"If you want to grab some water, go ahead, but I wouldn't recommend it. Something tells me it's no ordinary water, and even if it is, who knows how long it's been stagnant. Either way, I'm going into the elevator." said Lieth to Reverie, before entering the mysterious elevator. Sure, it was likely very dangerous, but one generally doesn't learn the truth by playing it safe.

(Liath and Reverie Group) "Well, either way, I see no reason for us to stay here. Perhaps if we keep going, we'll encounter others like ourselves." said Liath, before continuing south, further into the city. (South)

I'll actually be to busy to post very often until Sunday for theater reasons, so that works out great. Do you mind if I at least get out dynamic duo moving to the next location? I was thinking south.

"Excellent job Reverie." Liath said, standing up and dusting off his jacket. "Are you all right, sir?" Mr. It asked. "Yes, I'm quite fine." said Liath, accidentally speaking out loud. He then turned his attention back on Reverie, "So according to Q, defeating these creatures will help us better understand our new powers. What do you think she meant by that, exactly?" he asked.

"I don't know about this, sir." Mr. It said. [Don't worry about it, everything's under control... I think.] Liath replied. "If you say so. Well, here goes nothing." The ship then dive-bombed straight into the machines, exploding once it hit it's target. Fortunately, Mr. It was able to go into Liath before impact, making him nearly invulnerable. Liath lay amongst the wreckage, unchanged, save for a couple of bruises and a headache. "Well then, that was a lot less enjoyable then I thought it would be." Liath said, rubbing his temples.

As Liath jumped into the pod, Mr. It left his body and possessed the giant machine. As he did, it turned into a giant, rickety ship. It was probably too beat up to be used, and didn't have any weapons, which meant it was likely only useful for one thing... "Reverie, get the Marauders right next to each other, and get out of there. I'll take care of the rest." he said, as the ship rose from the ground.

(Reverie and Liath Group, Haven) "Thanks... again." Said Liath, feeling rather bad about Reverie saving his bacon two times in just as many battles. He needed to do something impressive fast, or risk looking inferior! [Mr. It, are you there?] Liath mentally asked. "Yes sir, I never left." [Than why weren't you answering me earlier!] "I thought you would be better making friends with the others." [Fair point. Now, we need to find something for you to posses.] "I'm sorry sir, but I can't leave you. Without me, you're vunerable, and there's no garentee that the next time you're attacked, Reverie will shield you again." Liath wanted to argue, but there was no time. [Hold on, I have a plan.] Liath thought, and made a dash for the pod the two marauders came out of. If he could get inside, perhaps Mr. It could transform it into something to fight these robots, while Liath was safely inside...

Would the franchise be better if Riku was the main character?
If it wasn't for Birth by Sleep, 358/2 Days, and Riku's half of 3D, I would agree with you. However, those games count for nearly half of the story, and yet Sora plays only a minor role in them. Xehanort is what drives the entire plot, while Sora merely reacts to it. The series began as one about Sora, and his quest to find his friends, but after Kingdom Hearts II, it evolved into one about a man striving to recreate Kingdom Hearts. Also, try explaining the overall plot of the series with Sora at the center of it, like many do, and it seemed really confusing. But explain it with Xehanort at the center, and things start to makes a lot more sense. Will Xehanort continue to be the main character once the Xehanort Saga is over? Of course not, but for now, if you take every Kingdom Hearts game into consideration, I believe Xehanort is the main character.

Well then, I guess it's my turn. These are Liath's themes: General Battle Final Battle Sad (my personal favorite, as well as the only one with lyrics) Death (if he actually dies, of course)

"I see. Good to have you, Reverie." Liath said. He couldn't yet get a proper read on Reverie, but he seemed like a decent person so far. After all, he did jump in to defend him and Kristy during the previous battle. And besides, while he wouldn't admit it, Liath was glad he wouldn't be alone for a while. Continuing southeast, the two of them eventually encountered...

"Well then, now that that nasty business is done with, I'm off to explore." said Liath, in an unusually chipper tone. "If anyone wishes to come with me, feel free." and with that Liath began walking southeast, nearly skipping with excitement. (Southeast)

Who is your favourite party member in Kingdom Hearts II (besides Donald and Goofy)?
Definitely Riku, with Beast as my second favorite.

Once the walls go down, Liath's probably breaking the group. Your character's free to join him, if you want. Same thing for me with Liath.

I'm pretty sure we've agreed on sending Firro's character. She's already in the pod, and nobody seems to be against her going.

"If that's what you want Wlynn, go for it." Liath said, growing impatient. There were comets to investigate, districts to reinvigorate, and secrets to learn, and here he was, trapped in a box! It didn't help that by contrast to the city itself, his teammates seemed rather dull, and he doubted he would work well with them. Perhaps he'd be better off solo.

Liath took the practical approach, suggesting that they sacrifice who he deemed was the weak link, and attempted to speed up the deciding process so that he could begin exploring the city, strengthening his powers, and learning the various secrets this place has to offer. That said, I was seriously considering having him sacrifice himself, before coming to the conclusion that that would be totally out of character, especially if someone already volunteered.

[Exelent job Mr. It.] Liath waited for his companion to reply, but it didn't, [Mr. It? Are you there?] still nothing. He then noticed that the vending machine Mr. It had been possessing was frozen, as if it been turned off [Hm... perhaps it needs time to recharge.] Or at least, that was what he hoped was going on. Liath then turned to the group, "I agree with Sora, she should go." he said. It wasn't anything personal, he just didn't want to be stuck in a group with an emotionally unstable person, especially if they would be facing plenty of life or death situations in the future. "So, where to next?" Liath asked, thinking the matter of who to sacrifice was already settled.

Would the franchise be better if Riku was the main character?
Technically, Sora isn't the main character, only the main protagonist. Xehanort is the real main character, at least in the franchise as a whole, since the story actually revolves around, and who primarily steers the course of the story. With that said, would the franchise be better if Riku was the main protagonist? While I prefer Riku as a character over Sora, I don't think so. If Riku was the main character, the story would have to be grittier and darker as a result, or else playing as him would feel out of place. And personally, I think Kingdom Hearts is better off being the lighthearted and fun, yet still deep and compelling franchise that it is. That said, I would love to see Riku star in his own spin off series some time after KH3 is released.

(Liath attacked the behemoth too albeit indirectly. Oh well, I'll just improvise.) As everyone else's epic and flashy attacks landed on their intended target, the stop sign thrown by Mr. It simply whizzed by the creatures head, missing entirely. "It, what the heck!" Liath shouted at the vending machine. "Sorry sir, still getting the hang of things." [understandable.] Liath thought to his new companion, [...perhaps the situation calls melee weapon.] "On it, sir!" The vending machine then ripped a street light from the ground, and swung it baseball bat style into the middle of the creature's back. The light was a lot heavier than the sign, slowing down Mr. It quite a bit, but with the giant distracted by the others, it wasn't a very hard target to hit.

"I'm quite alright, thank you." Liath replied. He had a million questions on his mind... well, more like 173, but for now, he had to focus on how to kill this thing before it killed him. Or anyone else, preferably. "Do you know how I work, sir?" Mr. It asked. [Oddly enough, yes.] Liath replied. He than turned his back on the others and ran into the nearby building, which from the looks of things was probably a sandwich shop. Not long after this, a nine foot tall robot with the body of a vending machine smashed through the doors, broke off a stop sign by the corner, and hurled it like a javelin at the doll's face. Liath then casually walked through where the door to the building was, straightening his bow tie. "Well then, this has gotten quite interesting." Liath said, surveying the chaotic and delightfully absurd battle being waged in front of him.

Skyline (Roleplay Thread)
Liath sized up the others, trying to figure out who would make the best allys, and the most probable enemies. Kristy seemed nice so far, being apparantly kind and compassionate despite the bizarre predicament she was in, and that from the sound of things, some of them could very well die here in this whitewashed city. Sora, meanwhile, was clearly emotionally unstable, which almost never let to good things. That, and the whole part fox thing kind of weirded him out. He couldn't get a decent read on the other three yet, but hopefully that would change before long. His mind than drifted to what Q had said to them about Abilities of Creation. He wasn't sure what she was talking about, and couldn't help but think of Minecraft when she said it, but as she told them about these abilities, Liath had felt a strange power growing inside of him, and a faint idea of how to use it. Deciding it was time to test this Ability of Creation out, Liath leaned against the wall of a nearby building, shut his eyes, and concentrated on summoning the sphere of energy required to transform other objects. However, he couldn't sense anything different happening. So he concentrated harder. And still, nothing happened. So he concentrated even harder, until... "Careful, you're going to pop a blood vessel that way." a mysterious voice said in his head. Liath opened his eyes, and saw a small glowing sphere about the size of a baseball hovering in front of him. [Hold on, did that thing just talk?] Liath thought to himself. "In a way, yes, but only in your head. Oh, and I can read your mind too." Liath struggled to wrap him mind around what was going on, [Wait, but how can you talk? How do I know you're not being controlled by someone?] "Well, I guess you can't know for sure, but trust me, I'm not being controlled by anyone. Or at least, I don't think I am." [And let me guess, even if I don't believe you, you're still going to stick around.] "Yes." [Alright, fine then. I guess I don't have a choice. By the way, what's your name?] "You know, I don't believe I was ever given one. Any suggestions?" [Really? Well in that case, how about Mr. It?] "Sounds good to me." While this conversation was going one, the others could only see Liath silently and bizarrely staring into a ball on energy floating less than a foot away from his face.

"And I'm Liath, pleased to meet you both." Liath said, walking between Reverie and Kristy shaking their hands. "I assume neither of you have any idea how or why you're here. In that case, do either of you have any connections to the Russian mob? Or perhaps the Italian mob? If not, this could always be the work of the CIA. I did leak some of their more shady intell to FOX News a couple weeks ago. Maybe this could be the work of that software developer I helped the cops go after last month. Oh wait, he's dead now, although this could be the work of his son..." Liath continued to ramble on like this, more or less unaware that there were other people around him anymore.
