Alex walked over to the nearest grocery shop that was hiring. He walked up to the manager. "Hey I would like to work the register is thats alright." "hmm, well you are a sophomore in highschool and you have good grades, I guess I can put you in. Wear this" The man tossed him an apron, name tag and a party hat. 'party hat....well that's special' 'shut it, it's probably for some special they have' 'well, I have done jobs before they were less...humiliating. I wonder what Axel got' Alex stood at the register and had an old lady as his first costumer. About 30 minutes later did she finally find her money and wrote down her signature legibly. 'I hate my life'

Alex was looking at some thing online. He was seeing what jobs were available in town. "hmmm, bank teller...no. Make up artist, heck no! Vet...no. Hmmm, here...cashier, I guess" 'Cashier really?' 'what?! That's one of the things I know how to do. I was still in school.'

"Oh yeah, I love this place! And I bet...you have the red room"

"Oh yeah, this place is awesome! I'm guessing...you got the red room huh?"

Alex got out of the car and was amazed with the house. "Holy" He grabbed his bags and carried them inside. He saw the living room an was happy with what he saw. The wood looked so clean an polished it showed reflections. He went upstairs and saw a room that had a view of the back yard. And it was a good back yard. It was bigger than his room back home an had a Twin bed. "This is so my room" Alex put his stuff down and hopped in his bed.

"Sweet the place sounds awesome. Can't wait to see it." 'hope the place has ice cream' 'Is that all you think about Roxas?' 'sometimes' Arina hoped in the car next to Seichi. She was glad she wasn't with Avan any more. She didn't like being there.

"A job....hmmm, I have working for a grocery store before. Guess I could do that. I have only been working for a year and a half." Alex got out of the car, he already liked South Carolina. It was nice an warm. Better than back home

"Yeah, we decide what we want to do with ourselves. No one else can" Alex was suprised at himself, before any of tho he would have been quiet and wanted to keep out of things, but now he was just an energetic teen. He was actually happy to be away from his family for once. Away for there cages, their rules and restrictions.

"Don't talk that way Callum. You'll just jinx yourself. Maybe if you thought positively things would go better. We all have something we don't want. But no matter what we should keep our china up high*

"Finally, thought we would never get here" Alex said leaning his head back

"Oh really, seems you got quite a collecting"

"Sweet!" Alex exclaimed. "This is one of my favorite bands"

"Hmmm, you ever hear of Warrant?" Alex asked

Alex followed after Callum and got into the back. The heat was getting intense. 'another day with Axel' Roxas said almost too casually. 'not good we better move' 'But hey I want to kick Xemnas's butt, he deserves it' 'not now!' 'fine but I owe that guy some bruises.'

Arina walked over to Jayson. She was a little shy. "I will do my best too. After all I have to make up for being taken away. I can't let that happen again."

"Sweet Wal-Mart, let's go." Alex said excited and he saw Felix fighting with some other guy. "Um who is that?"

"Alright, I will go see what i need" Alex walked into the store. "Hmmm" 'Get sea salt ice cream' 'Roxas...' 'Aw come on' Alex rolled his eyes and looked around. "Let's see I will need a first aid kit, some water, duct tape, a lantern, some food. Hmmm" Alex looked around to see if there was anything else

Alex leaned on the pump waiting for Callum to come back to the car.

"Well I wish you good luck to that. How are you gonn do it? You gonna try and convince the waitress to make it cheap?Or do you have another card that gets you discounts?" Alex had to admit, he liked being on the road, blue skies and being with people that are your friends. Having a good laugh here and there. All the things that usually didn't happen back home.

"Oh boy, alright. Good thing I don't have to worry about that stuff yet." alex smiled. He climbed out of the car. "Geez, I don't remember going on a road trip ever before. Well guess the first time is the best"

"You bet, I'm not worried about those guys." "We have them outnumbered, and come on with fearless leader here it will be no problem. I do hope James will snap out of it. This isn't like him"

"You better not. Hey Axel do you remember Xion? She is Victorias inhabiter" Roxas asked

"Geez Axel you scared me! I thought something happened to you!"

Alex finally gt to where Felix an Rebekah were. "Alright I'm here and.....woah! That is one sweet car if I ever saw one. " 'Where hav you been Axel?' Roxas asked

Alex followed down the stairs after Felix. He sighed as Felix carried Rebekah down, but he couldn't help but smile.
