Tessa looked over, across the room, the guard was yelling at the students. Then a fight broke out, the guard had hit a student, and the students were attacking the guards. This wouldn't be good. "Look over there..." She hissed, pointing behind him. "They're getting in a fight. Bets on who's gonna win?" She asked gleefully, giggling as the guard lost a tooth and howled in rage. "This is gonna be good..." She whispered. ---------------------- Kal jumped. "Ouch!" He said, in shock. "Don't like hugs love?" He asked, still cheerful. He even chuckled, "so? You're my leader? You have to teach me stuff right? Can we start with that?" He said, laughing.

Tessa walked around the table to stand in front of William, facing him, she looked stern, but her eyes were smiling. "There's a camera right behind me. It was focused on you. He saw that..." She said, a tinge of sadness in her voice. "Be careful, now sit down, act sad, and pretend like a I scolded you." She said, smiling, "I did enjoy it though, but ooohhhh you're gonna be chewed out by our personal trainer." She giggled. "I scolded you, remember." She repeated, before walking around the table and sitting down, continuing to look angry.

(( A doesn't manipulator... Well, I'm a doesn't manipulator because... Lol. )) Kal smiled and hugged Mizuki, squeezing her softy before letting her go. "Hi! It's nice to meet you love!" He announced, in a thick accent. "I'm a... Well, I dunno what I am. It's like magic, I can make stuff out of thin air. It's so awesome!" He said, with a large, bright smile. He was fairly loud, and didn't seem to have a volume control. "You're my leader right?" He asked, smiling brightly down at Mizuki. -------- (Tessa's last post, to make it easier) Tessa eyes him. "Careful kid. It's your first day. Guards aren't scared of you yet..." She cautioned, before flicking her hand and drawing energy from herself, a bright violet whip, with clouds of a deep red seeming to live within it. The passive group stopped laughing and jumped up as thy saw her. She moved her hand in a small circular motion and the whip slammed down on their table, shuttering a large peice from it. "What's so funny boys? Wanna share the joke?" She asked, delighting in their wide fearful eyes. Only one said something she couldn't make out before they scattered, and she took back her energy, siting down. Tessa was drained by the effort.

Tessa eyes him. "Careful kid. It's your first day. Guards aren't scared of you yet..." I'm sure you can see sin in all of us, greed, lust..." She gave him a slight smile. "If you need something, I'll get it. Because right now.." Tessa was cut off from a loud laugh coming from a table opposite the room. She turned and saw a group of passive powers laughing. "Those guys are passive. Their powers are small, minimal and do little in the way of usefulness. But they're kept around, maybe just to annoy me. They're laughing at us. Wanna see something cool?" She asked, her eyes flashing.

Tessa laughed. "Can't harm me if you don't have the energy to move. But I look forward to the challenge." She said, laughing softly. "I'm supposed to keep you kids in line, and trust me, I will." She seemed to be absorbed in thought for a second. "What exactly would help you with control?" She asked, watching him with a tilted head, her eyes interested. She liked this kid, he was amusing. And strong, he'd make a nice group member once he was under control. "The professor, by the way, will hurt us, experiment on the strongest. Currently, I have a strong group, so we're all going to be watched carefully. Don't screw up. He likes his experiments. I personally, won't stand to have anyone under my charge go through that again..." She trailed off, staring at a wall. "What will help you?" (( I think I'm going to have Tessa like your character, but she'll also want to test her skills against his. Because that sounds fun. > ))

(( True, Tessas are focused more on anger and feelings than blood. )) Tessa nodded, she was intently listening. "You fit in here kid. You fit in more than you know." She laughed, a bit cruelly. "I assume you will have issues for a bit with control?" She asked, watching him with a kind, sympathetic look. She remembered her first few days here. The energies swelling around her. All of them begging to be tapped into, controlled, bent to her will. She could try to relate, so many kids went through the issues of getting used to this place. So many people, so much energy, power, strength around them. By this time, she could ignore it normally, but tapping into a person's energy, it always gave her some delight. "If you do..." She paused, considering her next words carefully, "some kids make it through here alive, others are killed... And then others kill. But those who do kill are quickly stopped. Usually by me." She said, with a grimace. "It's not fun. Don't make me do it to you kid."

(( That sounds violently horrific. Tessa and him but have similar get a whole bunch of people killed powers. Lol. So much violence. )) Tessa blinked. This kid was confusing, but she found an interest in him. "You attacked me earlier, why?" She asked, tilting her head. She couldn't think of anything bad she did to him, and she was confused by that. Not many people attacked her. Usually they were scared by her, once they found out why she was here. (( oh god so short... Watching Charlie Brown... Anyways, I'm gonna make Tessa interested in someone, so it's up to you lol. ))

Tessa sighed. "Okay..." She shifted, and watched the students start to trickle out. "We won't go for a while, but when we do, we meet with our therapist, or what they call a trainer..." She sighed and looked back at William. "They'll expect you to tell them one bad thing about you, every day, in front of your group. All of us have to do it. Choose your worst, and work slowly down. And then you tell them something good. Start small, stay small. They don't care about good as much as bad." She said. "By the way, why're you here?" She questioned, mildly interested.

(( Hm... We'll have to see what we can do. )) Tessa nodded at William, she frowned when she noticed he wasn't eating. "Get something to eat kid. They watch us constantly. You need to pretend to eat." She said, nibbling on her banana. "Doesn't matter if you're not hungry. Just eat anything." Tessa looked upset, she had barely taken a bite from the banana, and she placed it on the table. "I'll go over a few rules to you when you're back" she sighed. "I think this is going to suck for all of us."

(( Hm... You'll have to have a chat with someone on that one. We're all pretty strong in a general sense...)) Tessa grabbed a banana from the line, not bothering with the trays and approached an already full table. "Move." She said, and produced a small smirk. This sent multiple students flying and running away. She then sat down and started picking at her banana, waiting for her group to join her. She picked this table because it went last to the trainers, and she needed time to chat with her group about what to do, and what not to do.

(Sounds cool to me. I'd enjoy that as well. It would make it less... "I hate my life, lets die" RP. Lol) Tessa looked back and noticed the other boy had moved. "Well, you gonna come? The food isn't that bad." She called, walking backwards. There was something strange about her new batch, and she knew she'd have to explain things to them. 'Such as, don't trust the authorities. They all work for the professor.' She thought, with a sigh. Tessa turned and slipped through the door, not moving it much to get through. She paused, took a deep breath and emerged into the light, walking slowly towards the trays and the food. (( I'm awake, and I'm starving... OMG guys... Food. ))

Tessa smiled as she watched him, such potential. But she knew the professor had seen it too. And showing such power was not always a good thing. "Don't show off, I loved it, but so did our... Professor. And he loves power. That's why my last team..." Tessa cut herself short, with a sad look. "We can't get close to anyone here. At any moment, we could lose someone, or... In cases like mine, I could kill them. You have to be strong to survive, but not too strong. Being noticed is bad, very bad." She warned, with a sad half-smile. "Dinner will be served fairly soon. And with it, your first school meal." She stood up, nodding towards the doors at the end of the courtyard. "Don't get intimidated. You're new, so people and guards will pick on you. Don't snap, don't get intimidated... Just stay calm. If it gets bad I'll handle it." She said, gesturing for him to follow. "Your first day officially begins." The announcement for dinner came in the form of 4 chimes of a large bell. The students were to gather, eat and then go to designated areas to meet with their trainers. Each group had 1 personal trainer, one attuned to their issues, more like a therapist, and one physical trainer, the one who worked them and their powers out. Her trainees would get to meet their trainers for the first time tonight, and that wouldn't be a good experience. The personal trainer was too chatty, and their physical trainer was a cruel, heartless woman. A woman who appeared so kind on first impressions. (( Night night! Time for sleep for me too! Yay sleep! ))

She laughed softly, "not the reaction I was expecting. Just don't tell anyone I'm harmless. Gotta keep up the look of danger. Shh" she said, smiling. Tessa suddenly frowned and visibly shook herself. 'Stop it Tessa. You can't make friends. Remember what you did to your family. No, no one can get close.' She thought, shaken her head and hissing. She had lost focus and her head was pounding. She dropped the whip, and closed her eyes, breathing slow and deep. "Attack the dummy. Please." She muttered, stepping back and crouching down, staring discontentedly at the dummy. (( Have to admit, no idea what KH is. My friend just wanted me here. ))

Tessa laughed softly. "Kid, if I harm you, with any energy, it rebels. I lose control quickly. It's just a pretty light show. I can protect myself and others with it, but not much else until I gain control." She smiled softly at him. "Step back, and lets see what I can do..." She said, her eyes flashing as she moved her hand to gather a large collection of energies. It looked as though the colours had been put in a blender, but they refused to mix, all shades of green, blue, purple, and a light orange graced the whip with a strange, mystic look. Tessa looked at Oden, watching his reaction.

Tessa sighed. "You're actually going to learn about my power. I've been here for years kid, the way we all got here... Well, it's rough for some of us. It's easy for others. I regret why I'm here. I did horrible things." She touched his shoulder. "I'm here if you need me. Just don't try to be my friend. I don't have friends." She said, with a slight smile. "My power is energy manipulation, I can take energy from something, living, and use it to fight, or to create a sheild. However, if that thing is much stronger than me, or dies in the process, I can be controlled by the energy..." She muttered, glancing away for a brief second. "It's not pretty." She shrugged and looked back, "Anyways, for this, I'll be using the plants around us... However, if you saw me and the other kid earlier, I used his energy to counter his attack. It made him weaker." (( I think VIIth is asleep, he's not lookin at my messages at least. Lol. ))

Tessa blinked and then nudged him. "Brighten up. We're all stuck here together. No need to be depressed about it. Sure as heck that guy over there ain't." She nodded towards Kal, who was still standing there smiling. "Too happy for my tastes. But hey, I'm a downer." She shrugged. "What's up? What's wrong kid?" She asked, nudging Oden in the shoulder. (( Not judged him! Oh god! The keys are so close! I'm not mean I swear! ))

He's very trusting and funny, and enjoys making others smile. ::Reason:: none ::Appearance:: Kal is a handsome guy, if not overly muscular. He is 6'06", and thus very tall. He looks like a very tall, very large, typical football player. He has bright blue eyes and blonde hair, a large smile is always on his face. He has a tattoo on his upper forearm of a bird, symbolism unknown to anyone except himself. However, he doesn't show it much, wearing t-shirts that just barely cover it. ::Entrance Post:: The professor walked onto the training grounds, escorting a large guy, who towered over the scrawny professor. The large male, Kal, had a huge smile on his face, and looked ready to strangle the next person he saw in a big hug. It was easy to tell the professor had already undergone the same treatment, as his clothes were ruffled and wrinkled. "Mizuki? You have a latecomer. Do you want him?"

Tessa grumbled to herself, "annoying little..." But she was cut off as he wandered within ear shot. "Your power is radio waves correct?" She asked, and without waiting for a reply she turned and pointed at the dummy. "Is your control presice or general? And how much does your drawback effect you?" She asked quickly, watching him with soft, smiling eyes, despite her frowning face. She knew to be gentle, but still stern. However, connecting with people wasn't something she liked doing.

Tessa noticed Mizuki looking at her and withdrew her hand. "Get up kid, join me when you're under control." Tessa turned, walked towards the training dummies. "Come on Oden. More your butt over here." She called, frowning at him. 'Dont be soft Tessa, they need you to be the strong one... At least, once they realise the horrors. Don't let them get killed too.' She thought, wincing. "Come on, we don't got all day!" Tessa was concerned about her trainees. If they lost their way, or made a mistake... She didn't want to get attached, but they followed her. It would be her fault if they died. She couldn't let that happen.

Tessa crouched down and touched his shoulder. "Watch yourself. Don't lose control. But I think I know the reason why you're here." She smiled kindly at him. "What's your power kid?" She asked, watching him carefully. "And don't attack me, or any of the senior members, we've been here a while, you could get hurt." She said, patting his head and standing up, offering her hand. "Come on, get up, give me your power and let's go."

Tessa's eyes glittered joyfully, she moved to the side, and stepped just out of his grasp. "Don't play boy, fighting here ain't good. Control yourself before I do it for you..." She threatened, chuckling softly. She loved fighting, but this could get deadly, and she didn't need that punishment. For either of them. She crouched down, pulling from the boy himself for energy, a large black whip appearing around her, curling and twisting in the air, taking its energy from the boy. (( I left you two back because a 3 or 4 way convo is hella hard to do in a roleplay setting unless we decide who goes first. Lol! ))

(( Its fine! Lol it's not way short. )) Tessa, distracted by the boy hiding in the shadows walked away from Oden and Mizuki without saying a word. "You. You're one of mine aren't you?" She questioned, not unkindly. She walked slowly towards him, her sense heightened, he was a curious boy. "You chosen your room yet?" She asked softly, watching him closely. He was interesting to her. Seemed to hide from others like she did when she first arrived. But he seemed darker... More reserved than she was. She didn't dislike him, or like him. But her curiosity was getting the best of her.

Tessa winced as she heard Mizuki's voice. She had always been afraid of this girl. The things she could do... Tessa shook herself from her mind and turned. "No, not as far as I can see. You noticed any of mine doing well?" She replied, a calm demeanour hiding her stressed voice. Tessa was careful, watching the girl, and always ready to block herself, not that it would do much against her ability... Tessa flicked her hand towards Oden. "This is Oden. Oden, this is Mizuki."
