I feel your pain, it's taking me 7 minutes just to get a bar and a half off.

I don't exactly remember the feel of KH I and II but I like the command deck. Only thing I wish is that if we have the freedom to use whatever commands we want that there be some balance in damage between physical and magic attacks. (I don't use magic except curative spells) but the way people put it makes it sound like my whole line of commands of physical attacks wouldn't even outdamage a single high tier spell which with the proper abilities can be chained with more high tier spells without having to wait.

Warning, Once More terminates if he punches you against a wall and Sora doesn't do a very good job of blocking his flurry of punches, better to dodge with him instead.

I think I have this battle down after probably over an hour of learning my mistakes (I'm a stubborn one who likes his challenges and am still on one cura). Assuming I am right about my mistakes this is still going to take a long time unless I can get a reality shift. OTL

I did notice that my 2nd run through but I'd probably have to go back and really look to find other things. Feel like I've been too focused on having a challenge / being a completionist to have a good focus on the story and what is to come.

The thing that has me contemplating this that i don't know if curaga will save me from is

I see, thank you for hte confirmation everyone. Just wondering if I really want to work through the hassle of switching my party set to upgrade from Cura to Curaga. I've stayed on Cura namely due to it heals a fair amount without taking a long time to reload and also because, even at end game I still haven't really needed Curaga. With a defense of 8-9 I'm just contemplating if I'll ever really need to fully heal myself.

I know reload does but reload effects all things. I was curious if magic might while one's HP isn't in peril.

I'm not using the command. Just getting ready to use cure.I've seemed to have died to the same attack without doing anything though. So I'm curious as to why certain moves bypass it.

Anyone feel like it doesn't work as it should sometimes? I'm not sure how they programmed it to terminate but I feel like if I even move to a different command while stuck in a combo I die.

But most dreameaters in general unlock more moves if they go to a different disposition. The ranking doesn't effect the disposition they're in or whether or not they unlock something from that disposition.

If everyone is complaining about Ansem form II and I'm complaining about the first form I'm not sure I like where this is headed...

Ansem SoD Form I? I can see their icons but I don't see them fighting with me. I watched a video of someone fighting him and saw that he got buffs from his dreameater.

I learned low rank dream eaters have no place in Critical Mode... (Had to revive one 5+ times in the same boss battle)

I think the point of Critical Mode is learning to survive. I will admit it is frustrating but I learned to get through it with only one cura in my deck. Later bosses trying to use normal attacks won't get your very far, well.. I don't know if I can vouch for that since I'm as weak as you could possibly be. I don't think Critical Mode is necessarily the challenge. I think the challenge is in how much you limit yourself.

I'm on the final boss doing a level 1 critical mode run. I also decided to stick with using the original keyblades too. Can't count how many times I've died doing this run though.

Oh... I was being cautious and purposely not doing a lot of consecutive hits so I didn't miss it... Looks like I just need to be more ready for it to appear.

Currently not liking Ansem form 1. Can't block his barrier dash and it disregards once more. (I don't remember this being a huge issue but I'm doing a level 1 run now so..)

Really? I haven't seen this difference. I had a lower rank DE and made a star rank. I saw the same abilities.

I've used big combos before and I found that only got my an A rank unless I blocked at least a few times.

I find the fire link form useful for hitting multiple enemies and link forms in general useful for enemies that constantly block but I limit myself on a lot of things so for me the link forms and DE in general I think prove much more useful for me than anyone else.

I honestly just block a whole bunch of attacks then counter with the special move. My HP doesn't need to be super high and I almost always get star rank. Pretty sure I've gotten star rank while missing one of the dream eaters just because I blocked a lot and had a fairly high or perfect hit percentage.
