble faded making it the shield invisible. She walked over to Aaron and sat down on the ground next to him. "Something doesn't feel right about this place, I placed a stronger then usual shield around the camp this time around. Make sure if for any reason someone needs to leave camp they take someone with them just in case," she said before looking out at the sky.

Like Aaron, she lost her everything at a young age, and through all the hardships they had to endure, she and Aaron have a very close bond. She specializes in healing and is an expert in magic. She leads the Remnants alongside Aaron, and hopes that the worlds can be saved. (sorry the pictures are so big)

Hope heard and knock on the door and put her book down. She opened the door and saw a boy cradling a girl in his arms. "Oh my gosh," she gasped looking at the girl in his arms pulling the door open wider. "Please come in lay her down," she said already thinking up ways to heal the young girl. It wasn't long before a green glow started to come around the unconscious girl. Hope closed her eyes and concentrated harder. A couple minutes passed and Hope turned to the boy and smiled weakly at him. "She'll be okay now. If you two need to rest I have one more bedroom open just down the hall it is where I normally keep travelers." she pointed toward a door. She gently picked up the girl and carried her into the room placing her on one of the two beds. "Now if you need me just call for me...my name is Hope by the way," she said before walking out of the room and sitting back on the couch and picking up her book, still tired from the healing she had to do. 'I haven't had to use that much energy in a long time,' she thought to herself. She began reading again but stopped before finishing the sentence on the page. Her head felt heavy and her vision stared going blury, before she knew it her head hit the pillow of the couch and she was out.

Hope looked at him, "yeah, the shower is up the stairs in the first door on the left," she smiled going back into the kitchen. "There is a spare bedroom across from the bathroom, you can stay in there." She finished cleaning and putting the dishes away then went into the living room and sat down on the couch picking up her book and reading again.

Hope stared at him for what felt like ten minutes but was only seconds and looked away blushing. "Thank you for staying. It does get lonely here. I can also teach you some pretty good healing techniques if you want me to." she offered with a smile.

"Alright, it is settled then. You'll stay here with me and help me with whoever stops by. Also, if it is not to much to ask, can you keep the area around this house safe? There have been weird noises at night. I found a couple heartless attacking the garden the other day. Fortunately for me they were the weaker ones so I didn't need much effort but I have a feeling things can get worse. I think darkness is nearby and I'm not really one to go in a battle by myself against the awful, disgusting darkness," she smiled at him.

She looked at him confused. "You can always stay here with me," she blushed looking away. "I mean it is completely uneventful here all I really do is cook and heal all day and I know you're more of the combat type anyway." She said doubtful he would stay. "But if you do leave just don't be a stranger come back and visit anytime. If you need potions or elixirs, I'll be glad to give you some," She smiled looking at him.

Hope looked at Mateus confused. "So you're leaving?" she asked looking down at the ground. "Where are you going this time?" she looked up at him.
