  1. Rixec 30 minutes ago I grasped the dirt as I stood up in sheer agony. I was bloody, pain soared through my body like fire through a forest, and I wanted payback. I slowly walked back into town as I clutched my side, my teeth gritted together as I breathed in and out slowly. I was keeping an eye out for the others, waiting for another surprise attack from them. They wouldn’t get me this time though, I was prepared! “Rixec!” I turned to see Vanitas running right at me. I didn’t expect them to do that – they caught me unprepared dammit! No, I wouldn’t let them end me, I will not die here! “Jesus Rix, what is that thing?!” Vanitas asked as he pointed at my chest. I had no idea what he was talking about - -probably just trying to distract me so he can stab me. Well it wouldn’t work! “I won’t let you kill me,” I said as I called out Oblivion. “Kill you?” Vanitas repeated as I flung a fireball at him. Vanitas called out Void Gear and blocked the attack but I was already on the move. I charged at him and slashed at his chest. Vanitas saw me coming and jumped back, but I still managed to get in an indirect attack. I watched as Vanitas stumbled back and clutch his bleeding torso. “What the &^%$ Rixec?” He swore as he took a closer look at my chest. “Oh don’t tell me that’s Xoncron’s contingency plan for you? What did Sephirix do to you man?” “Won’t let you…,” I muttered. “I won’t let any of you kill me!” I leapt into the air and thrust my Keyblade down as I fell. Vanitas raised his Keyblade up and a sonic vibration broke all the glass in a twelve meter radius as the Keyblades struck each other. Vanitas fell to one knee as I pushed downward. “Snap out of it Rixec and let me help you so we can go kill Sephirix!” he roared at me. “You, Lexa, Xoncron, William, Roxas… I won’t let you kill me!” I shrieked as I pushed Vanitas to the ground and swung my Keyblade down. Vanitas rolled out of the way and rose to his feet. “This is much worse than Sephirix’s Dalek,” he muttered. “Got no choice then…” I charged at him, gripping my Keyblade so tightly my hand started to bleed. Vanitas struck the ground with his Keyb lade and I watched as darkness rose up from where it was. The shadows came at me and wrapped themselves around me tightly. I gasped out as they started to envelop me. No! In my current state I didn’t have the strength to call upon the light to fight back. Vanitas was going to kill me! Vanitas was going to… When I regained my sense ten minutes later I yelped at the sight of my blue skin and went into a panic. Vanitas and Xoncron managed to calm me down and explain what I just went through. Around the time they finished my skin went back to normal and the first thing I did was punch Xoncron. He deserved it. Contingency plans, what the hell! But I was shocked when he showed us his contingency plan. “Xon, I’m not sure you’re aware of this,” I said, “but the point is to make a contingency plan for everyone but yourself!” “Couldn’t risk it after Norcnox,” he replied. “I needed a way for you guys to stop him should he ever return.” “My god,” I said. “Did you have to do something so stupid?” A bomb in your damn chest?!” “If Norcnox returns he must be stopped immediately,” Xoncron told me. “We’re getting that thing out of you first chance we get,” I said. “First, we have to go after Sephirix!” Vanitas said. “He still has Lexa!” “Vanitas, Sephirix is probably gone by now. We have no lead to chase him,” I sighed. “I’m not giving up!” he roared. “That’s not what I’m saying! We just need to cool down and look for clues!” I shot back. Vanitas turned to Xoncron and yelled, “This is your fault! If not for your stupid contingency plans Sephirix wouldn’t have been able to get the drop on Rixec and we might’ve still been able to chase him down here!” “I didn’t think this would happen!” Xoncron yelled back. “That’s right, you didn’t think!” Vanitas hissed. “Shut up!” I said. “It doesn’t matter now. What does matter is that we rest and get ready to look for them upon recovery. That’s all we can do now.” “You rest,” Vanitas spat. “I’m going after Sephirix and Lexa.” Before we could do anything Vanitas ran off, leaving us all alone. I sighed bitterly; with Lexa and Sephirix gone things went from bad to worse. I went to my room and locked the door. I needed to be undisturbed for a while. I fell down on my bed and pondered about what was going through Sephirix’s head. Sephirix “Thanks,” I said as I picked up Lexa. “Just be careful,” Nita answered. “I know; I’m heading off to the Underworld for the time being. Seems like a good hiding spot,” I explained. “SOLDIER is here whenever you need us,” Nita told me. “Thanks,” I said as I placed Lexa on my bike and hopped on. I set the coordinates and drove off into a portal to the Underworld. Now I just had to wait for Lexa to wake up.
  2. Sephirix I pity the woman that marries that fool, I thought as I watched Xoncron, Vanitas, and William get chased around by a miniature Dalek. Though it was a bit cute. I had heard enough to know that Xoncron had made contingency plans for us all; as if he knew enough about me – or even bothered to learn enough – to come up with a plan. I checked the time and thought I still had enough time to kill before meeting with Rixec. So while everyone ran around getting chased by a Dalek I sneaked inside and started snooping around Xoncron’s stuff. What else had he come up with? There were some papers with crude drawings and messed up formulas lying about and there were various gadgets and potions stacked up with labels on them. Xoncron sure didn’t make this easy to work with, but then again, he had said something about them not being ready yet. My eyes managed to make out Lexa’s name on one tube and I took the opportunity to crush it to pieces, the fluid dripping to the floor from my hand. As I shuffled Xoncron’s papers and gadgets I found a couple of things that caught y interest. Luckily, there was a notebook next to these items and I spent a bit trying to make it out. After reading and re-reading it I managed to get a basic idea on what these were for. I stuffed them into a bag and walked out, the sounds of “Exterminate!” still going on. I hopped on my bike and drove away. Hearing Vanitas swear very loudly after another laser went off. I take it back: perhaps Xoncron wasn’t as much of a fool as I thought. Rixec I waited in the abyss where Sora once fought a thousand Heartless. If Sephirix and I were to chat this would be the best place to do so. There wasn’t enough around for serious collateral damage. I heard a bike coming up and I turned my head to see Sephirix arriving barely on time. “Thought you wouldn’t show up,” I said. “I got held up,” he answered with a grin as he hopped off. “Let’s cut to the chase,” I said. “Where’s Lexa?” “Safe,” Sephirix said as he walked up to me. “Not good enough,” I said crossly. “Look Rixec, a guy like Vanitas is no good for her,” he told me. “All the times she or us have been hurt because of their relationship – I’m better for her.” “That doesn’t mean you can kidnap her,” I said. “There’s still time to let her go. We can work all this out.” “I’m afraid there’s no going back Rixec,” Sephirix said as he pulled out a small vial. “What’s that?” I asked, alert. “Xoncron’s contingency plan for you,” he answered. “He has them for all of us. You should see the one he has for me. It’s chasing them all right now.” “Cut the crap Sephirix,” I said. “I’m not amused.” “Fine, fine,” Sephirix grinned as he tossed the vial into the air and it fell to the ground with a shatter. “To be honest, I’m disappointed Sephirix,” I said as I started to walk forward. “Rixec,” I heard. I turned to see Lexa right behind me. Relief flooded my veins as I ran to her. “Lexa! Glad to see you’re all…” Lexa launched a fireball at me and I gasped as I was flown back as it hit me in the chest. I coughed horribly as I stood up. “Lexa… what the hell…?” “She had to do that,” I heard William say as I turned around. She and Roxas were right behind me. “Scum like you shouldn’t be here.” Roxas fire two beams of light at me and I just barely dodged them, but then I felt a cold air come across my feet and I looked down to see two blocks of ice where they should have been. “It’s over Rixec,” Xoncron said as he walked toward me. “Time to do what I should have done when you showed up.” “Xon! What are you doing?!” I yelled as they all closed in on me. I watched as Vanitas appeared and walked toward me. He pressed his Keyblade to my neck and said, “Everything that’s been happening is because of you, Bringer of Light. All this darkness is coming at you like a magnet. So we need to exterminate you to stop all this.” “No! I didn’t mean for!” I started to say. “Save it Rixec,” Lexa smirked. “Just die with dignity, though you have none,” William said. I felt a slash across my back and I fell to my knees; I looked back to see Xoncron, his Keyblade dripping with blood. “Goodbye,” he said as he raised it up and brought it down. Sephirix “^&*%,” I said as I watched Rixec cower on the ground before me. He had fear and anger in his eyes, and had a circular device attached to his chest that sent our four tentacles that wrapped around his torso. The liquid quickly entered his nostrils once the tube was shattered, making him see illusions of God knows what. The device on him let him feel what was happening psychologically, so he would think it was real. He might realize it eventually but for now it gave me all the time in the world. I hopped on my bike and drove back to pick up Lexa. It was time to go.
  3. Rixec Vanitas is a little b@stard, I thought to myself as I slowly rose to my feet after Vanitas decked me the moment I walked in the door. “You got ten seconds to explain yourself Vanitas,” I moaned. “Vanitas! Don’t pin this on Rixec!” Xoncron yelled as he stood in between us. “Vanitas,” William said, “just remember this is on Sephirix…” “What the bloody hell is going on?!” I asked. “Did Sephirix steal the last ice cream bar or something?” “You dare joke at a time like this?!!” Vanitas roared as Xoncron attempted to stop him from tackling me. “He doesn’t know what’s going on!” Xoncron said. “Just calm down!” After a few moments Vanitas started to calm down but I could still see the anger and hatred in his eyes. “Where’s Lexa?” I asked. “She needs to keep Vanitas in control. Are we sure being dead didn’t addle his brains?” “I think I’m beginning to see where Sephirix gets it from,” Vanitas growled. “Rixec,” Xoncron said, “Sephirix kidnapped Lexa.” I raised an eyebrow suspiciously at them, doubtful. Like Lexa could be taken so easily. “Why do you think that?” I asked. “Because we can’t find her and Sephirx is nowhere to be around!” Vanitas yelled. “That’s not good enough to accuse him just yet,” I said. “Then do you know where we can find him?” William asked. “Where he might take Lexa?” I sighed; this was a really bad night for me. “Tell you what; I’ll look into it.” “We need to find her before he hurts her!” Vanitas exclaimed. “He won’t hurt her,” I said. Not seriously, anyway. Unless Lexa did something stupid Sephirix wouldn’t even pluck a hair off her head. Although, I suppose a kidnapping wouldn’t require much force if done right. “I’ll be back in an hour,” I said as I walked out. As I made my way through the dark I felt dents in the ground and examined them to see motorcycle tracks. They were only a few hours old. Sephirix must’ve been here. Had be been listening to me and Xoncron? If that was the case then… I paled up at the thought that the guys were right. That Sephirix did kidnap Lexa. Crap. Maybe I can still fix this if I play this right. If I’m wrong, we’ll have a civil war on our hands as we approach closer to the end of the treaty. I summoned a ball of light and whispered into it. I then pulled my arm back and threw it into the air and watched it fly away. The light should manage to find Sephirix and give him my message. For now, I should go wait at the meeting place. Sephirix I placed Lexa on the bed as she snored softly. “Sorry about this Lexa,” I said as I covered her with a blanket. “You should only be out about a day and drowsy for five or six days.” I did it. I got Lexa away from that creep Vanitas. I now had all the time in the world once she woke to convince her that he wasn’t for her. I would show her how much she meant to be even if it ended entire worlds. “Sephirix,” I heard Rixec say. I turned to see his message light floating behind me. “Sephirix, meet me at this address tonight. DO NOT BE LATE,” the message said as the ball widened to show me a map. I memorized it quickly and waved the light away. I looked at Lexa and sighed. I was going to have to leave her unprotected for the time being while I met with Rixec. I already had a feeling I knew what it was about. “Looks like it worked,” Nita said as she came in the room. “How did you find me?” I asked. “A girl has her resources,” she laughed. “What do you want,” I asked as I crossed my arms. “Believe it or not I’m here to help you,” she said. “Only me though. Avon figured only I would be enough for tonight.” “Why? What’s your sake in it if I have Lexa?” I inquired. “Let’s just say the next few weeks will be very important for billions of billions of lives,” she said. “Every action you or your friends take now will have serious consequences that affect us all. They need to happen here.” “You are one strange girl,” I said. “You’ve seen my Mom,” Nita laughed. “Strange, but an amazing woman.” I raised an eyebrow at what she said. Had I met her mother before? I suppose it didn’t matter now. I had to go see Rixec. As I walked by Nita I asked, “Why are you interested in me and Rixec?” Nita grew serious for a moment and breathed in deeply. She let it out with a praiseful answer. “I owe you two everything.” “I don’t get it,” I said as I walked out. “You will,” I heard her say as I took off. “You will.”
  4. Rixec Sephirix and I were sitting at a bar in a worse part of Radiant Garden. When we arrived we ordered our drinks and sat there, sipping at them without a word. I tended to like silence but today it was just irritating. “Went overboard don’t ya think?” I asked. “I don’t think I went far enough,” Sephirix responded as he tapped the edge of his glass. “Lord, protect us,” I sighed. “Look Sephirix, this isn’t gonna help you. That fight with Vanitas didn’t help.” “He did the first attack,” Sephirix shrugged. “That doesn’t matter,” I said. “First off, no one will believe that because it’s you, even when it’s true. Second, even if they did, they would still side with Vanitas.” “Oh come on!” Sephirix exclaimed. “It’s true,” I said. “Doesn’t matter that Vanitas was once our enemy; you seem more crazy compared with him and are more likely to go over the deep end. Heck, I think they trust Xero far more than you.” “&*^% off,” he scoffed as he took another sip. “Hey, I’m not agreeing with them,” I said. “Despite all your antics I trust you. But that’s because of our connection. I know you. They don’t. To them, it doesn’t matter what you do. You could save their damn lives over and over and it wouldn’t change a thing.” “Then what are you suggesting?” Sephirix asked. “Might be best for there to be a little space between us for a while,” I said. “Not a lot. You should stay nearby us but not with the group until everything cools off.” “So you’re kicking me out,” he sighed. “Not that at all,” I defended. “You’ll be close but won’t interact for maybe a few weeks.” “Forget it,” he said as he stood up. “I know when I’m not wanted. “Wait,” I said as I grabbed his wrist. “Who were those people back there?” “No one important,” he growled. “Sephirix,” I glared. “Fine. They were Avon, Nita, and Anders. They’re the founders of the new version of SOLDIER.” I blinked at the name. Xon probably knew more than I in this area but I had heard of the organization. I thought it was done for. “What did they want?” I asked. “I don’t know,” Sephirix said. “But I’ve met Avon a few times before now and the other two once before. In fact, Avon was the one responsible for that prank at Xero’s club.” “Huh. Is that so?” I said as I cocked an eyebrow. “I like her more already.” Even Sephirix grinned at my comment. “Anyway, they don’t seem to be a threat but they have their own goals. You should probably tell the others not to mess with them.” “Fine,” I said. “We should make sure to stay in touch without the others knowing though. They won’t take too kindly to that.” “Yeah yeah,” Sephirix said as he shook himself free from me and walked out. I finished my drink and then returned back to the house myself. Man, this was not a good night. If this is how things were during the treaty God help us when it ends. As I walked in Xoncron came up to me. “Hey. Where’s Sephirix?” “I thought it was probably best for him to take some time off until everyone cools down,” I said. “Better if he never returned,” he mumbled. “Okay, that’s enough,” I said. “Just what is your problem with the guy anyway?” “Look, I don’t trust him, all right? After that whole Norcnox thing I’m starting to think Sephirix is your version of that.” “He is not my dark side,” I sighed. “He’s his own being, created from me and Sephiroth.” “Maybe that’s the problem,” Xoncron suggested. “He’s helped us many times; he helped stopped Norcnox,” I said. “Barely did anything other than fight copies and get his butt kicked,” Xoncron shrugged. “Oh, right,” I spat. “Because compared with you, Lexa, and Vanitas he and I are just chumps not worth a thing.” “Rixec! That’s not at all what I’m saying!” Xoncron defended himself. “Sephirix and I have been doing the same things during that Norcnox situation,” I said. “In short, what you said about him is true of me.” “Rixec, listen a moment,” Xoncron said. “I need some air,” I said as I turned to the door. “vanitas says he’s sorry, by the way,” Xoncron said. “Yeah, got it,” I mumbled. “Also, he took off with Lexa,” Xoncron said. Sephirix “Also, he took off with Lexa,” Xoncron said. Lucky I decided to listen in a little closer than Rixec intended. That arse of a dark hippie was out there doing God knows what with Lexa! “Now? Of all times?!” I heard Rixec yell. “Can they get their heads out of horny land for two seconds to think what is going on here?” I took off, not bothering to hear Rixec’s rants. I had to find Lexa and get her away from Vanitas. He was the real poison of this group even though they thought it was me. I’ll convince her who the real b@stard is. I snuck into Xoncron room and looked through his stuff until I found what I needed. A set of instructions and a bag of ingredients to go with them. Bet Xoncron thought his little prank would never be used like this. I took off and ran to where I parked my motorcycle. I hopped on and drove off toward the house where Avon led me before. I went down into the basement and knocked on the wall, hoping they could hear it somehow. The doorway opened before me and I walked in and found myself face to face with Avon. “I knew you would come,” she grinned. “I need to make this potion,” I said as I handed her the instructions. “Ah yes, Xoncron’s potion,” she said as she looked it over. “I take it you want it weaker?” “yes,” I answered. “It looks like he left hidden instructions on how to do it,” she said as she took the bag from me. “We’ll get to work right away.” “Welcome back,” Nita said as she walked up to me. “Thanks for tonight,” I said. “Hey, it’s my brother you should be thanking for running off to save you,” she said. “I did it because we need him,” Anders scoffed from the other side of the room. “Oh please, we both know you secretly like him,” Nita laughed. “&^%$ off sis,” he glared. “Thanks,” I said. Anders looked over at me and sighed. “Like I said, we need you. I’d prefer you not to be with SOLDIER but we do need you.” “I haven’t taken up any offers,” I said. “Just came for a favor.” “Good,” he said. “No offence, but I think you’re better off with Rixec then with Avon.” “What’s that mean?” I asked. “You’ll find out,” Anders said. “Anders,” Nita warned. “Got it, got is,” he shrugged. “Good to see your eyes back to normal,” I said. Anders didn’t bother to answer me as he walked off. After about an hour SOLDIER was done with the potion and I pocketed it. “Be careful with it,” Avon said. “I know,” I sighed. It was like even they didn’t trust me to do a simple thing. “I’m just letting you know,” Avon said. “You have to do this right or a lot of us are screwed.” “Right,” I said, confused. “Well, later.” I took off from their base and hopped onto my bike and took off. Time to go get Lexa.
  5. Sephirix I couldn’t help but smile at Vanitas’s face. I had never seen him this p!ssed so I knew I must’ve done something right. But now I had to deal with a dark emo guy who happens to be the boyfriend of the girl I love. I’d have to kick his butt to the next world to get to Lexa. “You should leave,” Vanitas said, trying to stay calm. “Yeeeah – no,” I laughed. “If anyone needs to leave it’s you. You’ve been the one who messed us up the most.” “I think everyone else would say differently,” Vanitas glared. “Now I’ll give you one last chance to leave and never show yourself to Lexa again.” “Why so merciful?” I laughed, trying to make him mad, make him sloppy. “Has being dead made you weak in addition to hurting Lexa?” “Shut it!” he yelled. “Oooh, nice comeback,” I grinned. “But I guess I can’t blame your death. Lexa was hurt by you even when you were alive.” “I. Am. Alive,” Vanitas gritted. “Not for long,” I said as I summoned a few Heartless. “The dead should stay dead. That would totally solve so many problems with the Xehanorts.” “Maybe you can figure out how to die,” Vanitas said as he summoned his Unversed. We face each other, waiting for the first strike. We both knew how vital it was, what it would mean for our reputations and Lexa. I needed to make him strike first. “Vanitas,” I called out, “how does it feel to be the cause for every %^&*ing thing that’s gone wrong for Lexa since she came here?” That did it. Vanitas pointed Void Gear at me and his Unversed charged. My Heartless clashed with his Unversed and as the screams and smoke filled the air around us Vanitas and I started to circle the battlefield, like two lions over a scrap of meat. I summoned my Keyblade and unleashed a blast of ice his way. Vanitas summoned a vortex of fire around himself and the ice melted before it could even hit him. I jumped forward and pulled out one of my guns; I fired twice at him and the moment they hit the flames they exploded, blowing Vanitas through the air and into a tree. “Damn you Sephirx!” he roared as he teleported and ended up in front of me. I brought up my Keyblade and our weapons clashed, a metallic echo filling the area. “I’ll end your miserable existence.” “Sorry, I like living too much,” I said as I fired my gun and hit Vanitas in the chest. He gasped in agony as he fell back and I swiped at him with One-Winged Angel. I struck him hard across the head and he fell to the ground. “Now to finish this.” “Vanitas!” I turned to see Lexa and Xoncron running our way. Of all times to show up during a fight. “What the hell are you doing Sephirix?!” Xoncron roared. Before I could even answer I felt a chill in the air and as I turned back toward Vanitas I was frozen in a block of ice. I watched through the ice as Vanitas stood up, grinning. “Now to banish you to the shadows.” A dark portal opened up beside us and Vanitas reading his Keyblade to knock me into it. Lord knows where it would lead! “NO!” I cried as I summoned dark firaga and blew my way out of the ice and knocking Vanitas back. I ran at him and we clashed blades once more. Vanitas pushed me back and swiped at my feet. I jumped up and struck down but he moved aside and swung at me, hitting me in the back. He then pushed upward and I was thrown into the air. Vanitas jumped up and struck me in the chest and I was propelled to the ground. As I landed a huge crater was formed, dust blowing everywhere. Vanitas was falling straight at me but I wasn’t gonna let him land in another hit. “Lightning!” I yelled and a bolt of lightning struck Vanitas as he fell. He roared in agony as his body twisted up. I jumped up and struck him in the side; Vanitas fell to the ground with a thud and struggled to stand up. I landed in front of him and pressed my Keyblade to his neck. “Not sorry, by the way,” I said. Vanitas grinned at me and then I felt a blade of ice pressed against the back of my neck. We were in a &^%$ing standoff! “Leave Lexa and us alone forever,” Vanitas warned me. “Not happening,” I said. I knew it was gonna happen before I could do anything. Vanitas was faster in this area and would kill me before I could him. At least I wouldn’t go out like a chump. As I started to thrust my Keyblade I felt the ice going into my neck. “Fire!” a familiar voice shouted. I felt a heat wave behind me and it made me flinch. Vanitas took the opportunity and kicked me in the stomach, knocking me back. I looked up to see Anders from SOLDIER here. Now that I didn’t expect. “Who are you?” Vanitas scoffed. “His ally,” Anders answered. “Though I wish differently.” “This doesn’t concern you knight boy,” Vanitas said. “Right now, I’m older than you,” Anders said. I noticed that his eyes were now a familiar yellow. I would have to remember that. “What? You can’t be any older than fifteen,” Vanitas said. “Please Vanny,” I laughed. “Even I can clearly see he’s eighteen.” “It doesn’t matter, if he gets in my way he’ll be treated the same as you!” Vanitas declared. Before anyone even saw him move Anders was in front of Vanitas and punched him in the jaw. I watched as Vanitas flew through the air and hit a rock face first. As I heard him groan I heard Lexa shout, “Leave him alone!” A ball of fire shot at Anders but Nita jumped out in front of him and stood still as the fireball hit her. She chuckled and said, “Sorry. But that won’t work on me.” “Who are these guys?” Xoncron asked. “Does it matter?” Lexa said as she pointed her Keyblade. “They’re attacking Vanitas.” “Tell the old man to back off Sephirix and we’ll be cool,” Anders said. “I’d rather not beat him to a pulp.” “What did you say punk?” Vanitas glared as he stood up. “Don’t,” Anders said as darkness flowed around him. “Bring it,” Vanitas grinned as his own darkness flowed. “This is gonna be messy,” I said as I channeled my own darkness.” “Tell me about it,” Nita sighed. So she didn’t have any darkness. That’s good. The three of us alone might create a supernova. A few moments passed and we unleashed our darkness! “STOP!” Rixec cried as light filled the area. Rixec I struck my Keyblades into the ground and light erupted from them, absorbing the darkness. I cried out as I took it in and turned it to light. As the light died away I pointed my Keyblades at the sky and fired two beams of light off this world. Man those three had a lot of darkness! “What is your problem?” I yelled. “All of you!” “Don’t defend him Rixec,” Vanitas said. “Rixec, don’t hurt Vanitas,” Lexa begged. “So that’s Rixec,” the new girl said in awe. “I imagined him taller,” the new boy commented. “Shut it,” I said. “Rixec, just leave this between me and Vanitas,” Sephirix said. “Like hell!” I yelled. “Look at you all. Friends attacking each other for stupid reasons! Lexa! Xon! Why didn’t you try harder to stop Vanitas! You should have known what would happen if they met!” “I didn’t know until later,” Xoncron said. “I just,” Lexa started to say. “Did we really defeat Norcnox and save all universes?” I ASKED. “Because this team looks like it couldn’t even defeat a Heartless boss for Pete’s sake!” Everyone grew silent as I breathed in and out slowly. What the hell was wrong with these people? Sure, I figured Sephirix might try something but I didn’t expect Vanitas to do the same. I was just as responsible but they had more control over Vanitas than I had over Sephirix. This was stupid! “Who are you two?” I asked. “No one,” a new voice commented. I watched as a new girl with blue hair and wearing a silver domino mask came forward. I don’t know why but there was something familiar about her. “Nita, Anders, we’re leaving,” she said. Nita and Anders were teleported away and the new girl sighed. “Sorry about that. But you know how Sephirix and Vanitas can be.” “Who are you?” I asked. “Avon,” she giggled. “Until next time.” I watched as Avon disappeared, leaving me confused. I looked at everybody and sighed. “Um, hello?” I turned to see William walking forward. So that’s where she went. I had too much on my plate. “Lexa, take care of William,” I said. “Xoncron, take Vanitas. Sephirix, you’re coming with me.” I grabbed Sephirix and pulled him away from everybody. We needed to talk alone and over a damn drink dammit!
  6. Are you apple or cherry filled?
  7. Rixec I stood against a wall in a dark alley as I pondered what we should do next. After Sephirix’s burning of the copies of Lexa’s things from Vanitas and the return of Vanitas himself meant things were about to change dearly. I wasn’t even entirely sure how Vanitas came back – or how healthy it was that he did. It was good that he was back and all but people just returning like that was too good to be true. Either God had smiled upon Vanitas – though I wonder why he might – or there were dark forces at work. Not Xero, she seemed just as surprised to see him back. “You think something’s wrong too,” a familiar voice said. I turned to see Vanitas walking down the alley, crossed. Couldn’t blame him; he had been following us since he “left” and saw Vanitas’s miraculous return. No one else felt it but I could feel his anger and darkness – it helped that there was a connection between us though. “Do I think Vanitas’s return is convenient?” I said. “Yes; but until I have definitive proof it’s part of some evil plan I’ll hold my tongue and see what happens.” “You always hold back,” Sephirix laughed. “Don’t know what you mean,” I said as I turned my head the other way. “Come on Rixec, I may have burned that fake stuff but you were thinking of the same thing,” he said. “Thinking it and doing it are completely different things,” I replied. “Rixec, you feel like this relationship isn’t good at all too, am I wrong?” Sephirix smirked. I said nothing. Vanitas had proven himself to be a valuable ally; I couldn’t deny that. But there were times when I thought his involvement with Lexa brought out the worse sides of the two. Every time something happened involving one of them we had a big mess to deal with. How would it play out in the future? What happens if they break up or if one should die and not come back? And what would happen if one of them turned to the opposing side? There was a lot that could go wrong from their relationship if something happened. Both of them were so emotional and I’ve been involved with what happens when they get emotional since I was a Nobody. Their passion for each other was good, but too much passion can lead to a whole lotta rage when the dam breaks. “You shouldn’t have tried to burn her stuff,” I said. “She needed to let go of him,” Sephirix said. “Yeah, except he’s back now,” I told him. “Don’t remind me,” Sephirix scoffed. “Just keep your distance from us for the time being, all right?” I said. “Give Lexa time to cool off and enjoy Vanitas being back.” “Just be careful of Xero,” Sephirix said. “The treaty is almost over.” “Don’t have to tell me twice,” I grinned. “Oh, and please don’t do anything stupid like get in a fight with them – you’re totally gonna get in a fight with them.” Sephirix started giving me the innocent whistle and I sighed. “Just make sure no one gets killed,” I said. “You’re not gonna stop me?” he asked. “I’m hoping you do the right thing,” I said. “It’s called trust. I hope you can keep it.” “Later Rix,” he said as he started walking away. “Just where are we all going?” I sighed. There seemed to be forces working at pulling our group apart. Every day things seemed to get darker, like the end is coming. Just what would we do if it did? I left the alley and started walking down the streets, hoping to clear my head. As I walked, I noticed a familiar presence. “William?” I said. She didn’t see me, but she seemed hurt. I ran to where I saw her but she turned onto another street and I lost her in the crowd. “Damn,” I said. “What am I gonna tell Lexa?” Sephirix This bites. Bad enough Lexa was p!issed at me, but to have Vanitas back on top of it all was just! “^%$&,” I said, causing a mother nearby to give me a dirty look. Like I gave a damn. The thought of Vanitas being back was messed up. Why couldn’t anyone just stayed dead? All our problems would be solved if they did. Wouldn’t have the Xehanorts to worry about any longer. I just wanted to blow something up for the hell of it! “Trouble in paradise?” a familiar voice asked. I turned to see Avon nearby, smiling at me. “Just how do you keep finding me kid?” I asked. “Oh, and that prank you pulled got me into some serious trouble at the club.” “She deserved it; the only thing I can do to her that won’t screw me up,” she answered. “What does that mean?” I asked. “You’ll find out in time,” she grinned. “Anyway, I want you to meet some people.” “Who?” I asked. “Come with me and find out,” she said and started walking off. I really shouldn’t follow her. I had no idea who she was. But she seemed familiar and I thought maybe I could trust her. So I followed her. After a fifteen minute or so walk we came up to an old house and were at a cellar door. Avon opened it up and started walking down. I went in and had to tread carefully since there were no lights on these stairs. When we reached the bottom I saw a blue light appear in Avon’s hands and she pressed it against a wall. I watched as the wall opened up and we entered into a new area, completely different than the rest of Radiant Garden. “We’re not even in Radiant Garden now,” Avon said. “Welcome to the HQ of SOLDIER.” I knew that name; Sephiroth was once a part of this organization, it’s greatest champion. “I thought you guys were done for,” I said as I looked at all the people running around to different computers which showed different worlds and stuff. One thing I took note of was that they were wearing knight-like armor. “This is the new SOLDIER,” Avon said. “I’m its leader and co-founder.” “Co huh,” I said. “Here are the other two now,” she said as a young man and woman walked over to us. “Meet Nita and Anders.” Nita was an elegant woman, with long, black hair and lovely green eyes. She had a cool air about her and seemed like a formidable opponent. She seemed to be around twenty years old. Anders looked a little younger, like eighteen. He had crimson hair and green eyes as well. He pouted at me and turned his head. What was his problem? “Nice to meet you,” I said. “The pleasure is ours,” Nita said as she gave a short bow. Anders just “Tch!” at me. Nita gave Anders a good kick in the shin and he bit his lip as he tried to hold in his cry. “Forive my idiot brother,” she said. “It’s okay,” I shrugged. “I probably p!ssed on his favorite boom box or something.” “I do not own a boom box,” he mumbled as Nita gave a small chuckle. “So, why am I here?” I asked. “We want you to join SOLDIER Sephirix,” Avon said. “Only because of majority,” Anders mumbled. Nita raised her leg again but Anders jumped far away from her. I liked this Nita girl. “Thanks for the offer,” I said, “but I’m with a group already.” “The offer is always open,” Avon said as she opened the doorway back to Radiant Garden. That seemed too easy. Why go through all this trouble just to let me say no with ease? What was she playing? “Well, see you guys around,” I said as I went back. SOLDIER. Huh, I should probably tell the others about this but…. I was still p!ssed that Vanitas was back so I wouldn’t. Speaking of which, I should go pay him a visit.
  8. Back from SC; my cousin's wedding was beautiful.
  9. Heading off to SC tomorrow, so I probably won't be back on until Monday.
  10. Big fan of comics. This week I'll be spending close to $100. So many stories and heroes!
  11. Rixec Knock me out with a numb dart eh? Heh, ever since Xoncron put Sephirix to sleep with that potion I’ve been taking multiple pills and potions to counteract means such as that and others. Many would call me paranoid; well look who’s not in a numbed state right now! “What the hell Rixec?!” Xoncron whispered as I tackled him out of Lightning’s sight. “Wait, how are you here?” “Anti-numbing pill,” I shot back. “Now about that numb dart…” “Wait, you took an anti-numbing pill before all this?” Xoncron asked. “Not the point,” I said. “Why would you even take one? Who would even consider being hit with a numb dart a possibility?” Xoncron pressed on. “You know what?” I said. “Forget it. “I’ll settle this stereo typically since that’s the way you started.” Before Xoncron could do anything I sucker punched Xoncron across the face. I watched as he dropped to the floor like an old dumbbell. No one found it odd that I just punched him in the middle of this crowd. This is definitely a club made by Xero; no one asked any questions over any unusual activity. This might be the only time I’g glad for something Xero did. Though I still think she’s planning something evil. Now that I was done with Xoncron I walked over to Lightning. She was sitting at the bar with a glass of whisky in her hands. I sat down next to her as she gulped it down with no hesitation. “Can I buy you another?” I asked as she placed the empty glass down. “I suppose,” she said. “Two over here!” I called and two glasses of whisky came sliding over. Where does Xero find these guys? “Weren’t you the guy that tackled that Xoncron person?” she asked. “Tackled is a strong word,” I grinned. “Besides, man hit me with a numbing dart moment we walked in the door. What would you have done?” “Thrown him down the stairs,” she replied as she downed her glass. Scary thing is, I don’t think she’s joking. Note to self: never p!ss her off. “So, what do you think of the club?” I asked. “It’s fine,” she said. “But the owner doesn’t sit right with me.” “If there’s anyone who sits right with her, keep me away,” I laughed. Although it was a true statement. “Why don’t you sit with me?” Xero said as she walked up to us, a smile on her face. “Kinda busy,” I said as I sipped my whisky. God that was strong! Lightning was amazing to gulp it down with ease. “I said, why don’t you come sit with me?” she asked again. “Not interested,” I said as I took another sip. Xero puffed up her chest and walked off towards Shiki and ask her the same question. I couldn’t help but grin at her stupid insistence. As if anyone in their right mind would… “Okay…,” Shiki said in a drowsy voice as she followed Xero. I spat out my whisky as they went out of sight. “What the hell?” I mouthed. “She probably had one too many,” Lightning suggested. “Yeah, yeah, maybe,” I said, not too sure. I would have to look into this later. “So, Lightning! How would you like to go see some fireworks after this? I know the perfect spot-” I felt myself yanked back by a force of wind and flew through the crowd dancing on the floor. “Hey Rixec!” Lexa called as I flew by. I hit a hard wall and slumped to the floor. I heard a door shut in front of me and ran up to it. I twisted the knob but it wouldn’t budge. I summoned my Keyblade and struck at the door. Nothing. “Let me out!” I said as I banged on it. “You punched me dude,” Xoncron said. “Not cool.” “Oh you know it’s what you wanted,” I said. “Not really,” he said. “I’m off to chat with Lightning.” “You are so dead when I get out of this closet!” I said. “By all means,” Sephirix said as he opened the door. “Thanks,” I said. “I’m still p!ssed about that whole sleeping potion thing,” Sephirix said. “He must’ve spiked a drink of mine earlier since I was so stupid to take that second convenient cup. I’m still working on that though – it’s a theory in process. Oh, you might need this.” I grinned at the object Sephirix handed me. “Why did you have this?” I asked. “Took it from the house,” he answered. “Was hoping to find a reason to use it on Xero but then Lexa and went and made us promise.” “I know the feeling,” I said as I walked off. I saw Xoncron chatting it up with Lightning and grinned at what he was about to receive. “So he falls after that second cup I gave him!” Xoncron said, causing Lightning to laugh. “So what happened in order for him to wake up?” she asked as she turned to get another drink. “Don’t ask,” Xoncron stated. “I turned his hair pink while testing an antidote,” I said as I hit Xoncron on the head with a frying pan. I marveled at the Xoncron-shaped dent in the frying pan as he fell to the floor. Unfortunately, he got back up. “What the hell?” he moaned. “That was for the closet,” I said. “Where did you even get a frying pan?” he asked. “Who even owns one these days?” “Lots of people do,” I shot back. “So what do you two intend to do now?” Lightning asked us. “And tell me more about that pink hair.” “Not now,” Xoncron said. “Now, we settle this like men.” “I couldn’t agree more,” I said. Sephirix I laughed so much it brought tears to my eyes. Seeing Rixec and Xoncron charge at each other on makeshift horses and with makeshift lances was priceless! They both yelled as they charged at each other and then collided, causing them to moan in pain. I was hoping they would sumo next. Always a classic in fighting for a woman’s honor. Although, it looked like said woman was walking off with a tall, muscular brunette who happens to have a very earthy name. “Quite the show?” a familiar voice asked me and I turned to see a girl with short, blue hair and wearing a metal domino mask. “Avon,” I said as she watched down below with me from the rafters. “It really is a nice club. Shame about who owns it,” she stated. “I guess,” I said. “Now, are you going to tell me who you are?” “Why do you need to know that?” she asked. “Because in this day and age anyone unknown tends to be bad news,” I replied as I sipped a gin. Avon laughed and said, “I suppose so. But the real troublesome days are just ahead. Especially with Xero in our future.” “Well, she ain’t going anywhere at the moment,” I sighed. “True, and there’s not much I can do about her. I can’t do anything,” she sighed sadly. “However…” I watched down below as all of the corks started shooting off the alcohol bottles and flinging off the walls! Fireworks shot out of said bottles after them and the whole club went into a frenzy! People were running for the doors as the sprinklers went off. “^%$#ing @ss,” I gazed at the sight. “You did this?” “The best I can do against her,” she said. “Soon, no one will be able to.” The way Avon spoke was as if she knew something no one else did, something important. As if she had suffered some personal loss because of Xero. “Avon,” I asked, “who are you?” She spread her arms out as a smile flew across her face. “Just an old soldier,” she said as a portal of light appeared beneath her feet and she disappeared. “You!” an angry voiced screeched. I turned around to see an angry Xero who was soaked and breathing slowly, holding a silver hair in her hand. Oh, this was not good for me.
  12. I'll try and come up with something.
  13. Sephirix Today I learned something very important. One, I need to find someone evil enough to kill penguins should the need arise. Two, never accept a free fish from a fish market going out of business again. I stepped out of the shower and after I finished drying my body off I gave it a quick sniff and was repulsed. After four showers I still smelled like salmon and bird crap. I’ve even gone through a whole bottle of shampoo already. I grumbled as I walked out across the hall; I walked into my room and changed into my spare outfit, the one that didn’t get caught up in the penguin attack. So help me Xoncron, when I think of a way to get you! I sighed, deciding I would save it for another day, one he wouldn’t expect. It might take years, but I’ll do it. I walked back out and into the living room and saw Rixec pacing around the room. He looked irritated and concerned. Never a good sign. “Yo,” I said as I plopped on the chair. “What’s up?” “Well, for one thing, you and I are the only ones here at the moment,” he said as he circled me. “Wait, what?” I asked. “Xero’s out at her thing, and Lexa and Xoncron are gone too,” Rixec said. “Given what’s happen I think we should be more careful. We’ve already lost Vanitas and we’re living with one of our biggest enemies.” “What about the truce?” I grinned. “Keeps a b!tch down on her leash.” “A leash just makes it easier for a dog to pull the master down,” Rixec countered. “No, I think this truce is part of some grander scheme.” “The next big prank?” I offered as I grabbed a pretzel out of a bag. “No,” Rixec sighed. “But that’s my point. We’re relaxing like we don’t have a care in the world. Meanwhile, who knows what Xero is planning behind our backs. This truce is only temporary and what will happen once it ends?” I had to admit, he had a point. “But where’s your basis on this?” I asked. “Just a feeling,” Rixec said as he sat down. “After everything we’ve gone through I think we shouldn’t underestimate anyone who’s tried to kill us.” What Rixec was saying made perfect sense. I certainly wanted to throw Xero out, but Lexa hated me enough so maybe if I put up with her evil dark soul half she’ll give me some brownie points. If it came down to it though I could so take her at any moment, no matter what she was planning. “We can take her,” I said. Rixec How I wished I believed Sephirix. But after everything we’d gone through I felt like we hadn’t seen Xero’s true power yet. When she finally came out though what then? What could someone like me do if it came down to that? Let’s face it; I didn’t do too much when Xoncron’s dark half went rampant. Even Sephirix did slightly more than me. What point was there in me being here? Would things have worked out well if I never came at all? He didn’t say anything, but I had the feeling Xoncron thinks his war with Norcnox would have gone better if I wasn’t around. I gazed up at the stars, which shined so brightly on us all. They gave a sense of hope for the future that everything would be all right. I certainly hope so, because God help us if not. Out of everyone here, I felt like Xero would present the greatest threat in time. Less than a month until the truce ends, less than a month until the judgment day. What would happen and who would come out on top? “Just gotta take it one day at a time,” I said to myself as I turned in for the night.
  14. Sephirix I had a bad taste in my mouth, and it just wasn’t from Xero kissing me. Okay, the actual bad taste was totally from that, but I meant it in a metaphorical way, which, ironically, was from when Xero kissed me. ^&*%. Ever since Xero kissed me I’ve had a strange sensation, like there was some vicious, dark plan bubbling up inside her. It is Xero, so I’m sure she has something, but we’re in the middle of a truce right now so we should be safe. Besides, if I were to mention it to anyone else they would toss it aside as me trying to convince them she was totally bad news at the moment due to the kiss. The point was, there was no proof or anything, so I might as well wait. I was strolling around Radiant Garden by myself today; I needed some me time. Of course, I got strange looks from the citizens as I went by. I did cause a ruckus last time I was here. Defeating Special Forces, fighting Yuffie, Leon, and Cloud – kicking their butts while at it – and leaving cocoa-less. So I wasn’t RG’s favorite son. Big deal. “You shouldn’t be here.” I turned my head to see Cloud, who was totally p!ssed off. I guess the Sephiroth in me gets me that. “There’s a truce, so I have every right,” I smirk. “Besides, I was on the goody two shoes side.” “Everything Sephiroth does he does for a reason,” Cloud stated as he walked by me. “And you’re no different.” “Contrary to popular opinion,” I laughed. “The moment you show your true colors, I’ll finish you, once and for all,” Cloud said. “You and your master Sephiroth.” “I have no master,” I said, annoyed. “Except for me.” Cloud grunted as he walked away and out of sight. Man, that guy totally needs a chill pill when it comes to Sephiroth. It was always about Sephiroth this, Sephiroth that, Sephiroth killed my girl in one universe and will do it here too – Cloud needs to get a dog. He’d look good with one. “You hear about the new club?” I turned my head to see a pretty girl sitting at the café that was wrecked last time I was there. She appeared to be around fourteen, blue hair that reached down to her neck, and she wore a silver, metal domino mask that covered her eyes. Other than the mask, she dressed quite normally, in a white skirt, an indigo tank top, and red heels. “What club?” I asked. “The one started by that girl that’s dreary looking,” she said as she took a sip of coffee. “The one opening in a week or so.” “Xero,” I whispered. What could she be up to now? I better not accept any drinks from her; God knows what she’d put in them. “Probably shouldn‘t go.” “It could be interesting,” the girl smiled as she put her cup down. She stood up and walked up next to me, never looking me in the eye. “And with someone as dangerous as her it’s best to keep an eye on her.” I never looked at the girl but I was intrigued by what she was saying. She wasn’t ordinary, that’s for sure. And yes, the mask qualified as ordinary. “I know that much,” I replied. “Then maybe you should go,” she suggested. “Things might get interesting.” “May I have the name of the one telling me this?” I asked. She giggled and started walking away from me, but I heard her answer as she left. “Avon,” she said. By the time I turned around she was gone. It was a moment later I realized there wasn’t anyone like her anywhere. Damn. All these Dark selves and copies and dead coming back I should make sure to keep an eye on new people. Rixec Something was wrong. Xero hadn’t even tried to get even after I walked in as Sephirix and pranked her. Not a thing. Nada. Zippo. I’d better keep my guard up in case she tries something at a later date. Because I had the strangest feeling the moment she tried something all hell would break loose on the universe. How did I know this? Because she’s Xero. Nuff said.
  15. Rixec Lexa and Xero were out today, so that gave us time to work. Xoncron, Sephirix, and I were all in the secret War Room that we had built after the pyro incident. Today the discussion was the continuation of vengeance against the girls, but we hadn’t gotten as far as I would have liked yet. “I say this plan looks good,” Sephirix said as he passed the paper around. “Sephirix,” Xoncron said, “I am not setting my hair ablaze and turning my skin pink. How does that get back at the girls anyway?” “Oh! Sorry, you’re looking on the wrong side of the paper. Those are my future plans for you if you ever potion-fy me again.” “I need new friends,” Xoncron sighed. I turned the paper over and looked over Sephirix’s plan. The details that went into it, the amazing penmanship in writing it, this was Sephirix’s work if I ever saw it. “So, when do we put it into motion?” I asked. “Tonight,” Sephirix grinned. Several hours passed and we were just sitting in the War Room. About ten minutes before the girls got back Xoncron asked, “Why didn’t we just leave the War Room when we were done and go do something fun?” “I thought of that,” I said, “but you just seemed so comfortable sitting here that I didn’t want to bring it up. Plus, I didn’t want to be the first to show weakness.” “Amen to the pride buddy,” Sephirix said and I fist bumped him. Lexa and Xero were giggling when they got in – about their prank on us – but they wouldn’t be giggling for long. Sephirix’s plan was a mastpiece. Night fell upon Radiant Garden and the girls were getting ready for bed. We were betting ready as well; this was gonna be on interesting night. ??? I walked into Xero’s room quietly; she lay upon her bed in a twisted position, much like her mind was. I walked up to her and shook her shoulder. “Xero? Wake up Xero.” Xero’s eyes fluttered open and she blinked in surprise of seeing me. “Sephirix! What are you doing in my room?” she asked angrily. “Shhh,” I said as I pressed a finger to her lips. “There will be time for that later. Right now, I want to talk about you and me.” She raised an eyebrow, skeptical of me. “What could you possibly want to discuss about us. We have nothing in common.” “Don’t we,” I grinned as I placed a hand under her chin. “Remove your hand before I do something that will break the treaty. And I assure you, Lexa will back me up on this. Your precious Lexa.” “Oh Lexa!” I laughed. “She’s yesterday’s news.” Xero was confused by what I was doing. It was actually pretty interesting to see the girl who had given us a lot of trouble like this. “Has anyone ever told you hoe radiant you are Xero?” I asked. “What?” she blinked. She started to grow angry and said, “What are you planning Sephirix?” “Wrong phrasing,” I grinned. “Let me tell you something interesting.” I bent down and whispered three words in her ear. In the two seconds she was blushing out of embarrassment and anger I darted from the room, laughing. Had to move before she caught me! ??? I watched from the window outside as Lexa woke to the sight of Sephirix in her room. “Sephirix!” she exclaimed as she pulled her sheets close to her chest. “What are you gonna do now? Be warned, I’ll kick your @ss in three seconds flat.” “Lexa,” he said, “we have to talk.” Lexa cocked her head to the side, unsure of what was happening. “This is unlike you Sephirix.” “I’ve had an epiphany,” he said. I watched as he grinned and sat down on the end of the bed. This was gonna be fun. It was the most ingenious plan ever. “I realized that I don’t love you.” At that moment I started walking back into the house and towards Lexa’s room. On the opposite end of the house I could hear Xero and grinned. Everything was going according to plan so far. When I got to Lexa’s room I heard her say, “Sephirix, what are you talking about?” “I mean that I love somebody else,” he said. “Some far hotter than you.” Those last words came out a bit hesitantly. He was gonna ruin everything! I walked in and grinned at Lexa’s charming face. “Axel!” she exclaimed. “What are you doing here?!” “Claiming my BF,” I aid as I grabbed the man on her bed and brought him close to me. Lexa’s face was horrified as she saw the image of us kissing. We darted out of the room, holding hands as Lexa chased after us. ??? I laughed as I came into the den and sat down on the couch’s arm. Xero followed me in and had her Keyblade out, brimming with flames. “You’re a dead man Sephirix,” she gritted through her teeth, but she was smiling the whole time. Pyros always have the creepiest grins when angry. “But the fun hasn’t even started yet,” I laughed as the sight of Axel and Sephirix came into the room, followed by Lexa. Axel and the other Sephirix joined me on the couch. The girls blinked in surprise at the sight of two Sephirixs. “What the?” Lexa gawked. “How?” Xero gasped. At that moment the floor cackled with electricity and the girls jumped up in shock as the electricity flowed through them from their bare feet to their heads. We laughed as their hair became frizzled, like Frankenstein’s wife. They screamed as they looked at each other, realizing the same must have happened to them. The effects died out after a few seconds and their hair was normal again. “Oh sure,” the other Sephirix said, “you fix their hair.” “I like my life,” I grinned as I undid the spell and I changed. “Rixec?!” the girls screamed. Sephirix I grinned at the success of my plan as I changed back from Axel and undid the spell on Xoncron, who had also become me. “Should have thought twice about that pyro incident,” I laughed. The girls came up to us and started hitting us all repeatedly; not enough to really hurt us – except for a few certain punches – but it was worth it. It meant we succeeded. “What did you do?” Lexa asked. “I transformed into Sephirix and charmed Xero,” Rixec explained. “Did not,” Xero scoffed as she turned her head, still blushing. “And I became Axel and turned Xoncron into me as well,” I laughed as I saw the discomfort on Xoncron’s face. “We wanted to mess with you after what you did to us but the only way we’d be able to get you out here was to make you overcome with emotion that you wouldn’t suspect us of anything.” “But you and Axel – I mean – you and Xoncron kissed!” Lexa exclaimed. “Just an illusion spell,” Xoncron said. “Thank God we have magic.” “Agreed,” I said. “But if you that disappointed Lexa you can kiss me now.” “How ‘bout a kick instead?”she glared. “Come on,” Rixec laughed. “We’re all even now so we can keep this vacation up.” “Oh, we’re not done yet,” Xero said as she glared at Rixec. “I’ll deal with you at a later date. Time is not on your side.” The girls walked back to their rooms to get some sleep and I pulled out three thermoses of cocoa. “Good work tonight men,” I said as I passed them each a thermos. “Next time let’s do things a little differently,” Xoncron said. “Even if we didn’t kiss I didn’t like being that close to you.” “The point is, we did well,” Rixec said as he took a sip. “That’s about all we can ask for.” “By the way,” I asked, “what did you say to Xero? It must have been different from what I told you to say.” “Yeah,” Rixec grinned. “And it’s our little secret.”
  16. Rixec I was p!ssed off. As Lexa, Xero, and Xoncron talked about what they should do my eyes fluttered over to the sleeping Sephirix. Seriously Xoncron – a sleeping potion? I’ll let go of the fact the two of us are connected and the fact that Sephirix was under was making me irritable, did he realize just how dangerous that was to a guy like Sephirix? It was tough keeping the news of Heartless attacking people randomly across the worlds – Heartless summoned by Sephirix. A sleeping potion always brings out more awareness in the user and to summon with powers like Sephirix that was never a good thing. But we were on vacation so I wasn’t about to ruin it here. Though I had to wake Sephirix up before the truce was broken and we find ourselves buried in sh!t! I had already prepped a potion to cure it but I didn’t know if it worked or not. Not too many sleeping victims around and if I messed up here God knows what Sephirix could do next. And because of our connection, who knows how that could affect me. I needed a guinea pig; and it was already in motion. I watched as Xoncron drank his water – mixed with the same sleeping potion. Still wonder how Sephirix could trust Xoncron that easily – he never did that! Well, maybe he would for Lexa but that’s another story entirely! God, I gotta wake him up soon before I go crazy. Xoncron fell face forward and banged his head on the table, snoozing. Lexa and Xero looked at me and asked simultaneously, “What did you do?” “He had it coming,” I scoffed. I took out the syringe and examined the pink liquid inside. “Don’t worry; if I did my calculations right he should be about to wake up.” “We could keep him asleep,” Xero said. “Maybe even put the two of you under while we’re at it.” “Yeah, and a week later we’ll find our faces scribbled on,” Lexa said. “I make no promises,” Xero hummed. I injected the syringe into Xoncron’s neck and waited a few moments. Nothing happened. I sighed and placed the syringe down but then I saw Xoncron twitch. A bright, pink light emanated from him and we all had to close our eyes to avoid being blinded. I bit my lip hard enough to make it bleed; I could feel a BIG Heartless attacking somewhere. God help me Xoncron, if you don’t wake up! When the light died we opened our eyes and gawked at the awakened Xoncron. Lexa and Xero burst into laughter and fell onto the floor, tears streaming from them. “What?” Xoncron asked as I looked at the syringe. “Note to self,” I said. “Put less pink food dye in the next batch.” “What does that mean?” Xoncron asked, panicked. “Do not look in mirror,” I said, averting my gaze. “Why? Aughhh!” he cried as he looked over at the mirror next to him. “I told him not to look in mirror!” I cried as Lexa and Xero laughed harder. “He never listens.” “Not the time for Jackie Chan Rixec!” Xoncron shouted. “My hair is PINK!” “Relax, it’ll wear off,” I assured him. Maybe. Possibly. No. I had no idea whatsoever. Oh well. Within an hour, I had a new batch ready and woke Sephirix up with no pink hair. I felt much better and the Heartless were returning to the shadows. Oh, and Xoncron made a mistake about the potion. Sephirix, not being a regular person, remembered everything. However, the sight of Xoncron with pink hair made him laugh so hard he decided to let the whole thing go.
  17. Rixec I sighed as the hot sun beat down on me as I lay in the sand. After the final battle with Xoncron’s evil half a one month truce was formed so we had that whole time to relax. The first place on the agenda was some time at the Destiny Isles. It was practically one of the safest worlds there was and had been almost entirely free of Darkness. “Hey Rixec!” Lexa called from the water. “Come on in!” I looked up and saw Lexa and Xoncron splashing about in the ocean and shrugged. “I’m fine for the moment; maybe later.” “Come on Rix! Make good use of the truce while you can!” Lexa cried. “Later,” I said as Xoncron hit Lexa with a big splash, making her angry. I lay my head back down and think about all we had been through since we had gotten sucked into this world. There were so many times where I almost died or really did – depending on the day. Hell, Sephirix and I had almost died once more when we pushed the copy of Xoncron’s dark half into the sun. I must admit, after all the hell he had given us seeing even a copy of him burning up as he cried out in anguish was appealing. If not for Xero the two of us would have burned up with him and we wouldn’t be here right now. I felt as if I owed her or something but then again she can be the enemy at times so I had better make sure she never uses me against my friends. Heck, Xero and I barely knew one another. Not like we had any time to get to know each other. Closest interaction with me she’s had is with Sephirix. I looked at him sitting on the tree branch above as he stared at Lexa through a pair of binoculars. I still wonder what it was that made him attracted to Lexa and why he didn’t give up. She was clearly into Vanitas though he was dead at the moment. She said he would find a way back but I wondered. Some characters had come back in the games, sure, but things seemed a bit different here. Who knows what could happen when the truce was over. I raised a hand up and summoned a ball of light and made it float above me for a bit. I had been called here as the Bringer of Light, but I didn’t do too much in the final battle with Xoncron’s dark half. So was my purpose still not done here? And if so, when would it happen? Between Xoncron and Lexa I felt like the random tagalong. The two of them had plenty to do with their dark halves but I didn’t really have one like them. Closest as Sephirix and he’s more friend than foe. Sephirix, the man made from me and Sephiroth. Who knows what he was fully capable of; where would he be when all this was over and we go home? Would he come with us or stay here? Sephirix Lexa looked magnificent in her crimson swimsuit. The way the light went about it made her look like a dancing flame that wouldn’t burn out. Of course, the only reason she could be so happy right now was because of that bit of hope she had gotten from Vanitas. Man, even when he’s dead I still have trouble competing with him. Maybe I should kidnap Lexa like he did and see where it gets me. “Not thinking anything illegal are you?” Rixec asked as he played with a ball of light. “Nothing that hasn’t happened to someone already,” I answered as I chuckled as Lexa slipped and landed on her butt. “You don’t really have a chance with her right now,” Rixec said as he flicked the ball of light at the laughing Xoncron and he fell face forward into the water, causing Lexa to start laughing at him. “Why is it whenever someone dies they have to do it awesomely?” I questioned. “Can’t someone go pathetically?” “I’d like to avoid that,” Rixec answered. “Nearly died enough here. Hate to actually go out in a pathetic manner.” “Want to have some fun?” I smirked as I observed Lexa put Xoncron into a headlock. “Your idea of fun is sadistic and terrifying,” Rixec answered. “What do you have in mind?” Rixec Sephirix and I had finished preparations by the time Lexa and Xoncron came out of the water. “You really should have come in Rixec,” Lexa said as water dripped off her hair and on to me. “It’s not later yet,” I said as I stood up. “But how about some volleyball?” “Sounds fun!” Lexa chirped. “Really?” Xoncron asked as he drank his juice. “Come on Xon!” Lexa said as she took a sip herself. “We can win easily!” “On the contrary,” Sephirix smiled. “Rixec and I will cream you.” “Want to make a bet?” Lexa smirked. “Loser has to serve the winner for a week,” Sephirix said. “Deal,” Lexa said as she and Sephirix shook on it. “I’m gonna love making you dress as a chicken-butler.” “That’s interesting,” I said as I stretched. We were ready in a few minutes and me and Sephirix were ready for them. “Loser serves the winner across from them now,” I said. “First to get one point wins.” Everyone agreed as I served the ball and it went flying up As soon as it went over Lexa spiked it down hard but Sephirix dove under it and hit it up. I jumped intot he air and spiked it down but Lexa threw Xoncron under it and it bounced off his head. She hit it over but I was prepared and hit it back. Lexa and I hit the ball back and forth repeatedly, Sephirix diving for the ball when Lexa hit it and Lexa throwing Xoncron under whenever I spiked it. “Why do you keep throwing me?!” Xoncron yelled. “Need to win,” Lexa huffed as she hit the ball over. “I’m gonna put Sephirix in a tutu.” “I don’t know what scares me more,” I said as I hit the ball back. “What you just said, or that I think we’d still look damn good in it.” “What makes you think the latter?” Xoncron asked. “I look good in everything and seeing as how Sephirix looks like me except for a few colors in eyes and hair that works the same for him,” I answered as Lexa spiked the ball. Sephiris dove and hit it up but he didn’t have enough strength. I yelled as I dove and hit it up, barely over the net. Lexa jumped up with a smirk on her face. “It’s over!” she roared as she swung her foot at the ball but then her face became agitated and she missed, the ball hitting the ground. “Point!” Sephirix yelled as Lexa and Xoncron started holding their stomachs. “Bathroom!” Xoncron yelled as he ran off, Lexa joining after him. Sephirix helped me up and shook the sand off me. “We did it,” he said. “Just what was it you put in their drinks?” I asked. “You’re better off not knowing,” Sephirix answered. When Lexa and Xoncron returned they looked terrible. I wondered if it was from the bathroom trip or the lost. “A deal’s a deal,” Lexa pouted as Sephirix smiled at her. “Right then,” Sephirix said. “Lexa, I would like you to…” “Hold it,” I smirked as I held my hand up. I said ‘Loser serves the winner across from them now’ earlier. At the time, Lexa was across me and Xoncron was across Sephirix.” “So that means…,” Lexa said as a smile of relief came across her face. “Lexa serves me and Xoncron is for Sephirix,” I said. Sephirix looked at me with horror and said, “You little b@stard.” “You agreed when we started the game.” “I’ll get you for this someday,” he sighed as he walked off. “Oh, Xoncron, go put on a chicken mask and a tutu.” “Thanks,” Xoncron groaned at me as he walked off. “Thanks,” Lexa smiled at me. “No prob,” I said. “Good playing earlier.” “You too,” she said. “Funny how we had to go to the bathroom at the same time at the vital moment.” “Coincidence,” I shrugged. “I know nothing.” “Right,” she said. “So what do you want me to do?” “Well,” I said. “It’s later… want to play in the water?” Lexa grinned at me and ran toward the ocean and I ran after her. A month wasn’t very long, so we had to make the best of it.
  18. Rixec “Is that all you pitiable Keyblade Masters are capable of?” the copy of Dark Xoncron laughed as he turned his head to avoid a blast of fire. I pointed my Keyblade at him and shouted, “Thundaga!” A blast of lightning fell from the sky but the copy just jumped away from it, but he wasn’t safe just yet. Sephirix was under him now and he slashed upwards with his Keyblade. The copy parried it and a ball of Darkness appeared in his hand. He fired it at Sephirix but he threw his hand in front of his chest and caught the dark attack. The impact, though, sent him skidding back, making two long dents in the earth. “I almost feel sorry for you,” the copy sneered, “that you even think you have a chance of beating me.” “You’re not the first villain to think that,” Sephirix grunted as he took a fighting position. “And you won’t be the last.” Sephirix snapped his fingers and a horde of Heartless appeared by his side. I closed my eyes and focused, drawing on the power of the light. Ever since we had been separated we had seemed to separate the Light and darkness that was growing inside me before Sephirix was created. The Heartless leapt at the copy but he batted them all aside, evaporating into a dark mist as he slaughtered every single one. But that gave me enough time to prepare my magic. Seven spears of light appeared above my head and I roared as I threw them all at the copy. The copy saw the attack coming and ran right at them. As the first spear closed in he bent backwards as he slid under it and then proceeded to flip in between the second and third spears. He landed on the ground and shifted his head as the fourth spear whizzed by. Darkness stated to flow in his hands and he caught the fifth and sixth spears which soon disintegrated from his darkness. His timing was a bit off though because as he tried to jump out of the way of the seventh spear he was scratched on the back of his hand. The copy threw his Keyblade as me and I just barely brought my two up in front of me to block it. The impact sent me flying into a rocky wall though; I hit it with a thud and fell facedown, a few small rocks falling on me. Dang it; even when he was slightly less powerful than the original we still couldn’t take him. I felt the tip of a Keyblade against the back of my neck and was able to make my eyes look up to see the copy above me, grinning. “Keyblade Master Rixec,” he sneered. “The man who dies and dies again. Now die one last time and know you won’t be coming back.” “Transcendence!” Sephirix shouted. Three purplish-black spheres appeared from him and shot out in all directions. The gravity for the copy died out and he was lifted up and thrown quite a good distance from us. I acted before he could recover. “Meteor!” I shouted and a large meteor came crashing down on the copy, sending a great deal of fire in all directions. We could feel the intense heat and waited as the dust cleared. “Tornado!” a voice shouted as Sephirix and I felt us lifted up into the air and spun around. We hit the ground with a crash and gasped in pain. I looked to see the copy walking toward us, almost perfectly fine, but crossed. Oh, we were so dead. “Dark Firaga,” Sephirix called out weakly and shot a dark fire ball at the copy. The copy swung his Keyblade and the attack died like it was nothing. “Ice Barrage,” I whispered and ice rose from the ground where the copy was but then it shattered into a thousand pieces, the copy brushing a few crystals off his shoulders as he continued toward us. “Your attacks are meaningless,” the copy said, crossed. “Compared with the wrath of Lexa, and even the weakling Xoncron, you two are the most pathetic Keyblade Masters ever.” “Blackout!” Sephirix roared. “Bind!” I called out. The copy suddenly found himself locked in place and turned his head in all directions, blind from the blackout. “If you think you can stop me for long then you’re bigger fools than I thought.” Sephirix and I whispered the same command and hoped it would work. My Bind weakened first and the copy took a step toward us as his blindness started to vanish. “You two are-” he started to stay before the explosion at his feet threw him into the air and it happened again and again and so on. Sephirix and I had laid Seeker Mines at his feet while he couldn’t see or move. His hastiness got him caught up in our trap. But even those attacks did little to him, except make him angrier. The copy roared and Sephirix and I found ourselves flung back and skidded across the ground. Damn it! There had to be something we could do to beat this guy! But what? What? What! Sephirix Not the best fight I’ve ever had. Xoncron’s evil dark-soul-half thing’s copy was giving us a beating. We were doing a bit farer earlier when the witch Xero joined us but then she took off. I am so gonna give her a beating if we all live through this. “Sephirix,” Rixec mumbled. “What is it mate?” I asked. “We’re not gonna be able to win this separately,” he went on. “We need to do something bold to win.” “What do you got in mind?” I asked. He told me the plan and I couldn’t help but grin. “Kamikaze,” I mumbled. “If we’re off by a microsecond we’re dead too.” “We’re about to die anyway,” Rixec grunted as he stood up. “At least we can take him with us.” “Agreed,” I said as I joined him. “Have you two decided to give yourselves to oblivion?” the copy asked. I rushed forward and yelled, “Shadowbreaker!” I slashed at him with a blade of darkness which he shrugged off and then a blade of light which made him flinch at the very least. The copy tried to slash me but I used Counter Aura and sent him flying back but he recovered almost instantly and rushed me. I glanced back and saw a great amount of light surrounding Rixec. I began the process for summoning Heartless but took in their Darkness before they could appear. This was gonna be rough. “I’ve had enough of you two!” the copy shouted as a dark energy formed at the end of his Keyblade. “Light!” Rixec shouted. “Darkness!” I added. A circle of the two joined together, surrounding all three of us. The copy stopped in his tracks and looked around frantically. “What the hell do you two think you’re doing?!” “Warp!” we both cried and all three of us were teleported off this world. We found ourselves in the vacuum of the Lanes Between and summoned our protective gear so we could breathe. We were also near the gravitational pull of a sun. “You ^&%#@#% insane b@stards!” the copy shouted. Rixec and I summoned our elements and dove right into the copy, pushing him toward the sun. He was shouting and attacking us all the way, but we had to succeed! Even if we had to die in the process.
  19. Sephirix I rode until I saw a large, circular stone, with a gray, square shaped device with several buttons on it. “That must be it,” I moaned. “Argh!” My head split open and I lost control of my bike. It started swerving and then it fell onto its side and I fell off, rolling. I rolled forward but the bike went right over me – which was not a good thing to feel. I thought I felt something break, but my head was ion far too much pain to know what. Aghjfadgjkyuedgdfghryfj! I started limping over toward the device, grunting. I felt a trickle of blood on the side of my head, my skin beginning to break further, light and darkness spilling out. “Ah %$#^,” I whispered. “I really don’t want to die, but it’s happening. I either die like this or when I separate. Crap; I never got a chance to really live. That was all I wanted. Must this really be the end?” WEAKLING! I lost all sense in my legs and I fell forward, gasping heavily. There was nothing left, I couldn’t be saved. This isn’t over yet! I failed everyone; myself, Rixec, Sephiroth, the others. Maybe it would be better to die now. Those others made you weak. They made him strong; they made him a real person. He is who he is because of me. Us. But he’s evolved beyond us. He’s fought his own battles, developed his own feelings. He’s not doing what he does because of us, but because of him. He’s living his own life! Lived. I just want it to end already; just let me go already. I felt darkness overtake my sight and I began to fall. This was it for me. NO! I opened my eyes but they weren’t really my eyes, but the sight of my heart. I looked up to see Rixec holding my hand as we dangled over the edge of a cliff. “You’re really troublesome, you know that,” he grinned. “But, I don’t really hate you.” “You should use your energy to save yourself,” I mumbled. “Maybe you can move my body forward to separate yourself.” “I’m not going without you; I understand you,” Rixec said. “You are different from anyone else in this universe or the next. No light, not darkness, no programming made you who you are. You did, and I’m not letting a friend go!” “You’re an idiot,” I laughed but I felt warm. Like that time with Lexa. Maybe I was being idiotic, but I reached up and took hold of him. Rixec grinned wider and he began to pull me up. The cliff beneath his feet was starting to crack. “Together, or not at all,” Rixec whispered. The rock broke apart and we began to fall into the abyss, right before our sudden stop. We looked up to see Sephiroth, holding onto Rixec’s leg. “Don’t misunderstand,” he said, “I need you to separate us. I have no intention of dying here.” With ease he pulled the both of us up. Rixec and I were panting heavily now. “Time’s running out,” I said. “I know,” Rixec grunted. But your body’s too damaged to move.” “So what do we do?” I asked. Rixec pondered about it before snapping his fingers. “Maybe a sudden shock would give us the strength to move you forward.” “What kind of shock?” I asked. Rixec laughed and said, “I think I picked up a little of you.” He pulled me to the other side of the cliff and we looked down into the dark waters. “What are you…” Rixec pushed me off before proceeding to jump after me. Sephiroth watched us with amusement. “Now I know where my insanity came from!” I exclaimed. “I thought it was yours to begin with,” Rixec grinned as a bright light appeared and swallowed us. I jolted awake and jumped to my feet. I took the last, fateful steps toward the device and fell to my knees in front of it. I picked it up and started fiddling with it. I was almost out of time in this deathtrap. “Come on, come on,” I whispered. “^%$# it.” I banged it hard on the rock and it began to work, but something was wrong with it. It was getting static-y and a red light was buzzing. “Oh ^%$#” A white explosion swallowed me and I lost my senses. Rixec I groaned as I pulled myself to my feet. I looked up to see an angry Sephiroth leaving this world. At least he didn’t kill me. I felt normal again and that made me sad. I had wanted to help Sephirix, but I was unable to do even that. “Some Bringer of Light I am,” I muttered. “Don’t sell yourself short,” a voice laughed. I went into shock and then I slowly turned around to see Sephirix not far behind me. He was barely standing because of his injuries but there were no signs of degrading. “Apparently that evil Xoncron didn’t think of what a malfunctioning device would have on the Bringer of Light,” Sephirix grinned.
  20. “%^$# him!” I roared as I tried to stand. “Sephirix,” Xoncron said in a panic, “we need to go rescue everyone!” “One problem genius, this is a deathtrap!” I grunted. “The three are in different locations and time is running out. What we need to do is split up.” “What? Have you seen how strong my dark half truly is?” Xoncron gaped. “We need to stay together; besides, you’re barely holding up as it is.” “That’s why we need to split up,” I hissed. “We’ll never get everything done one at a time. You need to go after Lexa while I get the damn device.” “What about Vanitas?” Xoncron asked. I thought about it for a moment and then I put one hand on Xoncron’s shoulder and said, “I’ll miss him.” “Sephirix!” Xoncron exclaimed. “No one can take a joke in the face of a deathtrap anymore, can they?’ I sighed. A sharp pain went through my head and I clutched it tightly, my nails digging into my cranium. Stop talking and go! You’re wasting time! They all need you! You should only get the device. The others don’t matter as much as the three of us. “I’ll decide what to do!” I roared as I hit the ground, causing a tremor. “Sephirix?” Xoncron gaped. “There’s no time for debate,” I said, as my face continued to crack. “I’ll get the device while you get Lexa. And the moment one or both of us finishes we rush to Vanitas. That’s all we can do.” Xoncron started to say something but he hesitated and then he nodded. “You’re right.” “Course I am,” I grinned. “I’m always right.” No, that‘s me. That movie incident really bothers you, doesn’t it? “I gotta go,” I said as I summoned my bike. It came right up to us and I hopped on. “I guess this is goodbye.” “I guess so,” Xoncron said as he clasped hands. “Let’s go show evil you who’s boss,” I said as I drove off toward the device that could save me, Rixec, and Sephiroth.
  21. Heh, yeah. >D Put it in just to see if anybody would spot it. Plus, it didn't help that I just watched it again a couple days ago.
  22. Vain I ducked down as a Heartless jumped at me. I wasn’t aware that Sephirix could summon these guys; Ansem was also p!ssed about that. Apparently Norcnox made a wrong move when he attempted to make Rixec fall into Darkness. “This is crazy!” Xero yelled as she sent a ring of fire at Sephirix. Sephirix swiftly moved aside and swung his Keyblade. The shock that emanated sent Xero and Ansem flying, electricity cackling off their bodies. “I can no longer tell if my plan is working,” Norcnox hissed. “Oh evil Xoncron, you perspicuous twit,” Sephiix said gleefully. Sephirix summoned a giant Heartless and it threw itself onto Norcnox, exploding. The impact sent me flying as well and I hit the rocks hard. Once the dust had cleared I looked up to see the gaping crater in the ground, Norcnox barely alive. I looked at Sephirix and realized he had been playing around since his creation. He had never gotten serious until now; it was horrifying and thrilling. I summoned my Keyblade and rushed at him. Sephirix I had to beat these sons of bitches down once and for all! I clashed blades with Vain and grinned as I pushed forward a teeny bit. That force knocked his Keyblade out of his hand and I put my right hand, glowing with light, up to his chest. “Boom boom,” I laughed as it exploded, leaving a cloud of dust in front of me. Vain fell backwards, bleeding badly. He called back his Keyblade and struck the ground, using it to stand. “I thought this is what you wanted?” I sneered as I started walking toward him, my Keyblade skidding the ground. “Sephirix!” evil Xoncron called out as he rushed at me. He hit me in the side and sent me flying back, but I quickly recovered before I could hit the stone wall. “Well la dee da,” I laughed. “You still think you’re gonna win.” “I have won,” he growled. “Well then, why don’t I just – ugh!” I gasped. Something was wrong with me. My mind felt like it was getting worse and better at the same time. WrySefg need to go! Even I must admit this does us no good at the present time. Get out of here before you kill us all! I breathed in and out slowly as I raised my Keyblade to the sky and fired a beam of light. Their shielding broke apart and I summoned my black feathers to get me to a haven. “Not long now,” I heard evil Xoncron laugh weakly as I left.
  23. “You should not have a bike this cool,” Xoncron said as we arrived at Radiant Garden. “Yeah, and we should have gone to check a different world, but we all can’t have what we want,” I grumbled as I hopped off. “What do you have against coming here anyway?” Xoncron asked. “Well, let’s say there was a complication here recently,” I hummed. “You started a fight, didn’t you?” Xoncron said flatly. “In my defense, they attacked first,” I exclaimed. “I was waiting for…” “Cocoa?” Xoncron suggested. “See? You really are starting to get me,” I said gleefully. “Who’d you fight anyway?” “Oh, Leon, Yuffie, some cannon fodder, Cloud,” I listed off.” Xoncron stopped where he was and gaped at me. “You fought all three of them and made it out okay?!” he exclaimed. “I’m not the same as the guys I’m made from,” I said. “I’m better.” “That’s debatable,” Xoncron sighed. “I agree,” a new voice called out. Xoncron and I looked up to see Xoncron’s evil self, Xero, Ansem Seeker of Darkness, and … “Vanitas?!” Xoncron yelled in shock. “No,” I said calmly. “It’s not. Look closely.” The figure looked like Vanitas, but he wore gray and black and his yellow eyes were paler and his hair was a lighter shade of black. “Mind telling us his origin?” I asked. “The heart can be a dangerous thing for someone like Vanitas,” Xero laughed. “All that negative emotion isn’t that good. You’d be surprised how it can manifest.” “Interesting,” I said. “If you’re here to fight, then we’ll take you!” Xoncron yelled as he called out his Keyblade. “Relax Mr. Hero,” evil Xoncron said. “We’re not here for you. Today, anyway.” I sighed disrespectfully; why was it always me? “If you want to fight then I’ll fight,” I said. “But not here.” “I think I know the perfect place,” the other Vanitas said. A portal to darkness opened at my feet and I was sucked through. However, I was able to make my way through with ease and when I landed I was in the Keyblade Graveyard. “Fitting,” I smirked. I saw evil Xoncron, Xero, Ansem SOD, and other Vanitas – I’ll call him Vain – appear on a clift above me. Vain said, “I hope you like TV.” He snapped his fingers and silver lights appeared in the sky. They were of different worlds with the people looking into them. I saw Xoncron, Lexa, Vanitas, the King, and so many others. Some seemed to be speaking but I couldn’t hear. “Attention worlds,” Vain spoke, “it has come to our attention that you think yourselves protected. And why? Because a few idiots wielding giant keys are popping up like the flu? Well, we’re here to show you why they don’t matter; why their era ended long ago. Oh, and for any would be heroes who try to come here, don’t bother. This world is cut off for the time being; so kick back and watch!” A headache suddenly hit me and I heard the voices again. Get out! Show them who’s the master. Ansem suddenly teleported behind me with his huge Heartless in tow and smacked me in the head and sent me flying into a stone wall. “Rule number one,” Vain said, “those with the power make the rules.” I yelled as I pulled out my guns and started firing at Ansem. Seven small Heartless appeared and blocked the bullets with their existences and evaporated. Before I could fire again evil Xoncron appeared in front of me and punched me with and uppercut, sending me flying up. Xero jumped down and fired a blast of darkness, hitting me head on. I crashed into the ground as Vain said, “Rule number two, hypocrites such as this one here aren’t any good for anyone, so it’s best to do away with them.” You need help! Give them despair. I jumped high into the air, splitting the ground as I did and summoned One-Winged Angel. I swung it toward vain but another giant Heartless appeared and knocked me back down. Ansem appeared behind me and grabbed me; I struggled but I couldn’t escape his clutches. Don’t sit there! Don’t be a wekling. Xero appeared in front of me, wielding Bond of Flame. She started slashing my chest repeatedly, a fire starting to spread. I roared, sending out a shockwave that blew her and Ansem away from me. But evil Xoncron fired a fireball of darkness at me and knocked me to the ground. A dark light appeared around his Keyblade and he started slashing and beating me. I could still feel the burns at my chests, the blood flowing out of me now. He struck me across the face, and I felt my nose pop as blood went flying. I grabbed my gun and fired, hitting evil Xoncron in the shoulder. He went flying and I shakily stood up. A Parasite Cage Heartless jumped at me and held tight. It was trying to force me inside it. My vision was starting to fade from the lack of blood. “Rule number three,” Vain laughed as Xero lunged at me and set fire to my sleeve, “no more heroes. Take heed; silver hair here’s the first, but if any of his key-wielding cronies show up to avenge him, they’ll get worse. I promise. The heart has failed.” I threw Xero away from me and started running at Vain, wielding my Keyblade tightly. His eyes started to glow gray and I felt my mind starting to split further. Thfjfagfddhsdfrfgsdgdgjaetilcbmyf!!!! I fell to the ground and rolled until I ended up at Vain’s feet. I tried to stand, to speak, but my mind was bonkers! “What? No wit, no bad-assery?” Vain laughed. “Oh wait, you’re in the middle of a seizure. Sorry, I can’t read you train wreck of a mind but I sure as hell came make hell with it and your life.” His eyes became brighter and I started writhing in agony, blood spilling out of my eyes and ears. I was defenseless to do anything as I was ripped apart from the inside as the worlds watched. “It’s funny,” Vain said, “two lives of good, evil, justice, vengeance, and the heart, and in the end you die alone here on in the Graveyard. And tomorrow, everyone will move on as you fade away. Do it.” I looked up to see Xero, evil Xoncron, and Ansem looking down with smirks on their faces. Darkness was swelling up in their hands and they all yelled as they sent it all flying down as Vain walked away. I yelled in excruciating pain as the power coursed through my body, my senses and mind leaving me. My body twisted in ways I didn’t think possible, my eyes feeling like they’re about to pop. And then the explosion happened. Vain I grinned as the dust cleared and saw only a strip of black cloth left where Sephirix had been before. Vanitas had wanted to give him hell and I certainly did before ending it. Norcnox came up to me and said, “I hope you know how to fill the position he was needed for.” “Don’t worry,” I laughed as I picked up the cloth. “You know, why is it no matter how badly you %^&$ these guys over, some unmentionable survives?” “Did the best we could,” Xero grinned as she kissed Norcnox on the cheek. “At least it’s over,” Ansem smirked. “Is it?” Everybody and I turned at the sound. “Impossible.” “No, nothing could have survived that,” Xero said. “That was like twenty black suns exploding in his heart.” “He’s here, but where?” Norcnox asked. “Keep your eyes out,” Ansem said. “I finally get what you’ve been selling. So allow me to join in the fun.” A blade of light shot out of nowhere and we were all sent flying. We hit the cliff walls and looked to see Sephirix, bloody, beaten, and broken, but smiling crazily, his left hand full of darkness and his right with light, like two fuses about to go off. “Rule number four,” Sephirix said. “I %$^&ing always win.”
  24. “What’s up with you?” Xoncron asked me. “Pardon?” I smiled. “You and Lexa have been acting weird for a bit now,” Xoncron went on, “so I’m gonna ask now: what did you do to her Rixec?” “Sephirx,” I said coolly. “You’d best remember that Xonny. I am my own being.” “You’re no different from any Heartless, Nobody, Unversed, or Dream eater,” Xoncron scowled. “Oh, I am very different,” I grinned. “Tell me, what do you think of this universe?” “It’s a KH’s fan’s dream come true,” Xoncron answered. “Other than the stuff trying to kill us.” I laughed, “Yes, yes, but I mean physically. Is this universe real or a collection of data? You did come through a computer after all.” “I guess I never thought about it,” Xoncron replied. “Then think of this: what if this is all data?” I said. “What if you and the others are the only real things here? Then things like Lexa and Vanitas being together is real making out with data.” “Then what about you?” Xoncron asked. “I’m probably the most real and unreal thing here,” I smirked. “I was made from Sephiroth and Rixec, the latter of which is real. So that makes me more real than everything else here.” “Yeah yeah, you’re a real philosopher,” Xoncron stated, annoyed. “Now tell me about Lexa!” “Fine,” I grinned. “I kissed her. Xoncron gaped at me as he tried to process what I said. “You what?” “Kissed her, on the lips,” I laughed. “It was very nice.” Xoncron grabbed my collar and threw me against the wall. “You better stop messing around with my friends or else I’m gonna…” “Messing? Heh, didn’t it occur to you that my feelings might be real?” I asked him. “That makes me different from the ones I’m made from. Neither of them had anything for Lexa so what I feel proves I am myself. Not Sephiroth, not Rixec. Just me. Sephirix.” “You say this universe might be data, so what about the data part of you?” Xoncron inquired. “Hard to say, but maybe I’m more real than data,” I said. “Physically, I look like Rixec, so maybe I’m more real than data.” “Then what would happen to you if you went back to our world?” Xoncron asked. I removed his hands from my collar and said, “Who knows. But or the time being, I am myself and I am here.” “Maybe not for long,” Xoncron said. “If Vanitas realizes what you’ve done he’ll kill you, or at least make your life hell is Lexa stops him.” “I’m not scared of him,” I laughed. A sharp pain went through my head and I crouched down as I clutched my head. Can’t believe you did that! Very interesting. You’ve developed feelings, so what happens now? You might feel something for Lexa, but she’s still dating Vanitas – God knows why – so you probably look like a creep to her. Then you should eliminate all obstacles and take what you want. There’s a better path. But what’ll become of us in the end? “No,” I groaned weakly. “What’s up with you?” Xoncron asked, surprised. “Just be quiet!” I snapped. I tried to calm myself, to make the voices cease. What was happening to me? It was getting worse, splitting my head in half. I had to calm it down, but how? Cocoa? Will that work? No – I’m still agitated. Fighting, think of those you’ve beaten – Argh! Think! What’ll calm you? What? Lexa popped into my mind and I remembered the warmth of her lips, of the fast beating of my heart. My pain was subsiding, my emotions calming down. Lexa, you amazing girl. Once things quieted down I stood up, shakily. “I’m me,” I said. “No matter how I came to be or what I am, I am me. I’m not going to lose all I have.” “Sephirix,” Xoncron said, “what is going on?” “Wish I knew Xonny,” I grunted. “Wish I knew.”
