  1. I've thought about this before. I think, in essence, Roxas is Ventus. In other words, they share the same heart and the same body. However, Roxas developed his own personality, his own memories, his own friends, and thus became a different person, in a sense. Which makes the situation rather confusing. It is as if a man suffers from a severe situation of irreversible amnesia and has to sculpt an entirely new personality for himself. Well that's just the thing, it is my belief that Roxas is actually using Ventus' body. Perhaps this is what is implied in the BBS FM secret ending, when we see Ventus' body disappear from the Chamber of Waking. Perhaps it went to Roxas when he was... "born." I think it is important to understand that it was not Ventus' heart that was consumed by darkness when Sora became a heartless. It was Sora's alone, and the heart(s) that had taken refuge within him were released (as is the power of the Keyblade of People's Hearts). Kairi's as we know, was released and returned to her body. Ventus', too, we can assume, was released. So Ventus, his heart not having been consumed by darkness but purely been released (like Kairi's), does not have a nobody. It is plausible, however, that Ventus' heart, due to its residence within Sora's body, naturally migrated with Sora's body as it went off to become a nobody. HOWEVER. We know that Sora actually got his body back when Kairi miraculously saved him. This does not, moreover, negate his nobody having been born. We can speculate many things, perhaps from the beginning Sora's body changed its form to resemble Ventus as it became a nobody due to Ventus' heart, and furthermore remained with Ventus' heart as Sora' nobody after Sora regained his human form. This, however, would mean that Sora now has TWO bodies: the one which he uses, and the one which his nobody uses (that has taken a form resembling Ventus). This doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Rather, it is my belief that after Sora regained his human form (thus getting his body back), his nobody (now lacking a body)/Ventus' heart naturally migrated back to Ventus' own body (meaning that initially, Sora's nobody, using Sora's body, maintained Sora's actual appearance, until that body was returned to Sora). Thus, Roxas is born, harboring both Ventus' heart and body, but yet still being Sora's nobody. Or something along those lines.
  2. There's an absolute balance that is necessary. In order to achieve that balance, the requirement right now is for more scientists to step up. The 20th century was one of the most important periods regarding rapid expansion in the fields of physics, medicine, astronomy, technology, and countless other things. We are still in that rapid state of expansion and are using all the new knowledge and resources we received from the 20th century and applying it now to move even faster and more efficiently. Art, undoubtedly, is a necessity to our world. But we have so much of it. Our environment, our society, and our media is constantly surrounded by it. Kids who don't know what they want in life often take up studying some form of fine art or music-related study in college. Many people, too, are "lazy," in the sense that don't have the drive or stimulation to put in the dedication and heavy thinking required to be some sort of a scientist. We need more people who are willing to put in the demanding amount of thought and work that goes into being a scientist. We are in the midst of a major scientific age, and it won't keep moving without the help of many more scientists.
  3. holy crap.... this is beyond hilarious I think this one's my favorite: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZM4NcvS-Zo&feature=fvw
  4. This pretty much sums it up.
  5. Errr.... I believe he's referring to the evolution of Terra's Keyblade from Earthshaker to Ends of the Earth and Aqua's from Rainfell to Stormfall. I can't provide you with a definite answer to this. Frankly, I really have no idea. Perhaps it's due to their status' as Master-level Keyblade wielders.
  6. Wow... I'm actually quite shocked so many people are calling it their favorite in the series, and furthermore rating it higher than BBS. Anyway, I had a ton of fun with it, but in terms of gameplay, it was very weak. Re:coded was better in that regard, and BBS even more so. Frankly, I never considered putting 358/Re:coded in the same category as BBS. They just come off as far inferior. But we're not here to compare; on its own, the emotional intimacy of the story, alone, makes the game a great one. It is truly a beautiful story, and one that can only be fully appreciated by playing the game.
  7. ^Yea. Your drop idea is plausible, though.
  8. Good lord. Square is going to drive me bankrupt...
  9. It's clear that I haven't watched the secret episode from BBSFM, cause I don't have the FM of any of the games, so I saw no point in watching something that I know I won't be able to get. There was no need to be a smartass. Sorry to interject here... but I don't think Rob had any intention of being a smartass. He was purely trying to help you out. The majority of us here don't actually have the FM, we were on the same page as you a week ago.
  10. Well, that's rather intriguing! Don't know how I'll feel about it once I see it in action, but it sounds interesting. I think it would reinforce the supposed fast-paced action of the game, which is something I'm highly looking forward to.
  11. Correct, but it then rewinds from her meeting with Ansem back to her first segment of time in the RoD. The 0 most likely refers to this, and the 0.5 to the time in between. Still, I see your point. The 1 came after showing Sora and Kairi, so logically the 0 should come after it rewinds back to the beginning of Aqua's time in the RoD. It appears like a negligible inconsistency. But I'm fairly confident the 0 doesn't refer to her meeting with Ansem, but to the beginning of her time in the RoD, and the "Zero point"/0.5 to the time in between these two things.
  12. Not likely, back in KH1 Mickey wasn't aware of where Aqua was at that time. Also, if you've noticed he's wearing his CoM outfit. So this pretty much tells you that the scene where Mickey is walking in the ROD takes place after the events of KH1. So by that time, Mickey had the KKD with him but was trying to find a way out of the ROD. Plus, Mickey didn't find out about Aqua's location until he learned about it in Coded/Re:Coded and told Yen Sid about it in the secret ending of Re:Coded. @joby, If you've noticed Mickey already found the KKD right before he was sealed in the ROD. So there's no way he could be looking for it. He was just trying to figure out how to get out of the ROD. Also the KKD isn't made of the entire dark realm, it was more like it was made from darkness itself. Plus, the KKD can't really show how to get out of the ROD. It's not that easy to escape that place. I believe you're partially mistaken, or just ahead of yourself. Unfortunately we don't know precisely what Mickey was doing, nor where he was, for the duration of KH1 until the very end. We don't know at what point in time he actually received the KKD, but it is evident that he had to have been in the RoD when he did. Thereby allowing us to speculate that while he was in the RoD (whenever he was in there to retrieve the KKD), he may have come across Aqua. This is backed by the fact that he apparently knew Aqua's location prior to his meeting with Yen Sid regarding the discovery of Ventus' location. You say Mickey learned of Aqua's location in Coded/Re:coded. This never happened. I cannot recall a single instance in that game during which Aqua's location was even vaguely hinted at. He therefore must have discovered her location on his own, or otherwise in some other way that we do not know of. The question then becomes, if Mickey had, in fact, found Aqua in the RoD during his time there, why he was unable to bring her back.
  13. Mickey got into the Realm Of darkness when he used his keyblade to lock the Door To Darkness and got sealed on the other side of it as well. Correct, but didn't he have to enter the RoD in order to retrieve the KKD in the first place? Or was he chosen as the wielder of that Keyblade outside of the RoD? EDIT: Reversal's above answer makes the most sense. Also, just throwing this out there: It is a fact that Mickey came across Aqua during one (or both) of his times in the RoD, considering how, during his conversation with Yen Sid post-Re:coded, he mentions that Aqua and Ventus have both been located. The question becomes why he was unable to bring her back.
  14. I mean, this is a prospect that just came to my head... it's just shocking to me that Sora never once questioned why he was asleep for a year. Was there ever a point during which it was explained to Sora what happened in Castle Oblivion and why he was asleep for a year? Otherwise, in acquiring the Secret Ansem Reports (written by Ansem the Wise) in KHII, wouldn't it have become apparent to Sora generally what had happened? Seeing as Ansem mentions Sora's quest through Castle Oblivion and year long sleep to recover his memories in a few of the reports...
