    I did, and America didn't have a minor role, but it didn't have a major role either. It was somewhere in the middle. To be honest most arguments presented in this thread were abysmal.

    >Good grammar Also whilst there were plenty of American troops partaking in D Day and Operation Overlord, troops were contributing from Canada, Free France, Poland, Norway, Australia, New Zealand, Holland and the UK, with the UK providing the bulk of the force as well as taking command. Not to mention the major turning point of WW2 was Germany's failed attempt to invade Russia.
