Sora will awaken as the 'new number,' whatever number that is! It's my gut feeling. but it also could have another meaning - kh3 like y'all are saying. The past will be reawakened - I also believe this means Terra, Aqua and Ven will come back, however, knowing Nomura he won't make it that obvious. So depending on how far back they plan to go, they might even use Sora and Riku's pasts (especially Riku) against them in some kind of "darkness" nightmare. It's only a thought! ^^;;

I wonder if a Final Fantasy character will be one of the seven? Since Nomura said not to expect the obvious and all. Aqua, Namine, Roxas, Xion, Axel (Lea), Ven and maybe an FF character. Just thinking outside of the box. When they say seven lights I would think they mean those that guide the way and help. But Lea is more of a main character now.

I don't think he's retaking the exam, I think he just never finished it and like I said in my previous post his real test is in KH3. He had some things to finish up... maybe since he was back in the real Traverse Town he was trying to get the Dream Eaters over to the real world and he was successful, since he was looking for them when he got there. Maybe that's what he wanted to do and then he'll continue on his quest to become a Keyblade Master~ lol.

lol we're getting off topic. But... hmm the secret message did say "never before seen detail" or something like that. Maybe KH worlds will pop up and maybe Final Fantasy characters will start playing more of a role. In the first game when they were wondering what else was out there, there of course couldn't just be Disney worlds, of course there was Twilight and Traverse Towns... I think we will see more. At least in KH1 and 2 the Disney worlds had something to do with the KH story, such as finding Riku and Kairi in Neverland and stuff. In this newest game... they seemed unrelated but they did help Riku at least because Riku could relate to Quasimodo and vice versa... hmm that's the only real 'lesson' I can remember at the moment from the Disney worlds that related to the story. This game seemed like it was definitely more for Riku than Sora.

Maybe with the appearance of the Dream Eaters it was a sign that they were moving away from Disney. Now that I think about it it would be nice to have a bunch of KH related worlds instead of Disney, but I still don't know.

Lol, give Sora some slack. He is the main character after all. Riku is a little older and more mature; he made it out of the darkness and became a better person. Sora still has some learning to do. They wouldn't just make Sora the Keyblade Master right away like that. Sora's real test will be reawakening the hearts and defeating Xehanort, retrieving the X-blade and then I think they will deem him as a Keyblade Master. Sora has pretty much been going through the little darkness phases in the past few games; KH1 was a bit innocent, Riku falls into darkness, etc. Now it's Sora's turn to learn how to conquer the darkness. Even though he knows he can do it in those tight situations, he still fell victim to the Realm of Sleep. He always needs other's help. He's gonna learn how to stand on his own two feet. =) Don't get me wrong, Sora is strong - he has to be, but he needs a little more independence like Riku before he can be deemed a Keyblade master. Sora is strong through the connections he has with others.

Hi everyone, I'm SoraxKairi7 (ff.net) and I just finished this game today and this secret message has been bugging me all day. lol So I looked around this forum for answers and although yes, I do think that it means KH3 I have been trying to think - what about KH3? What is the new number? Is it just the III? Will there be yet another new character? I'm really just thinking aloud here... what does it all mean? I'm just as confused as everyone else. "The past shall be reawakened~" This is obvious - Ven needs to wake up along with the others; Aqua will find her way out of the darkness, Ahh, it's been a while since I've played BBS. New number... I wanna know what it means!! And someone was saying that after KH3 the Xehanort saga will end and a new saga will begin? So Kingdom Hearts is going to be like a super long series? I know its just speculation but I just can't imagine what could possibly happen after the Xehanort saga. How much more complicated can it get? lol There won't be any Disney left... other than the sequels, and that's not too appealing to me~
